Dr Shelton is kind and caring. I saw her recently and she was extremely thorough and gentle. I would highly recommend her. The office is clean and neat and the staff are all very courteous. Very happy with all of them.

Dr Fakih is amazing!!! She is so caring and goes out of her way for her patients. It’s rare to find a doctor that provides outstanding medical care & takes time to thoroughly explain everything. She not only takes care of her patients physically but mentally as well & that’s a huge advantage when trying to find the right Obgyn. The office staff are all very friendly and helpful as well! Highly recommend!

First time seeing Dr. Fakih. I will say it is the first time I’ve ever been completely comfortable with a doctor. She was very thorough and explained everything to me. Very kind and professional. I definitely will keep her as my gynecologist. The staff was great also! No wait and I was in and out in about an hour, that’s great for a new patient! Very impressed!

Yesterday June 9 2021, I was waiting in the lobby for an hour to go in to see Dr.Fakih; then a lady walked in and announced her name out loud Summer Homemade Meal to the front desk lady, she asked to see a staff,the staff came out and told her I will let you cut a patient and you can see the Dr.Fakih for your concerns Summer Homemade Meal walked in without an appointment and had took my appointment time that I was waiting for 3 months, then she also saw the ultrasound before I did,I was told that the ultrasound is booked today and I had to wait a another whole month again. What kind of office are you running!!! this is a joke and disgusting,I been waiting 3 months to see the Dr.Fakih, suddenly some lady named Summer can walk in without a schedule appointment just because she knew a worker at your office,the worker wore dark green pants with matching dark green scarf,I told one of the ladies(worker) there about this problem and she dint even care!What a shame!

Dr.Shelton is an Amazing Doctor. She is very attentive and cares about your well being. She takes her time and listens to all of your concerns. The front is a little slow but after you see The Doctor everything else goes pretty fast checkout, scheduling etc.

Dr. Mona Fakih is an amazing doctor with outstanding bedside manner. I feel very comfortable and at ease under her care. She’s very knowledgeable and understanding. I’ve been to many OB/GYN doctors and none of them were as thorough and detailed as she is. She is the only doctor that was persistent in trying to find the cause of my problem and through her persistence and several tests later, I found out I have a rare congenital defect that is causing my issues. I recently had a procedure done with Dr. Fakih and she called me the evening after my procedure to check on me and go over the findings and inform me of the additional plan of care needed for my situation. I’m so glad I found her. Doctors like Dr. Fakih are very hard to find.

Horrible OB to go to. Non friendly and loves to slack at their jobs. We had to argue with them over an ultrasound and testing to be done. Then I was left in a room for over 2 hours before anyone even showed their face literally nobody came in not even a Nurse to do vitals. No nurse or doctors wanted to do anything. they did draw blood and they seemed to have a problem with that. they said they would but never provided vitamins, didn’t really care for anything it seemed... Definitely won’t be going back and won’t recommend anyone going here...

Dr. FAKIH is awesome! She is a very attentive and empathetic Dr. She truly cares about her patients and their well being. She never rushes your care and she always uses direct eye contact and explains things in a way for you to truly understand them! The staff is always pleasant as well, a great office for women of all ages!

Had my first baby with Dr. Fakih and my second one with Dr Leahy. Both were great! I didn’t have an easy pregnancy but they made it as comfortable as they could. Been going there for almost 6 years. The doctors assistant that I saw was amazing. She made me feel comfortable and listened to everything I said/asked. Her responses were detailed and I left feeling good about the experience.On the other hand, the women who works at the front desk needs to work on her professionalism. She was rude to me on the phone two separate times and while I was in the office she made multiple comments about patients under her breath. You chose to do this job so do it right or don’t do it at all.

The staff is so thoughtful and caring. I have never felt more comfortable at an OBG appointment, I didn’t even think it was possible to be relaxed at this type of appointment 🙂

Very very friendly doctors and staff here! but........ i have been extremely UNDERWHELMED with the amount of information/education they provide first time mamas. Very unfortunate. feels like if you dont specifically ask they dont inform you. Ive learned more from my app/friends and family than going to the doctors.

Other than some of the long wait times at this place, I had nothing but a good experience with them. I would hate to give them anything less than 5 stars because Dr. Leahy was a great doctor. And after experiencing how attentive and the amount of personal care he provided to you, it made it clear why wait times were the way they were sometimes. My pregnancy was pretty scary to me and I was a bit in denial as to why I needed all the testing I received but I appreciate the concern and caution now as I sit at home with this beautiful baby girl. I hate that my husband and I are considering moving because I hate the idea of not having him as my doctor.Dr. Nowakowski was also extremely pleasant to work with whenever I got to see her!

Good service. Dr. Leahy and his staff were very attentive and helpful. I would recommend this office to others. I was treated with respect and care. Dr. Leahy listened to my questions and concerns patiently and gave me his feedback and suggestions. I never felt rushed. Good first experience.

The staff was absolutely amazing. My former Dr had retired and I had to find a replacement. I am so thankful to have picked a wonderful office. Dr Leahy took the time to listen, offer advise and answer all of my questions.

So the doctors here are extremely nice and helpful! I have the pleasure of seeing Dr.Leahy and he’s fantastic.The reason i gave 3 stars is the following.1. When i ORIGINALLY called in to start coming to this office i asked for an appt with Dr. Fakih, i was specifically told sure no problem but she doesn’t have any openings next week so are you okay with seeing Dr. Leahy for your first visit? And of course i said yea that’s fine (under the impression i could make an appt with Dr. Fakih next time). My second appt comes up and they still scheduled me with Dr. Leahy which i though odd but said ok to again.. at the third scheduling i mentioned to the receptionist how when i FIRST called in and specifically requested Dr. Fakih i was told i could see her she was just unavailable at that time.. well the receptionist at this point tells me no Dr. Fakih actually doesn’t see any new patients. I was really upset with this because i felt lied to and misled from the get go. Dr. Leahy is great but that’s not my point. I’m not sure why they weren’t just straight forward with me from the get go?2. Twice now I’ve had the office call me to either reschedule my appt or telling me I’m late to my appt. They called me 2 minutes before my appt time as I’m parking to reschedule and this was wildly inconvenient. They could tell i was upset so they still saw me even though i had to wait a little bit. When they called me to tell me i was late to my appointment i was NOT, it was on the card they gave me for 4pm and the previous day reception called me to confirm 4pm time but they called me at 3:57 telling me I’m late to my appt? I just found this every unprofessional, especially when the woman on the phone was telling me no I’m late than acts like oh okay no big deal we will still see you, like it was my fault.3. The office workers are by no means rude but they also are not friendly or personable. As a new patient to this clinic or a patient to any clinic you’d expect a welcoming staff or at least friendly personalities but here they’re just like robots. Again not rude but also just not super friendly.I’m tempted to switch because I’m a first time pregnancy and really wanted a good experience with this but I’m just not really feeling it from this office unfortunately... NOT the doctors they’re fantastic! But the office itself.

This is my second pregnancy with them and I couldn’t be happier. Dr. Fakih is so kind, patient, competent and attentive. Because I am so confident in her care, I have decided to deliver in Dearborn, rather than right down the street from my house in Grosse Pointe, so I can keep her as my doctor. Dr. Leahy is the best Ob I’ve ever had. He takes his time with you and makes you feel like the only patient on his schedule. He answered every question my husband and I had with no problem. I delivered via C-section and was comfortable with him taking charge and taking my fears and concerns into consideration every step of the way. I highly recommend him. The office staff is friendly as well sometimes there’s a bit of a wait but never too long.

While I was pregnant with my last child I chose to come to this facility. Everything seemed okay at first, my doctor was nice and so was the staff. Until I started asking questions he did not know that answers to and not to mention that the day of my 35 weeks appointment was the day my baby came! I told Dr. Leahy that my son had not been moving that much and I got a very general answer, oh, its getting cramped in there. He probably wont be moving that much. Later that day my water broke! I could not get in touch with my doctor or the head doctor! There was no emergency call this number if your water breaks after hours number! When the head doctor called me back she only told me to go to hospital with no instruction! No mention on what door to go in or What to say! Would you believe that my doctor nor the head doctor of my office ever showed up! Everything was fine until it actually came time for them to make all the money my insurance was paying them!

I absolutely love them, i had a great experience.

Dr. Abby is by far the most unprofessional and unkind doctor I have come across in a very long time. She is extremely judgmental, unwilling to hear you out, and the worst part of it all- rude to her staff. How do you expect a doctor who’s rude to her staff- the people who make her life so much easier- be good to her patients! Never going to her again! Unfortunate that Dr.Fahki is the great doctor that she is working with a physician like Dr. Abby.

Unprofessional and messed up clinic never met some one like this in my life. After waiting 2 hours they wanted to wait more because they are running behind even though I set an appointment a month in advance.. staffs are chatty and unwilling to help. I dont know if it was a doctor that met with me because she came to the room with the worst attitude didnt spend a minute with me learning about my history.. and rushed me to do an altera sound. When I declined it. I learn that I have to wait again to talk to her because the room is occupied.I wished I can give 0 stars.. horrible experience..

Most compassionate and competent doctor. Dr. Fakih delivered two of my children and her care and the wonderful and thorough care of Dr. Abby made all the difference in my prenatal care and deliveries. The staff is also so respectful, courteous and welcoming.

Mona Fakih is by far the best OBGYN doctor. I truly recommend her. She gave birth to my son and i was blessed to be with this doctor. By just looking at me she knew something was not right and when i had check ups she was 100% correct. I than had an emergency C section. She basically rescued my son. No doubt shes my favorite and i plan to stick with her.

I absolutely Love Dr. Fakih! Throughout my pregnancy she has been a godsend. Early on I had a couple bleeds I called about and I was always seen the same day. She takes her time and explains everything in detail. I unfortunately had to have a c-section due to a breech baby, which I was very scared to have. Dr. Fakih made me feel very comfortable and was very thorough. My recovery was a breeze and I wouldn’t want anyone else performing my surgery. A bonus is having ultrasound and lab work done in office. I can’t think of enough nice words to say about Dr. Fakih!!

Dr. Fakih was my doctor and delivered my son who’s now turning 2. She’s an amazing doctor. I love the doctor and the staff there. They’re all nice and friendly. But I hate the waiting. I’ve waited 1 hour or sometimes 1/1/2 everytime. The longest wait have I ever had was 1 and half hour in the lobby and 1 and half hour wait in the room so that’s total of 3 hours in just one visit! I would love to keep this doctor but when you have kids this waiting hour is just too much.

Nice staff but the worst service ever. I left work early just to make it to my appointment, when i got there the receptionist told me Dr.Fakih had to go in for delivery I understand emergencies happen, no problem. They said I can see another Doctor. Asked if its going to be the same time at 4:15 she told me yes. I arrived at 4:01 then after going over and over again to the receptionist she had a nurse take my blood pressure and weight and set me down in the doctors office at 5:01 said the doctor will be see you in 10 minutes, fifteen minutes passed and no one came. I just got up and left after I notified them i will never come back to this office. Any one couldve seen me because they were sitting there having conversations about their daughters moving out.

I love Dr Fakih she is awesome and very professional! I have had three babies with her. She is open to new practices as long as your health is not bothered.

My doctor has been Dr. Leahy and am well pleased with the services I received from hin and the courteous staff. He was thorough and answered all my questions everytime especially as my case was considered high risk. Glad to finally hold my baby. Totally recommend this practice for best services.

It’s been over four years since I had Dr. Fakih. Please make sure you are taking your own record of the events, especially the birth record. She will back chart whatever necessary to cover herself. I am highly disappointed in the lack of experience and knowledge she displayed during the labor process. Had I had the OBGYN knowledge and background I have today I would have fired her on the spot and requested the on call dr at the hospital. She disregarded multiple common safe guards and medical recommendations for labor putting both my and my child’s safety in danger at multiple points in the second stage of labor. Please make sure you are making an informed decision when choosing an OBGYN.

I went to her clinic on my 1st pregnancy, Mary Ann Annas was my midwife and she was awesome. The 2nd time I was pregnant I went back to them, on my first and last appointment, I received bad news about my baby. That was not the problem at all, the problem was that they had me in the waiting room for over an hour. When I finally went in, they did the first check up, I was sent for an ultrasound to the other side of the clinic, I waited for more than 30 mins, was taken in, and told me something was wrong with my baby, to go to the waiting room and wait for the Dr to go back to me, I was right next to the receptionist and even like that, they forgot i was there, after a long time of waiting, I noticed the employees were getting that jackets and started leaving, so after a while I asked when was i going to see the Dr again, they had no idea I was there, the Dr finally came after a while, with her purse in hand and jacket on, told me I was most likely looking my baby and went home. Needles to say I never went back. This happened back in December.

Not satisfied with my care

Came here 3:15 and my appointment was 3:30 and had to leave work early for this and then almost took a nap from waiting till 4:30 to walk finally into the appointment ???? ( which includes another 20min to meet the doctor)And i didnt walk in till i finally got up and asked them why am I taking so long ???And was willing to do ultrasound but now i cant becz they said “ its too late !!!”The doctor is really nice and smartBut no one wants to wait so longWaste their time and OFCOURSE leave work again to do what I had to do today !!!

I was very pleased with my first visit to Dr. Fakhis office. Short wait time in the lobby. The clinical and clerical staff were very kind. Dr. Fakhi is thorough yet efficient. She takes time to listen and to ask important questions. They are also the first office I have been to that implimented a patient/doctor portal website. No more waiting anxiously for your results.. Instead, an email is sent to notify you that your results are in within 7-10 days. The woman who helped me check out at the front desk was very friendly and helped walk me through/register me to the very user friendly portal. I left this annual OBG appointment feeling very good! Way to go!

When i first started going it was awesome dr. F was and is awesome most of the staff are amazing except one girl who laughed at me when i told her what my meds said she asked what website did i get that info from...well not so bright girl i literally just read it and she told me um no. Really? She needs to go back to school and dr Abby well i think she dont really like her job. Please dont ever say you know how someone feels if in fact you do not. So thumbs up to the majority of the fakih clan.
