Great haircut by Sam! Definitely plan on returning to Tonics Salon for the service, affordability, and convenient location!

I love the service I receive at Tonics Salon. The entire staff is warm and welcoming. I recently had my hair colored. I would not have trusted this process to anyone other than Sam. She has been taking of my hair for several years. The cuts Sam provides are the best I have ever had. I always leave the salon with a perfect cut and style.

Great experience! Salon is a bit small, but I am always in love with my hair when I leave! Sam has been the only hairdresser I’ve let touch my hair in 5+ years— excluding the times I’ve tried to do something myself which Sam subsequently had to fix. Prices are a little higher, but you get what you pay for!

I very much wanted to give a raving review, but alas I cannot. I visited Sam to have my hair colored, and the color does look very nice. I however feel very ripped off. I have been having my hair colored for as long as I can remember and never have I paid extra for toner or an extra bowl of color when my stylist did not make enough (this on top of an already $72 color and $90 highlight). Mind you, I didnt even really ask for a style and just had my hair dried (diffused, and was willing to bend in all the awkward directions that most people would not.) I also had to ask for dye to be removed from the middle of my face, and I still have very geometric lines of dye surrounding my entire face. On top of that, another guest was very awkwardly squeezed in during my time because she was leaving for vacation the next day. I was at the salon for 4 hours. Also, the salon is right next to a running track, so every few minutes it sounded like a herd of buffalo stampeding by. There were also gym goers constantly cutting through the salon to get to another part of the gym. Having seen where this cut through goes when I visited the restroom, they walk right by all the massage rooms. In spite of all this, I still did my best to keep up the conversation, as well as still tipping 20% even on top of the extra ridiculous charges. Im giving two stars simply because I do like the color, but I wont be paying this much for it again.In response to the owner, yes please, I would love a chance to speak with you, as I did leave out several pertinent details in this review for the sake of not making it too longwinded. Please give me a number I can call, as I would like to refrain from putting my personal number here on Google reviews, or let me know if I need to call the salon itself to get your contact information.
