My elderly parent is currently a resident. I am thrilled at the caring, understanding and patience the staff shows towards every single resident. The building itself is simple and basic, nothing fancy or extravagant.As my mother has grown older, her needs for care have changed. Westwood has met EVERY SINGLE NEED. I am so reassured and confident that my mother is getting the exception care she wanted.

Staff is extremely professional and welcoming. Super impressed!

I am currently launching a professional complaint with IDPH against Westwood Manor after “dumping “ a Thresholds client at the Pacific Garden Mission who was not able to care for himself . He was admitted via a PAS screen from Chicago Behavioral Hospital . His long-ago past was used against him , fcasw management agency was not notified , nor was a different placement even tried to be located . Bad care all the way around. Families and other professionals please take note! The people in our care deserve better !

The woman who answers the phone is rude and bad at her job. Hung up on me instead of transferring me.. And when I called back I was thrown on hold with out a word and then sent to a voice mail. If this is the way they treat people who call I cant imagine how they treat the people living there. :/

I have a friend who lives here. The staff is nice.

Worked here for a day and all i have to say is that they are no good. Care level is low

Why do the employees seem like they either were residents and or are residents of this facility? I am very concerned for the safety of my Mother at this place. Very unprofessional staff, uneducated and rude.
