I moved to Dallas and needed an ObGyn and knew my daughter had previously gone to Swiss ObGyn. Her doctor was no longer there but they scheduled me with Dr. Gladney and am I ever so thankful that they did! Im 50 and have been to other ObGyn doctors but not one of them was near as understanding, gentle, and truly concerned for my well-being as Dr. Gladney. His bedside manners were the best Ive ever seen and he took a great deal of time with me ensuring that I was ok after a small procedure. If he doesnt move away he will be my doctor from now on!

My doctor left the practice (I guess?) and there is ONE woman at this place. 4 page waiting list and no appointments until October. Scheduling is a nightmare, and everyone is difficult to contact. I loved Dr. Harper when she was here, but would not go back based on how little was communicated to me when she left and how difficult its been to get an appointment as someone who underwent surgery under her care. Very disappointing.

Dr Littrell is by far the best physician I have ever worked with. She is patient, and does not rush you what so ever. She was very thorough in all my prenatal apts- explained exactly what would happen step by step (I was a high risk pregnancy and a first time pregnancy). There were a lot of unknowns due to a blood disorder I carry- but I never felt unsafe in her care. I also never waited more than 15-20 minutes for our apts, and most of the time I was in/out within half an hour from the time I walked in the door. My birthing story was so peaceful. I was never pressured into doing anything I did not feel comfortable with during delivery. When my pain management was a little much- Dr Littrell fought with the pharmacy to get me the right medication and to heal. I now have a beautiful baby daughter and am on the road to recovery. I drive nearly an hour to see her, and will continue to do so for regular OBGYN care moving forward.

I dont go to the doctor much due to the fact that I hate being treated like a commodity. However, with the onset of menopause, I felt I really should be checked. Dr Gladney was personable and did a gigantic panel of labs that were enlightening. I was told that I would be prescribed HRT. However, three weeks after I was supposed to begin HRT (they never called in my prescription, despite saying they would), I began experiencing pretty moderate distress that culminated in my having to call an ambulance for the first time in my life. I sent an email via the patient portal asking merely for guidance, and never heard back. Called again that following Monday afternoon and his nurse returned my call. I asked her whether I needed to return to the clinic or if she could recommend a Primary Care Physician to see me. She didnt answer my question, stated my labs were normal in an irritated fashion, then stated she would call me back. She then promptly did not call me back, just as I knew she would not. People, be real careful seeing a physicians office who forget about your prescription, cant call you back in a timely manner when you have had to call an ambulance and when youre asking basic, ordinary questions that go unanswered. I thought Navy healthcare was pretty bad, but this place is worse. If you need labs, this is your guy. If you get terrifyingly ill and need actual help, just go fill up the ER with your non-acute BS so you can annoy an emergency doctor instead, because they do not care.

I have had ALL positive experiences at Swiss OBGYN. I switched here after a disappointing outcome with the birth of my first child at a different practice and the culture and care I experienced with Dr. Payne and his staff were a breath of fresh air.Dr. Payne is attentive and kind, steady and supportive. He’s an exceptional practitioner who strikes the delicate balance between listening to his patients with an open mind (and appreciating their hopes and goals) with sound and seasoned medical council. I felt we were making decisions about my health and pregnancy together, instead of being dictated to. He was thoughtful and calm when I experienced pregnancy loss and anxiety and I knew I was in great hands with the eventual birth of my second kiddo. My husband and I both totally trusted his direction and expertise throughout the process and I got to have a successful VBAC thanks to his patience and experience. His nurses are responsive and empathetic and don’t make you feel foolish for asking silly questions. On a side note, as an OB patient the wait times were typically way shorter than I’d experienced elsewhere. I would recommend this practice all day long.

Jim Crow’s FinestThis clinic has been in business for over 50 years and nothing has changed. When I say nothing has changed, I mean they still do everything on paper and not electronically. And another thing that hasn’t changed is the SEGREGATION. The “Jim Crow” insurance law-situation they have going on amazes me that no one has even protested this clinic. If you have Medicaid, you don’t even have a choice of a morning appointment. Why is that???? I have been trying to schedule an appointment to see the doctor who did my tubal since I’m having complications and they won’t even see me because I have UHC and on the Healthy Texas Women program. I spoke to Healthy Texas Women rep, and this is not even a Medicaid policy. I spoke with Sheila, Swiss’ insurance coordinator or whatever, and she didn’t even want to take the number I was told to give her so she can call them for clarification. They told me it was illegal to have two insurances. Just because they think I have Medicaid, don’t mean I’m not smart. This clinic should really be looked into because their segregation laws are mainly hurting the ones who don’t have the luxury of being able to afford private insurance. If they were going to segregate they really shouldn’t have even signed up to accept Medicaid period.

Dr. Gladney told me I would need surgery to have a uterine fibroid removed on 1/4/2021. I have not heard from him since. Meanwhile, Ive called the office, sent a message through the the patient portal (1/14/2021), left a message with his nurse (1/20/2021) to have my medical records including my sonogram sent to another OBGYN due to lack of communication here. Guess what, I have not been contacted by his nurse nor Dr. Gladney. Now I will have to pay another 255 out of pocket to have another sonogram done elsewhere. The reason the medical records have not been sent is because the Dr. has not signed off on them. Its been close to a month. I dislike writing reviews, but the lack of communication at this office is disappointing and ridiculous. If youre looking for a Dr. try Dr. Goldman with North Texas OBGYN.

I had my first baby in Austin two years ago and I absolutely loved my OB there. When I got pregnant with my second baby, I struggled to choose who I wanted to care for my baby and I. Working in healthcare, I was familiar with the entire group at Swiss OB-GYN. All the physicians in this practice are fantastic and I didn’t mind if any one of them delivered my baby if my primary OB wasn’t available. I chose Dr. Gladney to be my primary and I’m so happy I did. He has gone above and beyond for me throughout my entire pregnancy. He truly cares about his patients. He listened to all my concerns, responded to all my annoying texts about my worries, and delivered my baby when he wasn’t even on call early on a Saturday morning. I cannot say enough great things about him. He is kind, genuine and truly loves what he does. 100% recommend this good man to anyone looking for an OB-GYN. Thank you Dr. Gladney!

I recently just had my 3rd baby. I had used the same Doctor with my previous 2 pregnancies and loved her - I told her nobody would compare to her and how sad I was I would have to find a new Doctor since she was retiring. After searching what felt like forever I decided to try out Swiss Ob/Gyn. BEST CHOICE EVER! I had the pleasure of getting Dr. Gladney as my primary physician during my pregnancy and he was the absolute BEST! I didnt think I would find a Doctor as good as my first, but Dr. Gladney was every bit as good, if not better! He was kind, knowledgeable, and caring. He always explained everything thoroughly and answered any questions I had. I felt so safe knowing he would be the one with me in the delivery room. I also always wanted to have my babies naturally (with no medication), but always ended up getting the epidural. I asked him if he thought I could do it and he said yes, so I DID! It was like my first birthing experience since I didnt feel the last 2 at all, it felt so empowering and I have Dr. Gladney to thank for that. I highly recommend Swiss Ob/Gyn, while I was getting prenatal care there I saw all the Doctors at least once and I didnt have a bad experience with any of them, the staff and all the Doctors were great. They are truly a POWER TEAM! I will never go anywhere else. Thank you to everyone at Swiss Ob/Gyn for making my experience so wonderful!

Found this office threw my insurance, I chose to go with Dr. Lyndsey Harper. My husband and I are trying to get pregnant so I wanted to find a doctor that I could start going to and build a relationship with. Parking at the office was limited, but I did not mind. I like the fact this this is a small office. Walking into the waiting area felt like walking into any other doctors office, but it did not feel as cold. Was greeted right away by front office staff. (I know she was probably busy) She checked me right in, took my paperwork and insurance card. I waited about 10 minutes before going back. My doctors nurse was awesome. She was very caring. They took me back to get my weight, height and Blood Pressure. After that I was asked to give a pee sample, then I was shown to my room right away. I did not have to get undress right away, because the doctor would be in first to go over any questions that I may have. I waited not even a minute and Dr. Harper was knocking at my door. She came in right away and shook my hand very firmly. She sat me down and went over the basic questions (cancer in the family, any health issues) She was very helpful with all my question and I knew we were going to start a relationship right away! I was then asked to undress for my well women exam while she stepped out. After exam and I was dressed she came back in and made sure that I did not have any other questions, and she advised me to call if I should come up with any questions. Her nurse came back in to make sure I did not have any other questions, and I was free to go.Dr. Harper was awesome. I will be recommending her to anyone I know! She had great bedside manner, and was very knowable with any questions you may have. She is very sweet and kind, and I can not wait to build a long time relationship with her and her staff!

Ive been in medical field myself for 16yrs .I treat everyone as V.I.P .Dont ask my patients what insurance they have .Than when find out give them less than great care.Having a baby should be a wonderful experience no matter what color religion or insurance you may have .If you are in medical and have to treat someone poorly maybe your in the wrong field. Daughter also spent 5 days in Baylor Dallas not one time did her 4 different doctors go see her .She was told they were to busy .Might wanna think about this office before going to have your care here.

Thats when you know you have a great care provider, when all the nurses at the hospital love him!I see here most people complaining is about the office. Fair warning to all women, this practice does not practice consent or fair and safe practices for their patients. Back in December I found myself in an unsafe pregnancy condition (pre-eclampsia) and was forced to “work” with this practice since they were the only ones available. The not serious things were issues with billing, them not keeping their appointments, them inputing my information incorrectly, and continually spamming me even though I fired their whole practice. The serious issues I ran into were with every visit and my emergency room visits. Welsh the doctor I was assigned to allowed his personal beliefs to refuse me safe practices. He and the rest of his team while in the hospital tried to force me into being induced without my consent, restricted my food and water, and treated me with terrible bedside manner. In my situation and with where I was in my pregnancy the likelihood of being induced actually working was insanely low. So I asked about getting a c-section I was told by Welsh that he would not do it under any circumstances. When asked why he replied that if I should ever want more children in the future it could make my pregnancy more difficult. I am a 36 year old woman that didn’t want kids and was only having this baby to allow my brother (unable to have kids) to adopt her. Welsh knew my situation and still told me this. As things became more hectic in the hospital and Welsh continued to push for me to be induced I felt stuck. I finally had someone not on Swiss’ team come and speak with me and low and behold I had a doctor that saw my concerns and also agreed that a c-section in my stage would be mine and the babies safest route even though healing would be more difficult. But even then Swiss and Welsh tried to block that doctor from working with me. So much so that I had to first fire Welsh then threaten to sue the hospital if anyone from the Swiss team laid a finger on me. It’s was not a good experience and so beyond stressful especially in an already harrowing experience. After my c-section we found out that my placenta was in terrible condition and the baby or myself might not have made it through being induced. I could have lost the baby or my own life because of their beliefs that I might one day want a child! Completely unacceptable. I am grateful that I am healthy today and my brother has a beautiful daughter that he loves so much and am so thankful I had someone that wasn’t working for Swiss step up. I wanted to share my experience with anyone looking at using this practice so they can make their own informed decision. Wishing you all safe journeys in your pregnancy and motherhood.

I absolutely love this office! Literally everyone here is great! From the girls who sit at the front desk and know my name when I arrive, to Lisa who draws your labs and is always so friendly (and good at getting my blood on the first poke), to Dr Littrell’s 2 nurses who are always super friendly and answer all my phone calls- every one Is great! When I was looking for a new Ob-Gyn over 10 years ago, I chose Dr Littrell because she was so highly recommended by lots of people I know and work with, especially those in the healthcare field (FYI if you ever want to know who the best doctors truly are, ask someone in the healthcare field who works with them- Don’t always trust what people say online and especially if they arent educated in the fieldl!!)! I am a nurse and Drs Littrell, Gunby, and Payne all have a great reputation amongst nurses and doctors and throughout the community- I saw each of them at some point in my last pregnancy for various reasons and you really can’t go wrong with any of them! From a Gyn prospective: When I had my first appointment with Dr Littrell over 10 years ago, I was super nervous, but she has never made me feel awkward. Shes so easy to talk to and I have no problem talking to her about any issues I have- Its like going to see a friend. After I met her, I no longer dreaded going to the gyno! The past few times I’ve gone for my annual, I barely felt a thing- shes really excellent at her job! You can tell Dr Littrell really loves her job and cares so much for her patients whether they are OB or Gyn patients! From the OB side: Ive gone through 1.5 pregnancies with Dr. Littrell. She delivered one of my babies and Im currently pregnant with another. I absolutely love her and think shes such an incredible doctor! I always bring a long list of questions to every appointment and she sits and listens to every single question of mine and still asks if I have more! She never makes me feel rushed or unimportant. I am super anxious during my pregnancies and she always knows exactly what to say to me and how to ease my mind. And I know she’s always going to do what’s in the best interest of me and my unborn baby. I love Dr. Littrells personality- shes very sweet and patient and has a wonderful bedside manner (and also great with my 2 year old who often comes to my appointments), but also lets you know the facts and doesn’t sugarcoat things, which I very much appreciate! Shes very smart and super up to date on the current research/best practice these days! She is a mom and I love how she can relate to my pregnancy and mom things. I always look forward to my appoints and drive 45 minutes to see her. I love the way she treats each patient as they are her only patient and cares so much for them!I had a high risk pregnancy with my first, and Dr littrell was very attentive during my entire pregnancy and I truly credit her for keeping me pregnant as long as I was and making sure my daughter was born healthy. She has taken extra precautions this pregnancy Bc of my history, and I’ve never once doubted her judgement for either of my pregnancies! I saw a high risk doctor during both of my  pregnancies, and both of them spoke very highly of Dr. Littrell! That says a lot!Dr Littrell will truly help you attain the birth you want as long as its safe for you and your baby- I really value that about her. Shes open to natural child birth, VBACs, and normal vaginal deliveries and c-sections and definitely involves you in the plan. She has never pressured me into a specific type of birth and I felt my birth decisions were what I wanted! (Btw I had a c-section and everything was perfect- you can barely see my scar- she did such a great job!). My biggest wish with both of my pregnancies is that she be there at my delivery because I know both me and my baby(s) are in the best hands with Dr Littrell! She’s truly the best!

This was my first pregnancy. Scared and nieve. They were medical experts, why wouldnt I trust them. I floated between Dr. Gunby and Dr. Paine. I was told that due to my high risk pregnancy I was going to deliver at 38 weeks. After my last visit before delivery I thought it was odd when I asked Dr. Paine if I needed to come to the clinic or to the hospital hes responded, oh yes, come Monday with your bags packed. I was never told a time or technically a place, they never make official appts. So I called on Monday ready to deliver, (my body wasnt), and kept getting the run around. Finally I get a call back from the hospital asking when I wanted to schedule delivery. Confused, I replied Im suppose to come in today. She advised me of the process and that im a day shy of 38 weeks and they can fit me in as soon as Wed. 2 days later. I was devistated. Thinking it was required my baby be delivered asap. Im a high risk pregnancy going in every other day to have baby monitored and I had to wait for Wed when I had not seen both my OBGYN or my high risk Dr. that Wed of the previous week! I was so hung up on them telling me I HAD to deliver at 38 weeks when I couldve waited. I ended up having a c-section only BC my body and baby were not ready for delivery. If I had continued being monitored I couldve gone the full 40+ weeks and most likely to have been able to deliver vaginally. I was on Medicaid and that only last so long after giving birth for post partum checkups. When choosing birth control I opted for the IUD. They ordered it on my 2nd to last visit. Last visit would be the implantation of the IUD. They told me no need to make an appt they will call when it comes in. I never heard from them. I had to call and call they said I can come in for samples and when I advised the nurse about my last visit and was suppose to get an IUD she said she would look into it and call me back. Im still waiting for that call 5 months later. Ive since left VM and no response. I was desperate for a Dr. I will never be that desperate again. They only see patients with Medicaid on Mondays and Wednesdays after 3pm. I feel that their Medicaid patients are treated poorly. Constantly lossing paper work, blood work and theyre not personal. Cant remember that were even their patient. There are more practices that will accept Medicaid and not treat your pregnancy as 2nd class.

So I contemplated writing a review but I think this needs to be said. I was a new patient to this clinic and the day before I went in for a well women exam I found out that I was pregnant. I have a past history of a miscarriage and an ectopic which resulted in emergency surgery and caused me to lose my right tube. When you have one ectopic you are at higher risk of having another. So needless to say we were very worried about this baby. I was a patient of Dr. Paynes and when I went in to my scheduled apt(on a Monday). I told them I tested positive on a pregnancy test and about my previous history. Dr Payne did an ultra sound and said he could see the beginning stages of a pregnancy and I was about 6 weeks. I did blood testing and my results looked good. Thursday I was having some side pain on my left side but chalked it up to pregnancy issues like constipation and such, by Friday the pain had gotten worse, I couldnt sit, stand or lay down without being in pain. I got home and called the Doctors office to speak with the doctor on call. The Dr. on call was Dr. Gunby and I had never spoken to him prior to this conversation. I told him I was experiencing pain on my left side and was concerned because the tube I have is on the left and that I had an ectopic pregnancy on the right side previously. Dr. Gunby told me I needed to just relax and take it easy and if it got worse just go to the ER. (He was not very concerned and didnt really seem to care, just wanted to get off the phone.) He told me it couldnt be an ectopic pregnancy because I couldnt have one till 8 weeks!!! I honestly couldnt believe he said this! I flat out told him that that was a lie, my first ectopic happened at 5 weeks. He didnt say anything other then he wasnt concerned. I hung up with him and did my best to cope with the pain. The fist thing I did Monday was called another OBGYN that I planned to switch to and told them about the pain I felt Friday and they immediately told me to come for an ultra sound. Come to find out i was experiencing another ectopic pregnancy in my left tube. The point of this review is so you dont make the same mistake I did by going to this clinic. Had I not gotten a second opinion it would have resulted in another surgery and the lose of my left tube and I dont think I could have gone through that again. I had to go through the lost of my 3rd child but thankfully with the new doctors help I was able to keep my left tube and some hope of having a healthy pregnancy in the future. Please please look into another OBGYN before going to this clinic.

My reviews keep getting taken down, which I find very disturbing.Dr. Robert Gunby performed a lab!aplasty on me when I was barely 18. My consent form says, “excision of redundant lab!a.”He completely removed all of my lab!a m!nora, performed a cl!toral hood reduction without my consent, and injured the dorsal nerve of my clitor!s, so I have essentially no sensation distal to my scars. To put it bluntly, I literally cannot feel someone oral sex. I definitely was not like this before my surgery. The branches of the dorsal nerve of the clitor! travel above the tunica along the cl!toral bodies, so this is entirely possible. When I confronted Dr. Gunby, he blatantly lied about a number of things, in a letter, of which I still have a copy. He tried to make me believe my outcome was my fault. He took no responsibility whatsoever. And he also refused to see this as symptomatic of a systemic lack of training in vulvar anatomy among OB/GYNs. He refused to help me change OB/GYN curriculums and credentialing policies to help keep this from happening to others.I’ve had this confirmed by other doctors. It took years for me to understand since both he and his partner were dishonest with me about my result. Having to struggle to figure out what happened to me and understand it was the worst part, as was the lying and blaming by Dr. Gunby, which caused me to become suicidal and afraid to report. I gave him the opportunity to do the right thing on his own before reporting him and was ultimately intimidated into not reporting because I was so afraid, given his reputation, that the board would take his side.In addition to my lost sensation, I also suffer chronic discomfort from an exposed vestibule. I have sought to have this repaired and was told I did not have enough tissue left.If anyone doesn’t believe me, I can send photos as well as a copy of the letter he sent me. I will not be silenced anymore. What happened to me was horrible. It upsets me to read all these positive reviews considering what he did to me. While the original medical error may have been a genuine accident stemming from overconfidence in surgical skills despite lack of training, his failure to disclose a known error (he never did the surgery again), denial, lying, and victim-blaming were not.

Shelia is very rude and when Im asking to see something in writing where you cant have a primary and secondary insurance she got nasty with me and HUNG UP ON ME! I was going to call back tell them about themself but i decided to save the stress and just inform everyone else. I thank God that I got to see this office staff true colors before I became a pt there. Im sure they wouldnt be good for my pregnancy. Wouldnt recomanded them at all!

I love Swiss ob/gyn! They are amazing. I was with Dr Gunby and he is amazing!! I got a chance to meet all the staff and had other drs check on me and they were all great. I enjoyed having all my check ups here during my pregnancy because of the amazing staff and drs. Ill definitely be coming back for my second child (whenever that will be).

Dr Gunby and his nurse are the best! My first visit was to remove the birth control implant Nexplanon which caused HORRIBLE side effects and my previous obgyn insisted me to keep. I visited Dr Gunby and after he knew I didnt like the implant he asked no further questions and removed my implant. It made my life SO MUCH BETTER!!This year I visited for annual exam and HPV vaccine. He and his nurse did an awesome job! Gave me all the information I needed and everything was great. They didnt try to sell me any drugs or anything. Just simply be a great physician and a care provider.

This place blows my mind first off hey are clearly not organized and I question their cleanliness. In the small area where they draw your blood its cluttered and the nurse keeps her purse in the sink. Theres open cup urine samples on the countertop on the bathroom and they can never seem to remember if they have taken my blood or given me a test. One of the two nurses named Whitney is condescending and doesnt know how to be professional to add to that on my last visit here (by choice) Dr. Robert Gunby waived his finger in my face explaining to me that I need to behave after I attempted to explain my anger of not being able to get a hold of them to make my appointments after 6 voicemails and 4+ weeks when I am at the last week and a half of my pregnancy. However I was not able to make my case or get a point across because he kept interrupting me after asking me a question. I see nothing appealing about this place. The care you receive sucks and my mind is blown that an experienced doctor would act this way...to a pregnant woman. Do not become a patient here you deserve better care than that of which I just received.
