Dr. Durani treats patients as if they are family, and is proactive with your health versus reactive. If youre used to being shuffled out the door after 3 minutes with a doctor, youre in for a wonderful surprise. He also never pushes treatments, but rather gives you all the information he has and works with you to come up with a plan youre both comfortable with so that its a team effort. This happens because he takes the time that other doctors at other practices dont. You know what it feels like to have a Diamond Physicians doc? Its like you suddenly have a doctor in your family that you can call/text anytime with questions because, hey, youre fam.

What a fantastic group of doctors who give you 24 hour access to their expertise. You can go to the office or they can come to you. This is a fantastic luxury especially during these Covid times. Nursing and front office staff are always super knowledgeable and professional. 10 STARS!

I don’t like that there is age discrimination in the pricing. For a 25 year old, the price is $125 per month; but a 40 year old pays $195 per month. Older retired adults pay the most, even though they may be on a fixed income. Really sad.

This is the only way to go. Dr. Lyssy is very responsive to patient inquiries via email and text and common issues can be handled without going in to the office. When needed, office visits are scheduled promptly - always in the same week usually within a day or two. Excellent doctors - excellent care.

My 7 month old son has a condition that he has been dealing with since birth. I was told by another physician that the condition could correct itself within 6 months. The condition did not self-correct and surgery was recommended. I had an infected hangnail the day before I left on a trip to Europe. I was able to text a picture of the hangnail to Dr. Lyssy, and he called in a prescription for me. It was not necessary for me to go to the office. The prescription worked, and I had a wonderful time in Europe.

Dr. Lyssy is the kind of doctor Ive always wanted: wellness oriented and a powerful guide to expanding and maintaining optimal health. I think that is called functional medicine. The cash-only concierge paradigm, as well as his being a DO counts for the difference. Visits are never rushed and always educational, and you always have access to the doctors advice through direct email. He usually gets back to you in a few hours. The intimate and friendly office setting and focus on one patient at a time makes going to the doctor actually a pleasant experience. Theres no dial 3…dial 4…then leave a message and someone will get back to you. He responds immediately.Second, he takes great interest in the health and well-being of his patients. Hell take as much time as needed to make sure he fully understands your needs and explains his thoughts in non-medical speak. In other words, he speaks REAL English.Third, hes just a plain nice guy. The kind of person that we wish all doctors could be. I have been a diamond member, first in Carrollton and now in downtown Dallas, for several years. I have always felt that the small monthly fee they charge was well justified by a really higher standard of care, easy access to your doctor, etc.Recently however, Dr Durani, my current Diamond physician, showed such huge value in a way that is easy to explain. Here is what happened.I fell and hurt both knees, and was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Initially the docs had trouble diagnosing what was wrong, and the internist assigned at the first hospital was weak. I was able to spend time on the phone getting advice from Dr Durani each day, both helping me try to help with the diagnosis, and keeping my spirits up.We found an orthopedic surgeon who made an immediate and correct diagnosis, but he planned to be on vacation, delaying my surgery for 10 days, not a plan I liked.Dr Durani took my cryptic diagnosis and used his own network of physician friends to try to find a surgeon to give me a second opinion. He found me Dr Brigham Au through his friend Dr Ken Estrera. Both of these folks are skilled orthopedic and sports injury surgeons. I explained my situation to Dr Au and he felt the hospital I was at already had wasted too much time, and time to repair was important. He and Dr Estrera went to work starting at 5pm that night, got the surgery scheduled for the following morning at a hospital where they had privileges, got me a surgical room at that hospital and got me transferred there by midnight that night. The surgery was done, and it was very successful.The value that Diamond and Dr Durani provided in getting this to happen for me pays their monthly fees far in advance in my opinion. But Dr Durani has not stopped helping. I am still in the hospital and need advice about rehab facilities. I plan to talk to Dr Durani this afternoon about which facility to pick.Dr Durani is really is a doctor like we used to have, who has time and cares about each patient. I hope to continue in his practice for a long time.

I visited Dr Durani for a physical exam at the end of last year. He had scheduled a review of my blood tests and test results, but I was unable to attend the scheduled date. I have since called his office multiple times over the last month and was told Dr Durani would call me back to review my results. He has not called me back to review my test results. I am disappointed in his lack of follow up to review my results.

Its very rare that I get extremely sick and this past week was one of those times. After 3 days of just not getting better, I texted my symptoms to Dr. James and I got a call back from him immediately. He explained what was going on and gave me over the counter recommendations and said if I didnt feel better by Monday to come in. Well, I followed his directions to a T and I feel so much better now and I just wished I had contacted Dr. James much sooner. The days of me going to a Primacare are now behind me. Couldnt be happier. Although the initial costs took a little getting used to, I was able to use my HSA benefits to help out here. Once that was I place, monthly meetings with Dr. Lyssy proved extremely rewarding and incredibly beneficial. Second wave of blood testing and results analysis proves the program works. And Ive never felt better. These are hard things to gauge on your own as they are tests of internal conditions that absolutely require the guidance and the expertise of a qualified doctor and Diamond more than qualifies in this regards.

I cant say enough! This practice is incredible. After dealing with normal doctors that make you feel as if your a bother every time you contact them, they want you to come in so they can charge you for the most basic of conditions, wont take your calls and never get back to you the same day I was completely worn out with the medical system. After finding Dr. Lyssy I have been overly impressed by the way these folks conduct their business. Its not only affordable but is totally common sense. Dr Lyssy has my complete confidence that my best interest is truely in his mind. I think most doctors are used to dealing with a different class of people than diamond is. Therefore when you are treated by dr. I joined in July and thought this was going to be the perfect fit for me as the sales pitch was they give dicounts on test etc .. Well all was well till I saw they offered the Colonguard test however here it all went south the test is issed from the company and they do the billing and the test is 630 with a discount and insurance does not pay it .. So What does Diamond do the they offer the test at 1500 with their discount to me for 950 while this is not illegal its just smacks of just not right especially since the company bills the patient so made me feel like a real number and since I paid 295 a month for this service it just hit me the wrong way . I know this is a business but gosh dang you should be able to know your Dr is looking at you as a person and not a $$$$$$ just sayin

My knee has been bothering me for a while and after much pain, I mentioned to Dr. James how bad it was hurting. Within the same week he had an appointment for an MRI, had Dr. Meijer with Texas Sports Medicine examine my knee; had me scheduled for surgery with a torn meniscus all in the same week. Now that is service! I will soon be on my way to recovery!
