I absolutely love going to the orthodontist. the environment is so welcoming and they have the best cookies. Dr. Vinson and everyone working there are very personable people and that is my favorite part. not to mention my teeth are finally straight. i love my smile now and they have always done such a wonderful job. every visit is quick and efficient and i love it. it’s just a really great community of people that makes the visits so enjoyable.

Dr. Vinson has taken care of all 3 of my children and I never hesitate to recommend him to anyone who is considering orthodontic treatment. He takes a conservative approach in recommending a treatment plan and I always felt like my kids’ best interest was put first. As a matter of fact, for the first few years, Dr Vinson recommended we simply watch and wait rather than pulling teeth and starting treatment. Now that all 3 kids have finished treatment, I will miss the FANTASTIC staff as they have become my friends!

Lisa was the absolute sweetest! So I’m currently at school in Wilmington and had to make an appointment and the had one open the first day of fall break. She gave me that slot and check in on me once I got to the ortho making sure my drive from Wilmington to home was safe. I have gone here for a hot minute and missed the welcoming environment they give off. I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone here that was the slightest bit rude.

Coming to Vinson Orthodontics has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in order to improve my smile. Coming in with teeth as bad as mine, I wasn’t sure what I could do in order to avoid braces due to athletics and still get my teeth straight. However, after one appointment where Dr. Vinson, a board certified orthodontist, observed my teeth, he ensured me that there was a way! He sent me down the path of Invisalign, where clear aligners straighten your teeth in a painless way, which allowed me to still participate in athletics without worrying about other straightening devices stabbing me in the mouth or being painful. I have been seeing Dr. Vinson for the last 2 years and his staff is always super friendly. Last week I had the bright idea of showing up to my appointment with my 4 yr old and my 6 month old baby. While I was getting checked by one of the ladies, my 6 month old started screaming and Dr. Vinson stopped what he was doing to come play with my baby and make him smile. More than one member of his staff stopped by to acknowledge my boys as well. Their customer service is by far the best I’ve ever seen at a doctor’s office.

We were referred to Dr Vinson due to a tooth that was out of place and coming in incorrectly. Previous orthodontists told us it was a 50/50 chance of it coming in correctly. Dr. Vinson and the team are literally the best! I have tried other places in the triangle and simply put, they overcharge what the national average is. When I went to Dr. Vinson, I got a whole new experience; EVERYONE is nice, the prices are fair and they encourage you to ask questions and know everything because it’s a huge investment. I spoke with the financial advisor at length after my appointment and I was never pressured, my experience is that many Orthodontists pressure you and simply don’t get that this is a very expensive service that insurance doesn’t cover for adults. I never feel unwelcome or like I’m not being take care of or listened to. Bonus! You get a cookie after every visit and you deserve that cookie! Best Orthodontic team hands down

I came to Dr. Vinson’s office for a second round of braces after someone at work had thrown my retainer away 3 months after my first debandment in Virginia. The staff has always been so nice about everything and willing to help in whatever way that they could.

We moved to N.C. last summer and I spent a few weeks visiting orthodontist in the area, trying to find one that I felt would best serve my daughter (she already had braces). After visiting a few places, I found Vinson Orthodontics and I knew immediately this was the place. Staff is kind, patient and the office has been VERY impressive during COVID. Most importantly Dr. Vinson was very honest and did not try to burden me with ridiculous charges that the others orthodontist had tried to do. My middle is due to her braces soon, and we will for sure be back!

After biting into one, knowing I should have cut it up first, my lower permanent retainer snapped off for what has seemed like the third time already.No worries.
