Dr. Abdo is an Amazing doctor. She genuinely cares about the well being of her patients.

Couldn’t have asked for a better doctor, Dr. Adbo is one of a kind. Knowledge, kind, and truly cares for her patients. So glad I have found a doctor who genuinely wants the best for her patients.

My first visit to Dr. Abdo, I thought she was wonderful. I was very excited to find a primary care doctor that appeared to care and made me feel welcome. This feeling quickly ended when I realized that she was taking advantage of me. I went in to “establish care” which I was advised would be separate from my physical. Okay, fine. I was having problems when I went in for my establishing care appointment and was sent for blood work and a thyroid ultrasound. When the results for my ultrasound came back two days after my initial appt, she called me into the office to tell me I needed a biopsy and proceeded to bill me for a full visit, despite having been there two days prior and despite the fact that I was there for ten minutes, strictly for her to tell me I just needed to see an endocrinologist. When part of my blood work came back (not my full blood work but just related to my thyroid) - she had me come back into the office (this is all within a week of each other - 3 visits) and all she did was sit me down and tell me I have an autoimmune disease and that she could give me no further information and id have to see an endocrinologist. When I cried she told me to be happy I’m pretty and successful and it could be worse because it could be cancer. Keeping in mind I haven’t had my biopsy yet so I could still have cancer! She proceeded to tell me how her son died and how she has to live with that everyday, completely minimizing my feelings about being diagnosed with a lifelong disease. Then she said to me that I’d have to come back on Monday (this was a Friday) when my blood work came in to have my physical done. At this point I told her I couldn’t afford any more appointments because she had billed me three times in one week and I had paid three co pays as well! She told me I HAD to come back to discuss my labs and that the physical would be all it was billed as so I shouldn’t be charged again. I never went back. I checked my medical records and my insurance and called her to confirm. It turns out, she fraudulently charged my for my annual physical despite the fact that I never went back for it!!!! She told me I can get a new doctor and I am absolutely going to do so. She also tried to repeatedly tell me she stayed late to talk to me for that last visit when no one asked her to do that. It could have easily been a 5 min phone call. If you want to be taken advantage of and billed absurd amounts for things that weren’t done or 5 min conversations, then this is the doctor for you!Edit: after she told me more than three times I didn’t have cancer - I actually do have thyroid cancer.

Cheats and dishonest people. Dr. Abdo might be a good doctor, but her billing practices are dishonest and awful. My daughter went for the TB test then the reading. The reading, which is essentially checking on her skin to see the result of the test, was billed as a level 4 medical visit and the office billed my daughter around $140 for that. Even the front desk lady said she has been working in medical offices for 30 years and never saw something like that. They even turned away my wife from her emergency visit saying my daughter owes that money and that they cant see my wife till she pays. They always do this you have to come in to read the labs report, it is only so that they can bill for another visit.Disgusting.

DR suzan is very helpful and great!But unfortunately her team is awful!!!!!!!Dont go there and lose your respect! You deserve to be treated good!!!

The front desk and the billing department are both so rude! They talk in a very bad way and yell at the phone!The billng department charges you for anything and everything, charges stuff you dont even know!And when you call her she talks in a very disrespectful way!!!!! And they never give you a call back! They never care about their patients!But DR suzan is very helpful and great!But unfortunately her team is awful!!!!!!!Dont go there and lose your respect! Dr. Abdo is an outstanding doctor. Her diagnostic skills are superb. She is extremely professional and caring. We trust her implicitly and have for many years.

Dr. Abdo was my primary care for over 10 years. She is amazingly caring, observant, ready to fix what she can and willing to refer when appropriate. She consistently gave me great referrals whenever i needed one. I recently moved to another state and cried when i had to say goodbye during my outgoing appointment with her.

I was charged for a sick visit and a preventative visit ON THE SAME DAY. Billing told me they can do that and she wasnt in the room and doesnt know what to tell me. I am really disappointed considering a preventative visit is covered by my insurance and a random sick visit on the same day is (obviously) not. I received a 90 dollar bill from Quest for lab work that was not requested and will not be returning.

I contacted the doctors office to speak with a nurse and the Medical Assistant, Bobbi, stated that she was the nurse. Once I advised Bobbi that Dr. Abdo requested that I complete labs prior to being seen she became very defensive and rude (I guess because she didnt want to send me the order). I was placed on hold three times while she serviced other patients, she began speaking about me to her colleague as if I was not on the line, then she stated they were too busy to talk to me, so they had to get off the phone.-- I literally had to blink my eyes twice, as if I were dreaming. Dr. Abdo called me back which was appreciated; however, she was just as rude! Dr. Abdo mentioned that she would be out of the country for a very long time; therefore, she suggest I see another primary care physician. -- Not a problem! I will be more than happy to have another physician service me.Mind you, I only see a doctor once a year for my annual physical, nothing more. So, receiving this level of service from such a small practice is beyond me.

The office staff is simply amazing. They actually answer the phone and return phone calls. VERY PERSONABLE and understanding. Smiles everywhere, Dr. Abdo actually came into the waiting area to interact with whomever was waiting patiently. There isnt a long one month wait before needing to be seen or for an appointment. I can go on and on about the staff however you need to experience for yourself. Its sad that customer service is failing in all areas of society, not in this office. Kudos to Lena and LaTanya.

She will save your life! If youre looking for a private doctor that gives you individualized care, she is the one for you! Absolutely love her!

If you are looking for a compassionate doctor who truly does all she can to address health issues...go to Dr. Abdo. I absolutely love her and the people who work for her. Just wonderful people. Its the little things she does. For example, although I didnt need it, she worked her magic to find the most cost effective way to assist my medication costs (some were really pricey)...no other doctor has done for me. They write the prescription and you have to figure it out. She saved my life and I cant speak highly enough about Dr. Abdo.

I absolutely love the staff and Dr. Abdo. Never before have i had anyDoctors office treat me so well. Thank you for everything.

She is the best! We love her and have moved to Delaware and still come back to her for our care.

Dr.Susan Abdo is one of the most caring,attentive and detailed doctor I have ever visited.She makes you feel like what ever your problem is she will make it right.Shes one of the best primary care physicians in this area.

Great doctor that takes her time with patients and explains all options

Weve had billing issues with this doctors office emanating from a routine visit which was billed incorrectly when submitted to the insurance. The doctors office has been very unprofessional and uncaring in handling the claim. I would urge anyone to be careful when visiting the doctor, you may end up with extra charges even for a routine check-up. Their practices seem rather predatory.

I didnt even get a change to book an appointment with this doctor. I called to schedule an appointment as a new patient and the staff member who answered the phone was so rude that I decided to find a another doctor When I asked about scheduling appointment times before or after my work day she was very rude and blunt saying open at 9 am. It was a vey condescending tone when I obviously didnt know that as a new patient. Dont want to see a doctor with such rude office staff.
