I was with Apac for 12 yrs. I have had a few doctors that I loved, did not have one problem with ANY doctor but Dr. Chang. My doctor left, and I was lucky enough to get this arrogant, mean, rude man that literally yelled at me in the middle of a procedure (amongst many other violations of his practice that everyone at the office ignores) to stop jumping WHILE half knocked out, him screaming that he will stop the procedure if I dont quit crying bc he would not allow the anesthesiologist permission to give me more meds as he was going into my injured spine that has severe damage with rods, screws and a plate. He was the most prideful so called professional I have ever met. Clearly I am not his only victim. Read the reviews!! When I went to the office manager about it who was always so kind, she was just willing to let me leave after 12 yrs... now I know why! He holds the management doctors position. Hopefully the state medical board will get a hold of this doctors abuse of position and cut him off. Half of their clientele would return!.

Ive had a few procedures at APAC Surgical Center over the past year and the entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and more than willing to take whatever time is necessary to answer any and every question presented to them. The schedule is tight, though, so procedures scheduled later can feel a bit hurried during the prep stage. I would recommend APAC as a clean, professional, competent place for a patient to choose. I would suggest scheduling as early as possible, especially if the patient is concerned about experiencing anxiety or nervousness ahead of time. They do have a busy schedule so moving patients through as quickly as safely possible is good for everyone, but the medical staff is also incredibly vigilant when it comes to patient safety.

He refused to issue any pain medication, which I was on for years. Gave me point injections, when he hit the nerve for my left leg, I screamed stop. This did nothing but make it worse.went to my next appointment and got his assistant. That was 2 weeks ago. They were supposed to schedule epidural. 2 weeks later and no call. All Chang wants is to do procedures and charge insurance. He has compassion or empathy, be smart dont see this guy. Quack quack.

Dr Chung is rude yells at patients. From day one he wanted to do surgery without any testing. You can wait all day there just to be seen. Dr stopped seeing me because I got a second opinion.

First doc was Dr. Harris. Loved her! She took time with both me and my mother. Anthony was her nurse. Love Anthony!! Next doc was Vallapini (dr. V) not as happy. He is gone as of dec 2018. Looking forward to our new doc Chang. Hope he is as nice and considerate, for both me and my mothers needs.Anthony is gone! New doctor sucks! Wait time is epic! Do not come here!

Wish I could give a 0 score , had an appointment for which I arrived early to fill out paperwork. Sat for 2 hours past my appointment , was never spoken to not even to let me know they were running behind. I overheard some people who were ahead of me say they had been told they were running an hour behind and when i spoke to the the front office receptionist telling her I no longer wanted to be seen and asked for a refund on my copay stating I would have liked to be told they were running behind not only was she rude but lied straight to my face, told me she didnt know they were running behind when she checked me in. Unfortunately the people ahead of me that i overheard had veen there before i even walked in. Shame on them. I d rather be in pain then ever go back there.

First off let me begin by saying that I have been a nurse over 25 years. In the past 22 years I have herniated my lumbar region five times. I used this Apac Clinic in the past for injections saw Dr. Timothy King who was awesome and compassionate. . Four years ago I had a spinal fusion and periodically have back strains but nothing significant. This is usually been able to get under control with Motrin muscle relaxers heat and rest for a few days and occasionally stronger pain medications as needed again only for a few days.At the end of this past January I had an episode which did not get better after a week so I went to my local ER and found that I had herniated my lumbar region once again and also a new tear in a disc. I made an appointment with my spine surgeon who recommended an MRI and suggested coming back here and seeing a different doctor. Thank God my doctor prescribed me some pain medication to get me through until I could see this physician & start my physical therapy. This new doctor refused to refill any pain medication. Stating we do not treat chronic back pain. With all of my professionalism I pulled out my old MRI from 4 years ago vs the new one. I also explained to him that I had purchased a tens unit for muscle spasms that I have been paying out-of-pocket to see a massage therapist and have been going to physical therapy twice a week for the past two weeks and also doing physical therapy at home. I also explained that I have been able to taper back the pain medication but I cannot function and do daily normal activities without some type of pain medication I’m not there yet.He then stated to stop taking the muscle relaxer’s and just take Motrin after I just got done telling him the Motrin is tearing up my stomach I have had to start taking Pepcid twice a day along with Zofran for nausea. I asked him how am I supposed to get through the next four weeks of physical therapy and these injections without some type of stronger pain medication. I was basically told he would not give me anything and the nurse would be in with my discharge paperwork and to set up for the injections.Honestly I do not know what has happened to this clinic this is not how I was treated the last two times I was there I am going to look for another place to receive my care and I would invite anybody to stay away from this place
