I ARRIVED 10 MINUTES PRIOR TO MY 11:20 APPOINTMENT. AT 11:20 I WAS GREETED AND ESCORTED IN. THE NEW LAZER TREATMENT TO PREVENT BACTERIA FROM ENTERING THE BLOODSTREAM WAS EXPLAINED TO ME AND I DECIDED TO HAVE IT DONE. IT WAS A PAINLESS PROCESS. MY TEETH WERE CLEANED BY THE HYGENIST, THEN EXAMINED BY THE DENTIST. I WAS WALKING OUT OF THE OFFICE IN UNDER AN HOUR. IT WAS A VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND WADAS DENTISTRY TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

I have always liked and felt comfortable at this facility. Especially because I love my dental hygienist, Vicky. This time I had to have a cavity filled and I was extremely nervous, but the doctor and the assistant were very kind to me and reassured me I would be ok. The assistant even let me hold her hand for the injection that I was so nervous for. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience with all of this. Thankful I was dealing with people who took the time to make sure I was comfortable.

A great dentist and staff. Everyone is great. I never have to wait, and they go above and beyond.

Scheduling issues. Billing issues. The dentist has a bed side manner of a mop. I’ve been told for over two years that they will call me to schedule a procedure. They never call. When I call, they act like they have no idea what I’m talking about.

Dental hygienist Vicky ,most conscientious, observant and caring person imaginable! She noticed a lesion on my ear that turned out to be skin cancer.

Very friendly and professional. They took the time to make sure I understood everything that needed to be done including all the details of next steps. Extremely pleased with the service!

I love this dentist office!! I was one of those who feared the dentist for years, but coming to Wadas has been one of the best decisions of my life. The staff is amazing!! Everyone makes me feel comfortable and relaxed. No worries about pain or discomfort and everyone is so friendly and nice. Two thumbs up!!!!

The office was clean. The staff was more courteous than other dental offices that I have been too. The staff in fact, was more courteous than their other sister office in Munster. I was given Quick Service, in and out. And they listened very closely to my concerns and fears of the dental procedure I was receiving. I only wish they had better hours. No Saturdays and no evenings.

I had a wonderful experience at Wadas today. It started with Jen who explained everything to me (It was my first visit here) and then Stacey did an awesome job with the cleaning. Dr. Garbe came in and explained what we needed to get done with my teeth in the future etc and I was on my way. Everyone was really respectful and super nice. Even though it was my first time at Wadas everyone made me feel so comfortable I felt like Ive been a patient for years!

Dr. Jeff Garbe DDS is awesome. I havent been to the dentist in awhile my experience at Wadas Dental in Crown Point was very pleasant. His Assistant is awesome as well. This will be my place for all my dental work.

Great dental office. Vicky is absolutely a wonderful dental hygienist. She is kind, considerate, patient, and gentle. Vicky takes care of my 5 year old son like he is family. After moving away, I travel 80 miles to still keep Vicky as our hygienist, she is worth it! Carla at the front desk is fabulous, too! She is easy to talk to and always happy to help with your scheduling needs or payments! I do not have dental insurance and the DentRite discount plan they offer, allows me to get mine and my my sons dental cleaning, x-rays, and fluoride treatments done every 6 months without any financial worry!

We are giving 5 stars only because there isnt the option for 10, 20, or more stars!!We are from the Pittsburgh area and are in Crown Point visiting family. One of my husbands fillings fell out on Friday evening, leaving a jagged tooth that was causing irritation and pain on his tongue. It was a bad weekend!!. We asked our young teenage grandson if he knew a dentist... he immediately recommended your practice, saying they are really nice there.Of course we had to wait until today ( Monday) to contact the office, expecting a not so good response. I used the office online chat system, chatting with Maggie. After explaining the situation to her, she said she would check what was available. I fully expected to be told hubby couldnt be seen until Tuesday or Wednesday.To our amazement, she offered two appointments today 1030am or a 1pm !!!!The staff was WONDERFUL!! We were greeted as though we were long time patients. He was seen, earlier than his appointment time, had x-rays and treatment , and we were actually on our way out the door at the time he was to be seen.From prior experiences, we fully expected outrageous charges. We were TOTALLY shocked by the extreme leniency in the charges !!! Additionally, we left with copies of the x-rays to take to our dentist.We certainly can recommend the Wadas Dental of Crown Point . The staff is so friendly, making for a relaxed environment. Sure do wish you had an office back home in Pittsburgh !!THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH !!!

They helped me smile again! The care they give you is amazing ! The most important thing is my daughter loves going there and shes only 8 .If you dont like dentist like I did you really need to try them because I felt that way before and now they have me hooked.

Had my first appointment on Monday. All my anxiety was for nothing, I wish I had found them sooner. Everyone I met there was very warm and welcoming. The assistant that worked with me, Kristina, couldnt have been more helpful. Dr.G made me feel completely comfortable from our first handshake. The entire team (sorry I dont remember everyones name) works so well together. The Dr.set out a clear plan for me and I also had my first visit with my hygienist Stacey. She is so patient and kind. Hard to believe Im saying this, I have a few visit to get my smile back, but Im actually looking forward to working with this wonderful team!

My wife started work with this office in February 2017 with the intention of having a top plate made promptly and she finally got her top plate delivered today March 6, 2018. After many attempts for them to get it right and blaming it on the lab and switching labs etc its its finally consummated! A few times the office cancelled her appointment as well and the appointments that she could make were way too far apart! I dont think theres anything they could do worse at this office! They made sure they had all their money up front or they would not proceed. We dont think it was fair that they charged us many co-pays due to their incompetence! BOO!!! Never going back!

I had a appointment today that I was worried about because I needed a tooth pulled. I thought that the shots would be painful and removing the tooth would be difficult. Jessica took care of me and made me feel comfortable and Dr. Garbe had my tooth pulled before I knew it! It was painless! Thumbs up for the Wadas family. Thank you! DON’T GO HERE!! First time experience was terrible! I left work early to make a 4:00 appointment because they wanted me there by 3:30. After a 30 minute trip there, I was not allowed to see the dentist because I did not have my insurance card with me. I informed her that I had not received an insurance card yet, even though I had requested one over 2 weeks ago. The “lady” at the desk asked me if I had the phone number and billing address of the insurance company with me, as though that is information someone typically carries around with them. When I told her I did not, I also told her that I was able to locate this information by doing a Google search. She told me there are thousands of Delta Dentals. If that is the case, why was I successful on my first attempt calling their 1-800 number that I found on Google? She told me I should use my phone to look up the number. Why? She was the one sitting at a computer! I told her I don’t have a phone that accesses the internet. So she just kept repeating that there are thousands of Delta Dental numbers, as though I were suddenly going to be able to produce the information she requested. It is not hard to locate this information if one is so inclined, especially when they are sitting in front of a computer like she was. Rather than offer me some assistance, all I got was attitude. I ended up leaving the place in a hurry. Don’t bother posting a rebuttal with your defense either. I’m not interested, as I WILL NEVER BE BACK! There are plenty of dentists to choose from, especially ones who have a more welcoming front desk staff who are actually willing to assist patients with the billing process.

Paid for partial work upfront. Got partial it was crooked and dont support well being that they cut the hook off the left side leaving partial slanted. Later got a bill in mail for over $400 they claim insurance wouldnt pay. I received my invoice and paid my part. Called insurance company and they said they were overcharging items. Go some where else.

I recently had a tooth pulled and was a little nervous to have a cleaning, however Stacy was very gentle and answered all of my questions making me feel very relaxed.

The absolute worst in customer service. A patient for several years. I have had uncomfortable and messy cleanings. A hygenist who refused my 5 year old when all he wanted was an explanation of what tool was being used. He was not crying and we were escorted out. Billing the wrong insurance company over and over. You get a different doctor at each cleaning. Some are helpful and others not so much. Dont bother and save yourself the headache.

Dr. Blaser is fantastic with children! Very gentle and caring. My niece had 2 extractions done for orthodontic purposes and Dr. Blaser made the experience much easier for her. I have been in the dental field for over 22 years and I was very impressed!

From April 2012 I had been going there to get a bridge for my teeth. I should have listened to my original Dentist and just get an implant for my FRONT tooth I lost in an accident.I was so unlucky to walk into the Crown Point Office, where a supposed Dentist, Dr Negrelli, promised that he would make me a perfect bridge.For 2 years I was wearing the temporary teeth made of plastic until they disingrated in my mouth. After almost 3 years he made a bridge that did not fit, was way too big for my mouth, and each time he would go out to smoke he never washed his hands, just the disgusting smell from him would kill me.My gums swelled up so much I could not sleep, drink or eat, it just looked horrible.Dr Colitz took over, and from 2012 to now my teeth still are not fixed. I went to Doctor Sertich, Doctor Annette Williams, Doctor Cooper, ( He mostly works in Munster).....all 3 of them could be world class Dentists. I paid for my bridge. As of today I am still walking with teeth that Dr. Colitz dropped and are chipped, he told me to wear them as temporary teeth. When he was taking out the teeth that Dr. Negrelli, who on his Facebook could not say enough bad things about this place, instead of blaming himself, when I went back to what was supposed to be a try on for my new bridge that they took impressions, brought it back for me to see before finishing, it looked just like the one I am wearing now but 10 times worse. Some woman that I had never seen before walked in the room, and after I asked her happily, as my bridge here? She turned around in the rudest voice possible and told me, you are NOT getting a new bridge, you have one already. I told her crying what are you talking about this one is chipped and not even permanently glued, Dr. Colitz told me to wear it until my new one is ready.Well here it is 2019 and I am still wearing a chipped bridge that I have to glue on with Fixadent, I cry myself to sleep, I dont go out anywhere, and this has turned into a total nightmare. I have lost teeth that Dr. Colitz knocked the filling out of, never replaced it, after I begged him he kept putting temporary filling.I dont know what to do anymore. No one should be treated this way. My cousin from New York while here filed a complaint, all I want are my teeth fixed, and since no one will touch my teeth, I want my money back. This is not fair to let a human being suffer this way because two dentists were incompetent and negligent.Someone please help me. I have lost so many teeth now, at least I want my money back so I can go and get my missing teeth fixed.

Horrible service. What I thought was going to be a good place to see a dentist, has turned out to be a nightmare. They were able to get me in the same day, yay!!! Filled out all the paperwork. Hygienist comes in, looks over the paperwork, asks me questions, does the x-rays. The dentist comes in, tells me I need a root canal. They need to verify my insurance, they were having trouble verifying coverage. Then they write me a prescription for an antibiotic and pain pills. I look at the pain pill prescription, they wrote it for something I am allergic to, which it clearly states on the paperwork I filled out, and I also let the hygienist know when I am talking to her in the beginning. She goes back to the dentist tells him I am allergic, then comes back, and says the dentist said to take the antibiotic that should help relieve the pain and keep continuing to taking OTC Tylenol. OTC does not help with the pain. Here I am, four days later, three voicemails already left this morning, begging someone to call me back. No phone call and its now 2 in the afternoon. I am in the most unbearable pain. Contacted my dental insurance, no dentist offiice has even submitted or called to verify I have coverage. No thank you!!! Thank goodness, I was able to call another dentist this afternoon, and they were able to schedule me for a root canal tomorrow afternoon.

I am very disappointed in the office staff at this location. Unfortunately the dentist and the hygienists were great but due to the rudeness of your office staff and office manager we will definitely not be returning. The first visit to this office started with Michelle being rude in regards to our insurance. She was demeaning and very aloof. She acted as though we weren’t as good as her. Really actually laughable how she behaved. I assumed it was a one off and because I loved the hygienist I tried to blow it off. I then encountered another office member who called me early in the morning about an upcoming appointment who was also rude, argumentative and demeaning over the phone. That experience was than followed up with another terrible experience with Michelle who said she was trying to fix my “issue” and that I was being rude to her. I had no issue. The issue was on their office. She also felt it necessary to point out that the dentist did something wrong and it was his fault the rude girl had called me in the morning. When I told her I thought that was inappropriate she told me I was being rude and defensive but in all actuality wasn’t it her being defensive and unprofessional? It’s pretty obvious the issue in your office staff is Michelle. She’s training your other “assistants” to be rude and combative with your customers. A bit of advice would be to stop talking and arguing with the customer and just let them speak, don’t interrupt and make sure you apologize. Don’t tell them they are wrong, the dentist is wrong and you are all knowing. You are losing business for that office Michelle. We are a family of 5 and I will be sure to let everyone I can know about the rudeness of your staff. Really a shame because I loved the dentist and the hygenist, but if you chose to allow someone like that to run your office, I can’t trust that you know how to take care of our family.

Got my dental implant here and at the Munster office, and it’s working out great!

I go in and get cleaned. Doctor (I dont remember their names) says I need some fillings. I ask if I can do my top right mollars. I need 3 there. I go in about a week later to get them filled.A different doctor than who I had seen is filling them. He comes in and numbs me up. Leaves for 15 mins. Drills for a few mins. Leaves for 20 mins. Comes back. Drills leaves comes back repeat. It took about 2 hours to get 2 fillings. I understand they were busy and Im patient so I wasnt too upset. This was just frustrating. Then the doctor says hes only doing 2 fillings cause the other one needs more work No specificsI thought this meant he didnt have time to do it that day. Within two weeks my teeth start killing me theyre hurting so bad. I think it must be that tooth that needed more work but I have an appointment set up so I just wait.I go in to the dentist and they tell me that suddenly I need a root canal! Thats not more work thats a ROOT CANAL. I was very strapped for cash and in a lot of pain. I could not afford it and I needed to get it out. I told them I wanted it extracted. The assistant says she will ask the doctor if he will do it. And he says its fine. Relieved, I make ANOTHER appointment to get this tooth removed. But suddenly now Im having unbearable pain on one of the teeth that the doc had filled. Im not sure why or whats wrong but Im going to ask when I go back. Well the day before the extraction they call and say suddenly they dont do extractions there. And if I got the root canal I could come in tomorrow, otherwise I will have to go somewhere else to get it pulled. I tell the lady on the phone that I am having a lot of pain in a different tooth now and still want to come in for him to look at it.I go back in to get the tooth checked. (Mind you i lived in Valparaiso about 40 mins away so I was driving back and forth almost every other week) I try to describe to him whenever I drink cold water or anything cold, if it touches this tooth, I get an unbearable pain and have to writhe my teeth for at least 30 seconds before it goes away.He looks at it. Says no its just pain from the tooth that needs the root canal Im telling him please look because I had zero pain before I got any fillings here a few weeks ago. He looks and says I have a high bite. So he uses a drill WITH WATER on my SENESITIVE PAINED tooth to fix my high bite Im nearly crying but he must know best.They give me a referral to the oral surgery group in crown point. I ask if I can use the referral to go anywhere in my network. They say yes. I want to go somewhere closer. After checking with my insurance they say I can go to aspen dental to get this tooth pulled. But the Aspen desk people say I need a specific insurance referral form from my current dentistI call Wadas Dental and tell them I need this form. The phone call with a lady at the office goes something like this:Hi I need a tooth pulled and you guys cant do it and the place Im going says I need an insurance referral formWhat is the office youre going to?Aspen dentalTheyre not in your network. So we arent going to send that over.I already talked to my insurance they said I can. Please send the formI dont know why they would say that. Its not in your network.I call my dad and tell him what they say. He calls and the same lady says Oh I told her I couldnt do it today I said I would do it and send it tomorrow she literally lied for no reason?? Got the tooth out.Fast forward 2 months. Still cant drink cold stuff. Having unbearable pain all the time now. I go to emergency dentist. The tooth that was hurting from radiating pain had an infection. I had to get it removed and spend $420 because I lost dental insurance in this time frame. Had the doctor actually looked maybe I could have had them both removed at once and not have to spend $420 that I dont have. So thanks for that Wadas 👌 Not listening, causing me pain, costing me money, and having a liar for an employee. Great business.
