Al is a great in and out kind of guy. Im not sure about the others. Rose is wonderful and not only cuts my son and my husbands hair but she cuts mine and my daughters. Her hand is good because my hair always grows faster when she cuts it.

Dude messed up a tape up! A tape up! Enough said. Went to cutn up on Decker to get it fixed. Had to get a fade to fix it. Looks great now.

I dont have 1 particular barber there that I use but Ive been going to Als for a few months now and everybody that has cut my hair there does a GREAT job! I still go every 2 weeks!

I have been going here for years. They are family friendly and very professional my personal Barber Cedric always delivers a clean and precise cut with great attention to detail. I couldnt picture myself going anywhere else.

The owner Mr Al has been cutting my hair since I was 15 years old i am now 33. All the barber and Solonist are top notch. Great atmosphere great people. Great Location.

Being new to the area & looking for a new barber for my family, Like any other patron, I googled and this place of business came up. After reading the reviews & ratings, I decided to give them a shot. So before hand I called and spoken to a woman, who so kindly answered all the questions that I needed answered. When we arrived, we were kindly greeted & asked to be seated, and someone would be with us soon. While doing that, I looked around to take in the environment. I said to myself, I could see me bring my family here again. I then seen that the price list, along with the quoted rate was what stated over the phone.... All of 15 mins of waiting(Impressive for a Saturday) the Woman, attentions us that, Barber (Mr. Unknown) was ready! Im more than happy for a 1st time experience. So I turn toward his station, reached my hand out & formally introduced myself & family. I said thank you for service and my child & I proceeded to tell him what we were getting..... After 20 mins, which was quite fast, the services were done. I was surprised, baffled, and NOT entirely satisfied. Well for starters- My childs hair cut was, I felt rushed & NOT shaped properly. , 2. Most IMPORTANTLY the barber didnt clean his clippers in between customers & DID NOT us any form of antiseptic after lining of edges., 3. I reached to give him the $15 w/tip as what was POSTED & STATED by woman over the phone, he tells me $20. I say thats for adults & my child is a minor & furthermore thats what I was quoted on the phone. He then goes to tell me that The owners are Nationalities, the business has been sold to new owners & prices went up! I said Huh?!? I wasnt told that over the phone..(Inside Im like-Quite frankly, what does that have to do with me). Now with his demeanor being indifferent & me being the Non-contentious person that I am, I said that isnt right, paid him $20 and left! Im thinking that maybe, just possibly the woman over the phone hadnt got the memo (of all of what he shared with me) or maybe this was an last minute update & the owner or manager hadnt had time to come in and change the price list posted on the wall, or MAYBE its me.... I felt some -type -of- way as a customer...Maybe, things may have been different with a different barber, or maybe its me... If so, I apologize on my behalf for not knowing. To say the least, I probably wont pay a visit to Als again...Thanks, but No thanks!

I actually really like this shop! Al is really kind and professional and will had cut my hair and my fiancé’s hair he did a phenomenal job! The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of five is because they guy with the dreads ( I don’t recall his name) but he was very unfriendly, a bit rude, he was very rough with my hair, it wasn’t the best cut I got, but I will be back, but will be asking for Will!

Please dont take your children here to receive any haircuts. An older gentleman with locs did my sons first haircut. He charged me$ 15 dollars for a 5 min,un- shape, uneven cut. His clippers were also dirty prior to cutting my sons hair. Im ashamed that I let him continue. Beware and aware of who you let cut your hair or your childrens hair.

I asked for something simple. They messed it up and then did what they wanted, not what I asked for.
