I called at the end of March for my two year old who was hiving up every time he went out in the cold, they gave me an appointment for two weeks out, no problem. But when we went in, they proceeded to tell me that we had to come back again in a week and not give him any allergy medicine for the week. So I pretty much went in and was billed $200 for them to tell me to come back in a week for the testing. Then when I got a bill after paying $270 for the testing, they deemed him a complex patient on the VERY first visit, when all we did was talk to Dr. Blumenthal for maybe 7 minutes. I am very unhappy with how the office in crown point is handled and thats the reason I cancelled the check up appointment and will never be going back to ANY of the offices.

My Insurance put the cost towards my deductable, so I owed a bill of 56.00. The office called me at the end of August to ask for payment I get paid every 2 weeks so I asked if I could call back the following Friday to make a payment, my mother in law passed on September 2 who I was very close with, so with everything going on with that i forgot to call and make the payment. The lady calls me on the 29th and I apologize and explain everything going on and ask if I can pay half and the other half in 2 weeks and she rudely says are you really going to pay it. Im like yeah. Sorry that I had to pay for funeral services and Im a little low. Very inconsiderate. I will not being going back.

I finally went to the allergist my dr referred me to, & I left in tears. My appt was at 3:30, & I got there 20-30 mins early for the paperwork. I told the receptionist & nurse several times that if Im not done by 4:15pm, Id need to reschedule, because my son had a game. They said it was fine, at least the paperwork would be out of the way. So, 4:15 came, & I said I had to go. The nurse said the dr will be in my room in 2 mins, & to please wait. When 4:30 came, I opened the door to leave, & in walks the dr. I said Im sorry, I have to go, & I need to reschedule. He said I cant reschedule. Either I see him now, or not at all. I said but I cant stay, I waited over an hour & I told the girls ahead of time Id have to leave by a certain time, & they said it was fine! As soon as I said I couldnt stay, he walked out of my room, & as Im trying to talk to him, he walks into another room, & closes the door on me. The receptionist apologizes profusely, because I had burst into tears at this point, & I told her he can expect me to file a complaint with as many people as possible. I did NOT deserve to be treated that way, & he did that in front of my 15 month old daughter.

Terrible! Told me to double my allergy meds! Went to another allergy doctor who did a ct scan. I had a cyst in my maxillary sinus. I have good insurance. What a waste of my time.
