He listens, he’s patient, and he is very thorough and thoughtful. When I have visited him I was in a great deal of pain and he did everything he could to put me at ease. I admit I wasn’t the best patient but he WAS the best doctor.

I am so blessed to have been referred to Dr Ruter! My healing process has just begun but he is the first Dr to actually hear my complaints and not just brush me off as a chronic complainer. I do have RA, Osteoarthritis and Fibromyalgia but have noticed extreme changes significantly in both feet and ankles to the point of severe pain causing my mobility to be limited. For many months I have been in tears with other Doctors asking for help just to be told to take NSAIDS, and do physical therapy.Dr Ruter was set since my first appointment on helping me figure out what is causing my problem. After evaluation of what needed to be done to confirm my ongoing pain, an MRI showed that I have severe tendonitis. Already, I have noticed some improvement from the treatment plan hes started me on.Also, I was very impressed that he actually took time to consult with my RA Dr as well so my treatment is on point. I know its going take time and patience but I amlooking forward to getting my feet back on track!THANK YOU SO MUCH DR RUTERFOR CARING!

I came to Dr Ruter for a second opinion on a previous foot surgery. It has already been months, and I was seeing no improvement. Dr Ruter was amazing! I went to him being scared and nervous not knowing if I could run or be as active again. I was in enormous amounts and constant pain. After Dr Ruter discussed all of my options with me through multiple visits, the decision for another surgery was made. Recovery was short and little to no pain/soreness after surgery! Now, 2 months post surgery, I am PAIN FREE. All due to Dr Ruter and his staff! Amazing podiatrist, very informative and has an amazing staff!

I am a type 1 diabetic of 50 years. Have been traveling across the country and returned to Northwest Indiana to spend the summer. I was raised here. Im a left below knee amputee from a motorcycle accident and peripheral arterial disease. Dr Ruter and his staff have been very very helpful and gave me excellent care to heal a toe wound on my right foot. We were very close to having to remove my middle toe, but with great care the wound has healed. I am very thankful for this outcome. Hopefully, the new orthotic will be the only thing thats needed. I am a very active 61-year-old man. Very thankful that he wanted to see if we could get it healed instead of just jumping to an amputation. Would definitely recommend Dr Ruter!!

I could not be more happy with this surgeon! I was very nervous about surgery and what to expect after, but he immediately put me at ease and reassured me he was going to do the best possible job, and he definitely did! Him and his team took such great care of me and I am so grateful for them!

Dr. Ruter is one of the most AWESOME EXTRAORDINARY human being I have met, my 12 year old is petrified of needles... She had to get her toe numbed with 2 needles at that, and Dr. Ruter was able to calm her down, walk her through it and even made her laugh!!! She felt comfortable with him and thats all that mattered to me. I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. RUTER to EVERYONE ANY DAY!

Felt completely at home. Dr. Ruter and staff is very safe and professional! I would definitely refer them for any major surgery. I broke my ankle and foot in 5 places after falling 15+ feet off of a ladder. 2 surgeries and 4 screws later, Im healing just fine. They are my favorite people! Love Dr. Ruter and his staff. S/N....
