Dr. Kaufman is a great ophthalmologist and the whole staff is super nice. Awesome place for your kid to be treated at.

Had a great experience picking out glasses for my Kindergartener. More childrens frames than I have seen anywhere else! Pricing was about the same as our doctors office, but the selection and customer service was excellent, and much more conveniently located for our family.

Aardvark has a new policy now due to COVID-19 where they do not take appointments and ask that you just show up and call when you are in the parking lot so they can let you know if you can come in. So, when I brought my daughter in for replacement glasses I called from the parking lot as instructed and was told to come right in. While we were making our way out of the car, which takes some time with a 3 year old, another family walked in the door and was admitted ahead of us. We were told sorry...go back and wait in the car. And so we waited for more than half an hour...only because this place has an excellent selection of glasses for kids and the woman, who I assume is the owner, is very nice and knowledgeable. But, the whole experience just rubbed me the wrong way.It seemed very unfair and not very customer friendly to tell us to come inside and then turn us away. I will look for another place in the future.

I rarely write reviews but these ladies are simply the best! My daughter (who happens to have Down syndrome) has gotten her glasses here for the past 6 years. Each time, she has a wide variety of frames to choose from that match her current color obsession! And they are just spot on in recommending frames that will complement her face! The best part, however, is probably the C-clips they add to the frames so that the glasses do not slip and are comfortable for her to wear. Especially when she was first required to wear them, if they had not been comfortable, we would NEVER have gotten her to keep them on her face! I only wish they would open a branch out in the northwest suburbs! Thank you Aardvark Eyewear for such a client-friendly experience and for your tremendous expertise!

This place was incredible. I went to the office for an exam for my 3 yr old, and they sent me to Aardvark to get his eye patches. While I was there I had the flexible wraps put on his glasses. What a world of difference! No more falling down the bridge of his nose. The entire staff was sooooo kind and helpful. Im not going anywhere else here on out.

I’m very happy with this place! My son Liam needed glasses and his experience here was great! The office manager was amazing to us and all the staff as well! She has helped us with the process of picking out glasses and helping us figure out what is best!

Aardvark eyewear is AMAZING. Tammy and the rest of the staff are so knowledgeable and helpful. I am an adult and found this place after searching for a pair of glasses to fit my small face. Customer service at other places I went was very mediocre. Here, they look at your face and help you pick out frames that fit and flatter you, so you dont waste time picking out frames that you lIke but look terrible when you put them on. I also love that I pay essentially half of what I would buying adult frames and get a one-year warranty on ANY kind of breakage. Yay Aardvark!

This place came recommended by our optometrist, but I have absolutely no idea why. First, they dont accept vision insurance. Second, their whole system for finding glasses makes entire process rushed and stressful, which is not ideal for a childs first experience getting glasses. You can only look at anything in a separate room with their staff; nothing is on display where you wait. Of course, the line backs up so their employees try to push you to decisions and show you as few options as possible so that they can handle the crowd in the waiting room. We wont be going back to this place again.

The wait times a completely unacceptable! Not organized in the least. The Dr is great when you do finally get in and the eye glass store is also amazing. They need a new office manager I guess.

Love this place! Office manager is the BEST! the employees are knowledgeable and kind to the children they see. Pretty expensive but, worth it if you have money. This time around I did have to wait an extremely long time for my daughters glasses to come in which was disappointing. Think it was 6+ weeks until i finally got the call. Horrible wait time for a child wears glasses for eye correction therapy. But, I will always be a customer here.

I love the selection of childrens glasses~ it is the best in the city. The staff is really friendly and certainly cater to what is best for the children.

We came here to get our toddler son a basic prescription lens and miraflex frame. The quality of the lens they sold us was terrible. They scratched easily and were very difficult to see through. We went to another independent eyewear shop and got a much better pair of Essilor lenses for the same price. We will not be back.

Dr is good i wont deny that, but this place is very disorganized when it comes to attending people any time close to their appointment times, my daughter has been coming here for checkups for 3 years and only the first 2 times they saw us in a understandible amount of time aince then we have waited from 1.5 to 3 hrs after my appointment time being there 15 minutes before

I have a recommendation when you go to buy glasses in this place make sure toNot paying cash and for them to give them their receipt for the payment they made because I paid for two pairs of my sons glasses and paid them cash but since I did not check the receipt I trusted the person because I screwed up the sum and I wonder if he wanted give an advance or I wanted to pay everything, I paid everything and she says no, since there is no registration, the very smart gave me the receipt with the payment of a single lens and I paid her for the two lenses. glasses, not him or the doctors, they took good care of my children, the sales of frames and glasses are the estuaries and dishonestOf course I do not make fun to go to that place to buy glasses I told you them right there to the doctor I go because he takes care of my children and because I have no doubt that he is a good ophthalmologist and if he does not give me more consultation then it would not be ethical of his part since the conflict was in the sale of glasses and I made a mistake to pay in cash and not check the receipt but that teaches me not to be so confident. I did not like. Because they give you the appointment at one hour and they attend you after two and a half hours and only for k they put a few drops and that k arrives half an hour before my appointment that if they do not tend to me until four hours. ..
