I was a patient of Osta and the info that Im about to give is 💯 true. I seen him for a year the front desk was rude as ever hung up on me talked about me made me so upset and the Dr was a yeller made me cry and the last appointment was yelling and my urine was eight times the amount of something I couldnt believe what I was hearing he said he never thought I was in the pain I expressed gave me 100 NORCO tens and told me Im to NEVER be seen there again. Your in pain cant find a Dr to treat you cuz of new laws and we are mistreated This Dr is on something though the way he yells, dont go here I would testify against this guy Osta your lucky nobody came for you YET

I seen this doctor for 2yrs get injection the last one my knee swollen up and l could walk l was limping. Call his office they tell me he aint going to give me anything else l want to come in to see him... So that let u know l not the only person this has happened to. I see him on my appointment day he talks really nasty to me. He bring up med turn up ,3 months ago...Did do his examine or nothing. I wish u would said something be my knee got mess up . He tell me to drop l not come back l was in pain so yes l took some Percocets l had from couple years ago .And he tells me my insurance company didnt send me nothing to put on my knee u are a doctor u should know about that.. He told me that was a scam .. THEY SEND US A BOOK OF THINGS TO GET..I WILL COME BACK DIRTY I HAVE STILL MORE. OF EVERYTHING THAT COME UP ON ME . Thank you for the last 14 Norcross l never come back there l have appointments with a knee specialalist.. l understand u been a doctor 12 yrs that nice. But u are not perfect.. l STILL liping around . U staff is scared of u. I never felt comfortable talking to you neither. l seen u talk to them mean .. If I could give zero I would, Im trying to make an appointment and the girl at the front desk tells me she needs to speak to the doctor first than shell get back to me and yet to hear from her, this happened to me twice already! Im not sure what kind of BS is that.poor office management.

Im in the process of suing this doctor for HIPAA law. Doesnt matter, when you yell at someone in your office everyone will hear!And in response to your comments, yes I was a patient. My wife and I both came in. He yelled so loud that I know the front desk heard him. Im not surprised you would want to cover it up either. Would really hate to lose a practice. Abd most definitely yes, I am suing the office and doctor. And tust me I cant wait! This doctor is a complete scumbag.

As a Specialist Doctor there is NO WAY you can tell ME.. I repeat!! ME!! my level of pain!!! If you like those aarogant, snobby types then this is the Doctor for you!!! If I bluntly tell that the 2 inch needle epidural to my lowerback didnt help me, then why try to give me a second shot?? to bill my insurance??.. Waste of time.I called to make an appointment. They took my insurance information and confirmed my appointment...when I went there they said we’re sorry we are out of your insurance network. Idk why they didn’t tell me that when I called....they either too lazy or don’t mind waste your time.

I appreciate all the help that Dr. Osta has provided me with over the past 3 years. Without exaggeration, he is probably the best doctor in town. He is very intelligent and well spoken. He knows the ins and outs of his profession and he is not afraid to use his knowledge and expertise to help his patients in any way he can. In this era of the opioid crisis it is nice to know that there is still a doctor in town who is willing to help people suffering from chronic pain.

I have to say my care has been excellent and have been a patient for a few years now. I have been treated well and the staff is sweet sometimes a smile can break the ice and after reading these reviews it sounds like some people are not very nice period. Dr Osta. Is kind and sweet and very straightforward as a Dr should be in these times. I give the office AAA

So I have an 11:40 appointment they take a patient with a 12 appointment before me and then they completely cut me off of my pain medication very disrespectful to me today its like they couldnt be bothered to even talk to me about anyting Im glad Im done with this quack.these fine people here at American spine and pain claim that Ive been kicked out a three different pain clinics that is a flat out lie I have not been kicked out of a knee pain clinics the reason I was asked to leave yesterday is because the doctor claimed there was nothing in my system I have been upfront and honest with these people from the very beginning I have not tried to deceive them in any way shape or form and I am also not the only one on here that has put that the office staff has been rude and disrespectful simply because I asked why they were taking patients out of turn I thought it was a reasonable question.

Dr. Osta is very cool and honest. He treats my mother as if she is his own mother. He always tells her if you were my mother this is what I would do. My mother loves him and respects him for that. I highly appreciate that he treats my mother the way he treats his own family. This says a lot about him as a human being and as an honest and genuine doctor. Pain, for the most part can change a persons personality. After a rough patch when I first started coming here, I HIGHLY recommend this office. Dr. Osta is kind, understanding, compassionate and always willing to work WITH you and do the best he possibly can for his patients. His current staff is awesome and I love coming in to a smile, laugh or funny comment to ease the stress of my pain.

This Dr is a joke. This Dr. told my husband that he doesnt care about him when my husband asked him questions about a procedure he was getting. This Dr. lacks empathy and gratitude for patients. He doesnt make the patients for comfortable.Remember doc you are nothing without patients. Get your mind and attitude together. For the record my husband was never kicked out of any clinics or cut off of meds. This location was just for convenience. I would never slander anyones business unless its true facts. Just read his responses to everyone that did not like his service. Very unprofessional.

I need my pain medications and this man was my saver. My GP suddenly cut me off and sent me to this clinic. I was very worried at first but after my first visit I was very happy. I loved the doctor and his staff. The clinic is very clean and not too crowded. The wait is never more than half an hour and the doctor and the staff are always very nice and professional.

Ive been going to this clinic for over 5 yrs, I have never had a bad experience and trust Dr. Osta more than my primary care. Without him I would be in unbearable pain still. He is caring knowlegeable and yet no-nonsense, so if youre going for legit reasons and not just looking for a pill Dr I hightly recomend this clinic!!

Ok so I am new to the metro area and have been looking at reviews to find a good pain management doctor. After reading both positive and negative reviews , this doctor may be good but bad at the same time. It is concerning to me that when someone leaves a negative review on here that either this doctor or his staff is violating hipaa rights that patients have by telling the public what a patients flaws may or may not be. To me this is extremely unprofessional. I hate to say it but I don’t believe that I will be seeking treatment here based on the violations and unprofessionalism of this facility.

I was very impressed right away with this Dr. The office is very clean, the staff is very friendly and professional and the Dr is very kind and knowledgeable. He is the first Dr to focus on everything as a whole instead of just cherry picking where I have pain. I have MS and active optic neuritis. I have wide spread endometriosis and 11 surgeries under my belt in addition to the back issues I have from being injured in an accident over 20 years ago, when I was hit by a Drunk Driver. We discuss everything as a whole and how different treatments IE: PT, medication, diet ect...factors into how to move forward in improving my quality of life in a safe and honest Manor. There is open communication and a great bedside Manor. I never once felt like I was just a number while here. We had to put my father in law in Hospice a few days before one of my apts. I broke down in his office and he just listened and let me cry. This was so appreciated!! Im so glad I found this office. MS is a terrifying disease. Here I feel like I have another member of my medical team helping me navigate this along with my options for other Therapy, exercise, ect...Thanks guys, for being a great practice as well as one filled with kind staff. Believe me bedside Manor is just as important as everything else so I appreciate it so much!!

Over the past 12 years I have been to several pain clinics in the Metro area and Dr. Osta clinic is by far the best. A very clean and nice office with respectful and polite staff (this is really rare to find in a pain clinic!!!). The wait is between 10 and 40 minutes, depending on the day but when you are sitting in the lobby you dont see any crackheads sitting around you (It looks like most of his patients are older). The doctor is nice but very serious. On every visit, he perform a detailed exam and asks me all sort of questions. He always listens to me and addresses my concerns. He prescribes me some pain medications and does an injections every few month, and this has tremendously improved my quality of life and allowed me to keep my job at the assembly line. I recommend you to see Dr. Osta if you are in pain. You will not regret that decision.

I was pleasantly surprised with the care i received from both staff and doctor. Ive read many mixed reviews regarding this clinic. However, I went in without having formed an opinion either way and didnt let the negative comments effect my own opinion.1st, the office staff was very kind to me. They were understanding of my situation that i had my 2yr old grbaby the day of my appt and needed to reschedule.....they even advised me that i could bring him, although i didnt but could have. Also, i was called the day of my appt to let me know i could come early should i want to.2nd, the doctor runs a tight ship and i TRULY appreciated that. He was caring of my back pain and inquired about my many laminectomy surgeries and fusions with a run down of my overall health. Im a 51 yr old female who has suffered almost half of my life from Degenerative disc disease even causingme to resign from my much loved teaching assistant job of 13yrs. Doc was up front with me as to how he thought he could help me regain my quality of life and enjoy my family. Then he asked me, what i was looking for from him. In a perfect world i just want to have even a small amt of control over my agonizing, daily pain. I do believe this doc cares, (as we look for in all of our docs.) Doc didnt rush me AT ALL and im quite the talker when nervous. Doc could soften up a bit with his bedside manners but im not looking to gain a friend, im looking for a caring, qualified doc that has care of others and knowledge to help me thru 🤗 He was informative, knowledgeable andexplained when i had questions, without being angry or irritated, which i would expect and need in any of my doctor. Simply a nice guy and a good quality doctor.I so look forward to working together with Dr Osta to increase my quality of life. Im very pleased and appreciative that the doc has agreed to accept me and take me on as his patient.I pray my patient-doctor relationship continues to be a positive one.

I have degenerative disk disease in the neck and back due to years of labor work at the steel mill. The honest truth is that Dr. Osta was the only doctor who was able to give me a decent quality of life. This guy is as honest and straightforward as he is caring, gentle, and smart. Over the years, I saw several pain doctors in the area and none of them really cared about me, the patient... Half of them were crooks and the other half booked me for an injection before they even talked to me or saw my records. Dr. Osta is different. He gave me my pain medication knowing that this is the only thing that helps my pain and keeps me going. He never pushed any injections on me after it became clear to him from my records that they actually never worked. On couple occasions I called his office and actually Dr. Osta promptly called me back and talked to me in person. He genuinely are care about his patients and I totally recommend him to any person who needs pain management.

Dr. Osta is a great doctor who did his research on my health background instead of experimenting on me and giving me unnecessary treatments. Hes been very help full to me and my healing process!!

Just reading the negative responses and reviews are ridiculous!Ive been going here for around 3 years. Never had a problem. Sometimes yes you wait but if you cant understand the Dr.Osta shows a serious concern for his patients, having an professional and refined discussion with each patient about their ailments and what the best process is to correct the issue then you probably need to go elsewhere. His staff are always a pleasure ge is as well.He is direct but given the fact that yes JUNKIES feel that all pain management is about getting a prescription I dont blame him for being specific about whom he decides to treat or even discharge from treatment. This is not an drive thru office for pain pills this is an office to best correct your ailments.....

It is really hard these days to even find a pain clinic and a pain doctor to see you and manage your pain medications. So just being able to find Dr. Osta and see him in his clinic in Dearborn was a blessing by itself. I kept low expectations however I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the doctor and his staff actually respect and care about the patients. The staff was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable before I even saw the doctor. The young girl who checked me in gave me useful advice about how and where to do my nails. I waited good 15-20 minutes before I saw Dr. Osta, but he was worth the wait. On the first visit, he spent with me about 50 minutes going through my records and discussing my problems and the treatments. On every subsequent visit Dr. Osta still gives me the time and respect I expect from respectful doctor. I can say now that I have a caring pain doctor who cares about me and who will keep me as a patient.

Teach your employees how to answer the phone.I called and the first thing i hear is “ why does that damn phone keep ringing “ and I got very poor service.

Just met Dr. Osta today for the first time. Took my husband whom was injured badly in a car accident. My thanks to the staff who managed to get him in so promptly. They were all very kind and friendly. Office is clean and close to home. And Dr. Osta made us feel very comfortable and listened to our concerns. Very grateful to have found him. Dr. Walid Osta has clearly been doing his job for a while and he knows his stuff very well. From the first visit, I got much more educated about my condition than Ive previously learned from the last pain doctor that I saw for years. I still get more educated every time I see Dr. Osta. He is smart, sharp, and professional. He listens to me and spends time with me on every visit. Dr. Osta is also very easy going and nice but please dont try to BS him (I learned this the hard way) as you will get caught very quick. Busy office but the wait time is acceptable compared to my previous pain clinic. The staff is unbelievably nice and work with my transportation service with no problem. I have nothing bad to say about this doctor and his office and I wish him the best of luck.

I went in because I broke my back and I was on Norco for 7 months and stuck in bed. I then went to addiction doc to help get off them with suboxone. I was tottaly off pain pills for a long time until started having unbearable pain so i went in. He asked me several times what pain pills I was on before, not realizing that he considers suboxone a pain pill. I cant see the doc for suboxone anymore due to insurance. He said since i did not tell him I was on the suboxone that he cant help me and basically leave. I explained several times, i dont want Norco, I dont want oxy, Im not a drug seeker and I NEED HELP. And if your going to take an oath to help people PLEASE FOLLOW IT.

I set up an appointment to see Dr. on August 18, 2017 I’m from the Flint Heights Michigan are. a and drove 80 miles one way to see this Dr. This facility is considered to be a specialty clinic specializing in pain management.I was requested to fill out a new patient intake form and I filled it out completely. After a short while in the waiting room, I was sent to an examination room where I sat for about 35 minutes. The doctor comes in he has my file he has all the information about my spinal injuriesMy chief complaint is cervical myelopathy extremely painful and debilitating if not corrected or medicated. He asked me a few questions about my condition after reviewing my medical records and then told me there’s nothing that he could do for me based on the type of medication that I was taking after he found out my pain specialists was.He said I can’t prescribe that type of medication, he believes that my doctor fraudulently writing prescriptions for his patients unwarranted. He was aware that the clinic was closed and was not taking patients, he also told me that there had been several patients from his office that tried to sign up with him and he turned them down as well.I explained to this dimwitted doctor that I didn’t drive 160 miles to come here for a prescription for Norco 7.5. Which I am currently taking with no significant relief. He criticized my doctor describing the type of medication I was getting and told me that there is nothing wrong with me. The thing with these pain management facilities they are nothing but glorified pharmacists which makes their own determinations on whether or not you’re in pain.Him being an Indian doctor I knew that he wasn’t going to treat me anyway they overall only see Indian people as patients when I came into the waiting room all I saw Indian patients waiting in the waiting period his staff was all of his ethnicity except one African-American staff member he had their only in my opinion to show diversity of some sort. Do not go to this Dr. He’s going to profile you if you’re black and again if you’re not a Indian of his ethnicity

This doctor picks and chooses who he wants to be his patients. My husband was referred to him by our attorney and he was seen by doctor Osta till his case was dismissed by the insurance company. We have other insurance that he accepts but refused treatment to my husband claiming there is nothing else he can do for him. My husband was in a very set car accident and is still in a lot of pain from his injuries he sustained. I have called several times to speak with the doctor himself and have been very unsuccessful. This office and the doctor are a joke and he should practice medicine if he doesnt want to treat his patients. I have also reported this doctor for his unprofessionalism and his neglect towards his patients. I have never had to deal with such a mess. 2 years of medical treatment for him to tell us to find a new PMNR. If I was able to give this doctor zero stars I wouldve but unfortunately I had to give him 1 star to submit this review. This doctor only cares about lining his pockets before his patients well being. What a shame, a medical doctor that cant provide proper answers to why he would just refuse a patient that obviously still needs to be under his care. His response was for us to find a primary care physician. Well if that was the case I wouldve had my husband go to his primary care physician in the first place.

I am very grateful to Dr. Osta and his staff who are helping me with my pain and giving me some quality of life. I started seeing Dr. Osta in Canton about 2 years ago. His care and kindness were unparalleled. This is why I decided to follow him to Dearborn, although it is now a 45 minutes drive from my house. I love this new office in Dearborn which is much bigger and nicer than the one in Canton. Dr. Osta listens and spends time with his patients even if he is very busy and running behind. The wait is short on most visits, however the morning appointments seem to be quicker. I am so glad I met Dr. Osta and I highly encourage any patient in pain to give him a try.

I got introduced to Dr. Osta and his pain clinic through my daughter, whos been a patient of his for over 5 years. Dr. Osta spent over an hour with me on my first visit, listening to me, examining me, and talking about how hes going to help me. This was a big contrast to my previous pain doctor who rarely spent over 3 minutes with me. Dr. Osta agreed to keep me on my pain medications, which were actually helping me a lot. He talked about the epidurals, but he respected my decision not to have them as they never helped me before. I am currently seeing him every month and on every visit Dr. Osta shows the same concern, respect, and attention to my needs that he showed on my first visit. Although hes usually very busy and his office is full of people, he never rushed me through my visit and he always made sure to answer all my questions and to keep asking me if I had any further questions. Dr. Osta is a true saver and a live and true example of what doctors should be. I appreciate all hes done for me and I recommend him to any friend, family member, or a stranger who is need of help for severe pains like mine.
