I was recommended here to see Dr. Davis after having a bad crown put on from a previous dentist. He was able to give me the look I was wanting instead of a flat piece of material I was left with. I ended up having to get a root canal due to a really bad cavity. Same tooth. He was able to get me in right away. It was pretty infected and he recommended to have the canal have antibiotics in it for a month before its filled permanently. The procedure was literally painless. Other then getting numbed up to have it done Dr. Davis and his assistant were amazing! I highly recommend him! Thank you so much!

Friendly staff that are checking how you are doing continuously. Clean facility, didn’t wait long, the only reason for 3 instead of 5 stars, my temporary crown came off 8 hours after it was glued on, on a Friday evening. Now I wait til Monday to let them know, no cold drinks for me.

After dealing with a weekend of tooth pain I call for an appointment. I’m told I’ll have to wait for two more days. Okay fine. My emergency is not everyone else’s emergency.However, being upfront and honest would’ve been huge here because what they did not tell me was that I would be “seen” for about 3 minutes to get an X-ray and I’m told I have to see a specialist (another two day wait). So now I’m dealing with pain and difficulty eating for SIX days total when my “appointment “ amounted to nothing more than an X-ray and less than 3 minutes of their time.I’m now seeing another dentist who was willing to quickly and honestly deal with me to get my issue resolved. This place didn’t even seem to care. They basically said to “deal with it” and the “dentist” left me sitting there in disbelief that this could be an actual method of “practice” for someone in the health/medical industry. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.

This was my second visit to the office, and I had recently had a cleaning done. The employees at the front desk were quite disrespectful! They initially misspelled my name on all of my documentation, despite my numerous requests for it to be amended. That was never the case. They then proceeded to call me by a different name and seemed irritated that I didnt react when they called my name. I had an appointment scheduled for 10 a.m. today, which I had agreed to, and then I got a call yesterday confirming that appointment! And the front desk insisted it was still 9:30 a.m. When I had written the time down for 10 a.m., had also confirmed with the lady over the phone (on speaker) for 10am my mother & father as my witnesses. Today, the lady at the front desk didnt greet me and already seemed to know who I was she continued to tell me that we had phoned me and that I had not answered all while giving me an attitude. She wasnt allowing me to explain that I had been driving when they were trying to call and that I had been told 10am and nothing of the 9:30 am appt. I wasnt about to waste my time anymore, just save yourself some time and money! Dont go here! The workers here are very rude and disrespectful! Also all of my concerns I had about my teeth and work I was needing done they just referred me to different offices.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Davis. He got me in right away, helped me with my issue, and was so personable and understanding. Great dentist!

I have been a very satisfied patient of Dr. Bertsch and CMDG for 15 years. Ive written another testimonial during that time. However, I received extraordinary care yesterday that I needed to write about. I had major discomfort in one of my teeth and the kind staff were able to get me an appointment at the end of the day. When Dr. Bertsch saw me at 4 PM he was as energetic as if I had been his first patient of the day. Im grateful that I could get an evaluation as quickly as I did. Thank you CMDG.

I have been a patient here for over five years and I just called because I got new insurance and the front desk person I spoke to was completely rude to me that I just hung up on her! I am so tired of people being rude and having no customer service. I will be looking for a new dentist and no longer recommended them. Not to mention a few months ago they did a root canal on my mom and they did the wrong tooth and tried to keep the amount as a credit at the office!! I have never been so disappointed or disrespected!

Not a person who normally writes reviews for places but the ridiculousness and absolutely ineptness of this dental office brought me to write a review this time.We made an appointment weeks in advance - clearly inquiring to whether insurance was accepted - received verification from this office that insurance was accepted - until the morning of the appointment when we go in they now inform us they cannot be sure whether the insurance is accepted. In the weeks leading up to the appointment no attempt was made to inform us or let us know there could be a problem - so we had to wait in the office while they attempted to figure it out of which they were incredibly unsuccessful until I was able to illustrate on the card the information they had been trying to find - after which they informed us there was no longer time to do the actual appointment and would have to come in twice - all of this occurring during COVID in the small waiting room - and in addition the staff was not even adhering to their own rules for COVID protection - people with masks pulled down/more than the REQUIRED number of people in the waiting room per THEIR OWN RULES.I would highly suggest people to avoid this dental office, not because of anything to do with the dental care but because of the staff who have incredibly limited knowledge and who handleImportant matters such as your insurance and safety during COVID. Really appalled at the lack of professionalism and knowledge of the staff. Again, this review has nothing to do with the dentists/dental care - we never got to that point

From my initial phone call to schedule an appointment, to my check-out, I knew I found the right practice! Dr. Davis and his staff are very friendly, personable, and professional. They genuinely cared about my TMJ issues, and provided the treatment that I needed. I highly recommend them!

I had a filling procedure. The staff seems happy to work there and it shows with smiles, humor and friendly service. The dental procedure was relaxed, quick and gentle. Going to the dentist is not fun, but they make it as fun as it can be.

Excellent place to have any dental work done. Staff is excellent, and Dr. Davis is the best.. They make sure your comfortable with all procedures and are very understanding. Will not go anywhere else.

I have never been treated so poorly. Dr. Davis is my regular dentist and is out of town, I had a dental emergency and was seen Wednesday and told I have a cracked tooth with an infection that needs a root canal, I am in extreme pain. I was given script for antibiotic and 12 pain pills and have an appt with Dr. Davis the following Wed. Was told the antibiotic should relieve most of the pain in a few days. Now iIs Friday and if anything the pain is worse, I called and asked if more pain meds could be prescribed to get me to my Wed appointment and/or could they give me a different antiobiotic? I was told no, I had to wait to see Dr. Davis. Or I could see their emergency dentist over the weekend, who would take xrays and evaluate what to do. So Id have to pay for a dentist appointment to take xrays that were already done and tell me what is already wrong with my tooth???!!!!! Why? Because its Friday afternoon and you dont want to be bothered???? I cant remember every being treated by a health care professional with less consideration and professionalism.

Needed 2 filling replaced and was in and out with no problems. I’m glad they are able to perform procedures during these trying times with the pandemic raging on. Very professional from front to back!,

I went into Cheyenne Mountain Dental Group for a second opinion after a previous dentist gave me an insane dental plan. I was seen by Dr. Davis who was simply incredible. He not only let me know that a majority of the work someone told me my teeth needed was not correct, but he also explained what was going on with my teeth. Not once was I oversold on anything and the whole time I felt secure and educated regarding my health and wellbeing. I have now switched my primary dentist to Dr. Davis. I cant recommend enough!!

I recently got some dental work done, including getting multiple cavities filled and a deep cleaning. Not only were the staff and Dr. Davis very helpful and punctual, but they made me feel comfortable. I would definitely go back for future cleanings and any needed dental work. Being new to Colorado Springs and finding a dentist was an easy task once I met with the staff at Cheyenne Mountain Dental Group. Having a location close to my apartment and working with my insurance helped to make my decision as well.

Been going here for as long as I can remember for dentist appointments, it is always nice to be here, and I HATE dentists. Everyone here is always so friendly and they answer every question very thoroughly; one of the dentists even let me come up close and showed me all the steps to my wifes filling and how the tools etc all worked together. Great place!

Love my dentist and my hygienist. They dont try to make up fake issues that I would have to pay for. They listen to my actual needs and concerns if I have them. I have had to do a crown and an extraction here. Both were painless and efficient. If my insurance ever changes, it would be worth it to pay out of pocket just to keep going here.

Dr Bertsch was by far the best dentist Ive ever gone to. I felt totally comfortable; he was calm, funny, and patient with me. he took time to explain what I needed and even ran off to find a model of teeth to help answer a random question I had about crowns. I thought his service mindset was so refreshing and it made me feel comfortable that he knew what he was doing and that I was in good hands. I wont go to another dentist.

We started with Cheyenne Mountain Dental in 1994. Many changes since then, but always outstanding dental care! Both my wife and I highly recommend this practice.

After a dental emergency back in December where my front teeth were knocked in from an elbow while playing soccer, I immediately called Dr. Davis who opened his doors for me at about 8pm on a Sunday night. His help as well as assistance with referring me to an orthodontist were beyond appreciated. Not only did he save me from having to get further medical attention, but he also saved me time, money, and more importantly, pain! Incredible staff and I cant thank them enough for all of their help! If you could give more than 5 stars, I would!!

Fantastic! Just moved to CO Spring and couldnt be happier with our choice in dentist. My wife and 2 children (5 & 7) all walked away with great experiences. I booked an appointment 2 weeks later. The hygienist was very personable and thorough. Dr. Davis was friendly and professional. Would recommend to anyone.

I have crippling dental anxiety and I even cry when I call to make appointments. Dr Davis and his staff were absolutely outstanding. They were reassuring, understood and took care of my pain issues and anxiety. They worked with me and my insurance to make sure I could pay for the work, and the being sedated really helped me handle the procedures with as little stress as possible. I very highly recommend going here if you have had previously bad dental experiences, they are doing a lot to restore my faith that dentists want me to have a healthy pain free experience.

It was my first time going there but every employee was extremely nice and straightforward about every thing that was being done. Any questions I had going in were answered before I even could ask them, definitely a good dentist for individuals or families

The dentists were very friendly, patience, answered all our questions and helped us feel comfortable during both the surgery time and after. We appreciate the surgeon would even take our phone call and answered all our questions on the weekend and made us feel better. They would take time to check up again and again until I feel comfortable with my surgery but The receptionist( not the one by the left corner) were not friendly at all. Almost every time we check in, they didnt even greet us nor smile. Even when we start greeted to them, they wouldnt care nor stopped their conversation. I just dont get it that they treated us like their enemies by the look and the attitude. Rude! Especially, for the clients like us coming in with the nervousness and leaving with the numbness or pain. P.S Im sure we have visited this clinic for more than 10 times.

Probably the best dentist I have ever been to. I am really nervous when I go so I got the gas. Reasonable pricing and they made sure of what my insurance covered before they did anything. I felt like the gas worked intermittently, and Im not exactly sure why. It would be working really well one minute and then felt like it wasnt at all another, which is the only reason why I took off a star. Everyone in the office was really nice and straight forward. Already made my next appointment.

Have had the fear of going to the dentist all of my life. After neglecting my teeth and not having my wisdom teeth pulled when I was younger, I had a very painful infection. I called on Wednesday and by Friday my wisdom teeth are long gone. Dr. Davis and all of the staff at Cheyenne Mtn Dental are top notch. I will now be a patient for life and I would recommend them to anyone, but especially those of us with fear!!! Thank you Dr. Davis for putting my fears to rest!!!!

These people are pure scam artists. After I made an appt and was fully disclosed pricing they tried to bait & switch me at the last second. When I protested, the smarmy millennial at the front desk said either I pay this other charge or or they wouldnt see me and they would charge me a last minute cancellation fee. I protested and threatened a lawsuit and the smart manager decided to honor what they told me they would over the phone. The only bright side for the visit from this scandalous place was their dental hygienist Julie. She was very pleasant, friendly and good at her job. I wont go back though because of their unethical business practices.

Had a painful emergency. (tooth needed extracting) Called just after opening on a Monday - and as a new patient I - was in by 11, in exam room by 1130, tooth pulled by Noon! wow.They listened to my concerns, addressing them immediately.Office has an ole school feel to it but I like that.This office does not have tvs/ headphones/videogames etc in room which some people want but I think most of those offices are too pretentious anyway..Although my exposure to Dr Davis was brief he was intelligent, professional and I really like him. RECOMMENDED ☆

Went in for a crown last Monday and Dr. Bertsch was great. It was very cool the way that they took a picture of my tooth to make my crown. They even showed it to me in 3d afterwards. Jenna his assistant was very nice and made sure I was always comfortable. Good experience all the way around.

The dentists and hygienists themselves are fine. However, the office staff - such incompetence. According to the insurance, the code that they billed me for was more than the negotiated rate. If items are not covered by insurance, Im told by the insurance company that the dental office cannot charge the patient more than the negotiated rate. They are not willing to fix this it seems. I rarely get a call back from after I leave several messages.Today I was told that the office manager deals with EOBS, but the office manager told me she had to speak with the person who deals with EOBs. So, now on top of feeling like Ive been overcharged and ripped off, I feel as if Im being lied to by someone at that office.I hope this 8-month battle over what seems to be an overcharge of $45 was worth losing two patients. Ill be filing a claim and complaint with the insurance company since I cant get anywhere with this office.This is the absolute WORST dental office Ive ever dealt with in my entire life.

Cheyenne Mountain Dental Group provides quality dental care for me and my family. The front desk personnel are friendly and efficient. When I had a broken tooth, they promptly took me back and performed the necessary emergency work.

My experience went very well, the waiting room is well stocked with magazines, the front desk staff was very nice and helpful, the dental assistants are very thorough and amiable and Dr. VanOrman is a very well trained and likeable individual; Ive never had a bad experience with the Cheyenne Mountain Dental Group!

Absolutely horrible! I recently went to see Dr. Bertch who installed a crown. About 3 weeks later it began hurting so incredibly bad so I called the office to have them take a look and figure out what was going on. When I called, they put me on hold for about 5 minutes and came back stating they were referring me to a root canal specialist. I was shocked that they wouldnt see me but I just got the referral info and went on about my business. The dentist they referred me to didnt accept my insurance so I had to schedule with another dentist. I went to this location to sign the release form for my records. I provided general info and the lady behind the desk viewed it and said it would be completed that day. Unfortunately she never released my records and when I called them back to see why, the rep simply stated she didnt have the fax number ( but I provided the name, phone number and address of the other dental office so why she couldnt simply call them to get that info goes beyond me) So, I provide her with the fax number and then Im told I need to come in to get xrays in such.........why they couldnt provide them to me when I signed the release form is beyond me. I thought these people were professional but its turned out to be the biggest dissapointment and Im in so much pain. Now I have to wait for them to send the records to the new office and this new dentist whos never seen me before to configure the records. With the other reviews, obviously these people arent very good at installing crowns so beware!!!!!!! I will never use this office for me or my family again. So terribly dissapointed. ;-(
