Dr. Nix is amazing! She is fast, compassionate, affordable, and actually listens to you. I’ve been wearing glasses since I was a kid and it’s hard finding an optometrist that actually listens and explains things thoroughly so that you understand what’s going on, and expectations going forward. Always an easy visit and I appreciate that greatly!

Great customer service each time I need to take Jackson, my Grandson there. . Best part, Optomologist steps in and helps employees, she does not treat them beneath her. Sweet lady

Recently switched to Riverside because my disabled daughters insurance (Medicaid/Amerigroup) was no longer accepted at her past eye care clinic.😡 we had a hard time finding anywhere it was accepted, especially to include glasses. Riverside staff was welcoming , caring and efficient. Exam and glasses were covered and we love the pair she got!!!!THANK YOU RIVERSIDE for serving everyone!!!!!

Only open a few days a week in Davenport and they never answer the phone and when they do they are not helpful. I’ve been waiting for them to call me about my glasses coming in for over a month now. Was told two weeks ago it would be two days. Seems unorganized.

I got a piece of metal stuck in my eye on a Saturday morning. I didn’t have an appointment but Dr. Nix took care of it not long after I arrived. Thank you for the quick service & helpful staff.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Nix this morning at the Daveport office! I hadn’t had an eye exam since childhood (and had an awful experience at the eye doctor I went to as a kid.) I had some anxiety going into the appointment but Dr Nix put me at ease, was very professional, and let me know what was going on with my eyes. For the first time in my life i finally saw an eye doctor that recommended glasses instead of eye surgery! Thank you Dr. Nix!

Dr Nix is very caring, friendly, and thorough. Staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. Ive recommended Riverside to many and will continue to do so.

Refuse to provide me with my own prescription to order glasses myself. Very small selection of low quality frames. I would not go back.

I supervise a group home and brought my clients here. The doctor and the staff were wonderful. They did not brush my clients aside and treated them with respect. Dr. Nix was even able to communicate with them in sign language! I was so impressed with the care my guys got that I am going to bring my own family here.

My son with special needs and I both had appointments at the Davenport office. The staff was friendly, warm and very helpful. And the doctor is the greatest!! She cares about each one of her patients and is down to earth and honest lets you know what is going on and answers all your questions! Definitely a keeper!!

My daughter and I had appointments there for the first time. Staff was very nice and attentive to both of our needs. Dr. Lisa even came out to help me pick a pair of glasses. I would recommend this place and I will be going back in the future.

The doctors here are my life savers. I am from Kentuckyand in town only until Monday morning. I ripped one of my new contacts this morning and did not bring my eyeglasses. I had my script faxed over and was ready to purchase a whole box but instead they were nice enough to give me a pair of contacts at no charge. They were very nice and I wish that I lived closer because I would change eye doctors just based on the kindness I experienced today. Thank you Dr. Lisa Nix and staff.

I loved the staff and the fact that they would use my perfectly good frames as Ive always been able to until going to an eye doctor in Eldridge.They got the prescription done quickly.

We didnt have to see the Dr but we did bring in a script for some glasses. This was for my 2 year old who is autistic and has intellectual disabilities. He was quite busy and cranky but the secretary was really good with him even though I know it was frustrating. She cared a lot and waited patiently on him to snap out of it. She went out of the way to help us find the right glasses for each of our insurances and I was very happy with the service.

Love Dr. Nix!She has been my familys optometrist since I met her Working at Walmart in 2004! Staff id friendly and caring. Only downside is that shes always so busy so you have to schedule appts out a little far. You CAN skip the wait by going to her LeClaire office though, its not as busy out there. -Thats where us OGs like to go anyway. ;-) :-D

Doctor Lisa is a great doctor she really cares about her patients. But as a first costumer I feel very mistreated by staff. First waited two hours to get my eyes checked. When I ordered my contacts they seem very unknowlegable of where my contacts were after 10 days, and then found out that my lenses got messed up, then my frames got switched up, now there machine messed something up on my glasses. Said theyd be fixed that day to go back and call them and theyre closed!? Yeah Im definitely taking myself elsewhere to get service. If you want your frames in a timely manner dont go here.

Ive known Dr Nix for 15 plus years. She became my eye Dr when she opened her practice in LeClaire, which was convenient, since I lived in LeClaire. I moved to Davenport in 2014 and I would still drive to LeClaire just to receive her services. I was so excited when she opened up a practice in Davenport, right down the street from where I live!!! She is also one of few doctors who will take both Medicare and Medicaid. She cares and that is why she gives complete care to all!!! I would recommend ALL friends and family to Riverside Family Eye Care.

Ive been taking my kids here for years, Lisa Nix is an excellent doctor, really helpful and patient, shes really good with special needs kids as well!
