This is an update to my original one star review. My phone experience was less than satisfactory from the front desk staff and as a result, I was asked in the reply comment to contact the manager and discuss my concerns. I figured if they were willing to acknowledge my comment, that is the mark of a professional who cares about their potential customer. They assured me that my initial experience was not common and so I made an appointment for my mother and was met with a completely different interaction. I was absolutely pleased with the communication of Shauna and Paige as well as the the overall experience prior to and while at the office. Dr. Spittler appeared to be very knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions. She gave my mother a thorough exam and my mother enjoyed her experience as well. I can now say that I would recommend Dr. Spittlers business as your eye care experts and will be making an appointment soon myself.

Dr. Spittler addressed a terrible experience I had with another doctor. I appreciate the fact that she called me and attempted to help me find another physician for my daughters. I erroneously placed a negative review under her name and she graciously handled the situation like a real professional. Dr. Spittler listened and responded to me even though she did nothing wrong. I would recommend her. I regret that my daughters are too young to see her at this time.

Dr. Splitter is the best! The whole staff is so sweet and welcoming.

I called this office early one morning concerned with an eye issue that had just started and they got me right in for an appointment. The appointment was really good experience and I will definitely recommend Dr. Spitler and her staff, and use them for my future eye needs. Thank you all!

Dr. Spittler and her staff are wonderful. I phoned late on Friday afternoon and had an appt. for the next day. Her staff is very efficient from check-in to check-out. They are professional and friendly. I appreciate that Dr. Spittler listens and adjusts based on your needs. Excellent experience!

Not happy that I was prescribed Brand Specific contact lenses, meaning that I can ONLY get that particular brand of contacts and nothing else. Nothing wrong with eyes, nothing abnormal about my vision but the Dr. kept pushing for the high-end contacts. I feel I could see better with a stronger prescription but now Ill have to wait a year to have my insurance cover another exam for contacts my previous doctor prescribed a bit stronger. Overall welcoming atmosphere and convenience of being just off post but I will not be going there again.

Not kid friendly. Very impatient. I hope my kids actually need glasses the way she was rushing them to respond. The first girl was nice but the doctor herself... Never again!! DO NOT BRING KIDS HERE!!

Dr. Spittler was very knowledgeable and professional. I have seen her on multiple occasions and would highly recommend her. She took her time with my exam and made sure to answer all of my questions. I have seen other optometrists in the past but none were as thorough as Dr. Spittler was.

MRS SAVANNAH WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND MRS SHONDA WAS VERY HELPFUL AND WAS ABLE TO ANSWER ALL OPEN ENDED QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS I HAD...FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT AND WELL RECOMMENDED :)

Ive been going here since I was in elementary school and now my oldest daughter is a client here....I wouldnt have it any other way. Dr. Spittler is by far the kindest, sweetest, on point eye doctor in Columbia.

The ladies at this office were so friendly & kind.They treated my kids so lovingly & even played with my restless 2 y/o daughter while I finished my extensive exam as my vision is horrible. Lol

Ive been going her for 7 years now and the service is amazing and the glasses are affordable. Dr. Spittler always takes time to address your concerns and is very friendly.

Drs. Spittler and Seibert are by far the best in the eye care field. Having worked with them both I have seem their precision and excellent patient care time and time again. I would recommend them both to anyone. Dr. Spittler excels with the older patients and Dr. Seibert is residency trained in pediatrics demonstrating the practices well-rounded nature. I cannot recommend them enough!

Walmart-Focus Eye Care is a well-kept secret. Their clinic is every bit as good, for eye exams and prescriptions, as some of the dedicated eye clinics in town (e.g. Columbia Eye Clinic). Dr. Spittler is first-class in this regard.
