They really spend the time to not only make sure that your questions are answered, but also to educate you on your mouth, answer questions about whats going on and the why for why you should take care of your mouth a certain way. Also, the functional practice aspect is great since the concern is your overall health and not just slapping a bandaid or some pharmaceutical patch on the symptom, but instead dealing with any underlying causes or issues so that overall health is actually improved for the long-term. I have two implants, one of which came loose last year. Dr. Tevis-Poteet was able to research the original oral maxillofacial surgeon (now deceased) and work from there to determine the brand (which is over 25 years old - way before digital record keeping) and tools needed to fix my smile! It’s a great thing when you look forward to visiting the dentist, as she and her excellent staff have consistently made me feel valued as a patient. We just moved over to Dr Poteet because our other dentist retired. She sees myself and my three children. Her staff is very professional and very sweet with my children. The staff has offered helpful suggestions for healthier teeth, gums and mouth care. They are thorough with screenings and overall health of mouth care. The office is up to date and send out electronic paperwork and reminders. The location is ideal for my busy family. I have recently had to have a crown on and it was a easy process. They made sure my mouth guard fit on the new tooth as well. All in all it has been a pleasant transition.

My wife, Gail, and I have been patients of Dr. Sarahs for many years. We are treated like family when we visit. The dental work is excellent and fairly priced. The entire staff is wonderful and I actually enjoy going to the dentist.I recently underwent a whitening program to overcome stains caused by an antibiotic, tetracycline, my mother took when she was carrying me.I tried all kinds of whitening programs and none could touch the stain. The program Dr. Sarah prescribed gave me incredible results. My teeth are now white and I feel like I can actually smile at people and feel good about it. It actually boosted my self esteem. After the first treatment my wife could not believe the difference. All she could say was, Wow!I would highly recommend this program if you have the same issue. It works!!!!!

But even then they take care of you and make sure you are as comfortable as possible. I recently was in Dallas for a business trip and while there, I had a terrible outbreak of cold sores. Due to the the severity of them and their awful appearance, I came across information about Dr. Poteets office and a service that they offered specifically for treating cold sores. I reached out to their office and was assisted by Michelle, who was absolutely terrific! She was able to squeeze me in with an appointment that same day, which I greatly appreciated. Once I arrived at the office, another staff member (Kerry) helped me check in and she was also extremely professional and friendly. I did not wait long at all and was taken back to begin the procedure with Dr. Poteet. She introduced herself and explained how the process would work. It was quick and effective as well! All team members made me feel welcomed and comfortable during the visit. I left the office with a prescription that would further aid the healing and noticed that the procedure did reduce the uncomfortable aspect of these sores as well. I do not live in Dallas, but if I were to move, I would certainly choose this office for all of my dental needs/services. They are awesome!

I came to Dr. Poteet because I had been unhappy with the color of my teeth due to a tetracycline stain in my youth. The Kor procedure specifically claimed the procedure could improve the color of my teeth substantially. So, I proceeded with the recommended 4 week initial whitening. I came in for the 1st check up and my, what a substantial difference from my first visit. I now feel more comfortable in my smile as well as wearing darker lipstick to show off my beautiful teeth!!
