This review is specifically for the Specialty Department on the 2nd floor, where I receive my monthly allergy injections. The front desk staff, Christina and Joanna, are still THE BEST ever at delivering outstanding customer service with a smile! The Specialty Department truly hit a home run having these two greeting their patients! An equally loud shout out to my Allergy RN, Joseph Carreon, whos been administering my allergy injections for the past three years. Hes been the best! While a pain to come into the doctors office once a month for maintenance shots, they make coming to the doctors office welcoming. Ive also witnessed the lm maintain their composure and professionalism, even when dealing with a difficult or testy patient. I just wanted to let you know if you need any of the following: Allergy, EN&T, MSK, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Audiology, Nephrology, or Pacemaker issues/treatment; check out the SRS Chula Vista Specialty Department! Youll be in very good hands, that I can promise you!

Where do begin! Appt at 2:45 for physical and lab work and didn’t get out of there over 3 hrs later! Clinic closes at 5. I was not happy to say the least!Waited in line for 10 to 15 minutes before receptionist decided to stop taking calls for appointments. Her and two others on the phone nonstop while we waited in line. Finally one stopped talking on phone long enough to take my appointment and paperwork information only to tell me I was late! Really! Waited again another 15 minutes until nurse took me to room to do some silly eye test and left me in a room waiting for another 30 minutes on Medical assistant to perform some other silly tests of stretching. I had to go out and ask someone if I was forgotten about because about this time the waiting room was empty and the person behind the counter didn’t seem to know I was there. She sent over eye exam nurse that was surprised I was still there! Omg! I really believe no one knows what their doing! Assistant finally rushed me through a worthless physical exam and apologized for being so late! I really think she didn’t know I was waiting because I heard her on the phone for a least 39 minutes but I had no idea she was the medical staff I was waiting on! To make matters worse after all this waiting, now they needed blood work and urine test.I’m asking why after all this time in a room and why not give me the cup to urinate! I had been waiting so long I had to go to the bathroom earlier. By this time it’s 5 and the place is empty beside a few staffers. I’m not feeling very happy by this time and asked why we couldn’t do this earlier? I couldn’t urinate at this point because I had gone to the bathroom 15 minutes earlier. Well now I’m being ask to drink water and wait until I have the urge! I told the nurse I’ll just come back tomorrow for urine test and I was told I can’t because protocol doesn’t allow it and it would be submitted as a Refusal on my part. Therefore we waited for another 45 minutes before I was able to go again! Nurse had to stay as well.Needless to say it was a terrible experience and no one seems to know what the other is doing. If you have to go here for a job related physical, try another clinic because this one lacks cohesiveness, professionalism, and plan on waiting for 3 hrs at least. Don’t wait in a room for more than 10 minutes because they will forget you’re there and leave the room door open so they can see you. Receptionist seem to be trained at taking calls and calling for appointments all day! 4 receptionist I noticed at different stations were on the phone constantly. Patients are waiting until one gets off the phone to speak to you. I would know I was there for over 3 hrs!I really hope never to return! 😱😣

Samuel Morgan Hammer Naham podiatrist so angry when you ask for additional clarification or additional consideration on his game plan for healing if it goes against his word. Copped an attitude and tells you calm down. Then decided to leave the appointment and not complete appointment. 3 treatments offered not given. Asked for a supervisor or someone else to complete the appointment was told to leave and call a number with no area code on it. Receptionisti in main area had to give me the right number.

Recently coming out of the military and having to switch to civilian doctors, all I can say sharp is THE BEST!!!! Every nurse, every doctor, every secretary is sooooooo nice and caring! Always making sure you are alright and asking about your day!!! Blows me away at how caring they are. Makes me feel so at home!!!

Was here a month ago or so. Very clean and professional staff. I really wish I remembered the doctors name and nurse who were so patient and attentive to my questions and concerns. I recieved much care with treatment and tests. As well thanks Andrea D. for the “Get well soon” card. Makes my experience with Sharp even more memorable.

I came in for a physical which I passed but because I have fibromyalgia I had to my primary care doctor write and evaluate my condition. Seemed easy. They sent me with a paper to show the doctor and the into for San Ysidro health and The Doctor Who did my physical said I could see the clinic that was by my house to get this issue taken care of. This was not the case. I went to at least five different clinics to try to get the issue resolved every single time I showed them the piece of paper they did not know what to do with it and said that they have never seen a case like this before. I explain to them the situation with the Doctor Who did my physical wanted done so I could get the job I so desperately need it. They apologized and said that they cannot provide the service because they were unsure of what the doctor wanted. I desperately tried to explain to each doctor and try to negotiate to at least try to provide the service I needed to present to the Doctor who did my physical. None of them are able to. Again never seeing a paper like I had presented them or a clue of what he wanted. They all urge me to contact the Doctor who did my physical to see what he needed and if they could get in contact with them selves to try to help me because even they knew the urgency of my situation and how much I needed this position. I called his office many times and no response.So thank you for your service for the lack of communication that costed me something is needed to provide and survive. I hope I never get sent here again.All other staff and nurses tho were friendly.

So frustrated with this place. Im not able to get lab work done unless I go to business services first...which is closed. Told to come back during the weekday. What drive me nuts is that the Sharp Rees-Stealy in Kearny Mesa never has me go to business services. Why do I have such a hard time at this location? Why is everyone so rude here? Sticking to Kearny Mesa or Downtown location. Its worth it for the customer service alone.

A PA is in charge of the whole ENT speciality department. Never seen an amateur physician assistant given authority of the acutal specialist. Cheap and unprofessional of sharp rees stealy. Get a real physician for your patients.For once i would like to see medical providers not trying to save/make money, but looking to treat their patients honestly.

Do not believe what the ENT department tells you! they do not know what they are talking about when it comes to billing and insurance coverage. They wanted me to complete a test and told me the test is free and 100% covered. I asked 3 different people to make sure that i was not going to receive a bill and that it was cover. The staff lied and gave me information that they had no idea about. I contacted the billing department and still this company refuses to own up to their employees mistakes and expect me to pay for something that was so called free. Even if they do not know the correct answer they will tell you they do and than blame you for the misunderstanding.

I saw dr turek twice before I couldnt stand the office anymore, the staff at this location cant seem to get anything done. Ive been waiting on a referral to pain management for 6 weeks, during this time I called once a week asking why no one was getting back to me. Each time I called they didnt even know I needed a referral. Dr turek prescribes medications that he knows little about, he admitted this to me while writing me a prescription for pain killers. He gave me 25 extra pills that month, and never referred me to a pain management place that actually knew what to do with that stuff. I spent a lot of time dealing with this place to ultimately get nowhere.

My mother almost die from bad service from Dr Polanco.I complained about her many times with customer service and they seem they didnt care. Now my mother has kidney problems thanks to THEIR SHARP EXPIRIENCE .We never will go back to that place.
