We made a decision to put our cousin here for a short time well it was supposed to be, we came to visit on a regular basis and he got worser than he was before we he got there, we found him laying in his own feces.... He would call us at 3:00 a.m. asking for cold water he was begging us to bring him food to eat some days when we will arrive to visit they will call out the room number so someone will hurry up and go get that room ready for visitors and one day I just went through the double doors to see what was going on and sure enough they were trying to mop the floors and fix the bed for us to visit our loved ones..... I wouldnt recommend that place to nobody I mean nobody the homeless shouldnt live there unless they really needed a place to stay.....And they really need a place to stay 😭😭😭 unfortunately our cousin passed away right there in the facility its 😢😭😢😭

Im really going to credit where its due. This is actually the third stay here at Villa Windsor for my father over a Seven year period and this time seems very hands on. They now offer Zoom for the restricted No entry to facility times or you cant make physical visits. My experience was great and they walk me through the whole process associated with setting up the zoom process. Communication stayed open until everything was complete.I can really say I was Satisfied with Service.

For the most part being able to see my loved one via video has been rewarding, however there have been times during a visit that I would have to call the front desk for a nurse because my loved one is incapable of holding the phone/Ipad, whatever device being used, and no one stays within the room during the call. I understand some privacy matters but at a certain age what is it that we could possibly talk about that would need privacy? Ive had to at times, call the front desk while our family was awaiting to be let into a conference at the specific time it was scheduled. Since the staff has been the only ones looking after, talking with, & being able to see our loved ones it would be nice to have them shed some insight during the call and actually staying to let other family members into the video conference that may be a few minutes late because they are at work or in other states that have different times zones.

The staff of Villa at Windsor Park are professional and courteous. Although were having issues of missing or misplaced clothing and sometimes issues with transportation being on time for pickups for appointments , my mom is being well taken care of. I also appreciate being able to communicate with mom via zoom during Covid visit shutdowns.

I do not care for Villa at Windsor Park and will be moving my relative as soon as possible. My relative apoeared to be unwashed and ungroomed. I was told he would be shaven... He was not and his feet were filthy... Just like that filthy fish tank in the visiting area! Looks like it hasnt been cleaned in years! Employees seem to have no knowledge of whats going on with the clients. This is not a good place in my opinion

I never had an opinion about this place until my sister was placed here after surgery. I was not allowed to see her because of Covid restictions and I understood. But I called the staff(DON, social worker, nurses) to get a status and possibly get a transfer to another location. There was no communication or call back. And the male cnas are rude and rough according to my sister.

My family has been here for nearly two weeks now. We all have had a big issue trying to reach her on the phone. She is unable to answer the phone and they are aware of this. But they just transfer the phone to the room. Some of the staff members seems to be friendly and helpful but the majority of them are rude especially the ones that answer the phone when I call. They ask how can I make your day better but when you ask them questions they are rude and unconcern. If anything they make your day worse. Its already hard to have your loved one in a place where you cant visit them you can only communicate with them by phone and the staff is not helpful in trying to help you get this done I wish they would just take in consideration that if this was one of their loved ones and how would they feel that people dismiss them when theyre trying to get in touch with their loved ones that theyre used to seeing all the time and they love and are very concerned about their well-being and rather than ensuring them that everything is fine and allowing them to speak to their loved ones they act like its a hassle to do so

The nursing staff are very inattentive at this place. The patients ring the bell for assistance, they stand at the front desk and talk, while all those alarms are going off behind them. They frequently leave patients sitting in chairs for hours on end. I had to get on them about doing my mother like this as well. The food is disgusting. One time they gave my mom a taco shell with a piece of bologna for dinner. When i finally got her out of that place. They called and harrassed me, because they wanted her social security check and kept saying she owed them a payment, even though she has medical. Dont put your loved one in this place. Please dont

Ive been a resident here for over a year, the initial experience was fine, but once this covid-19 virus hit, things changed drastically, some CNAs come in when they want, most times two hours past their shift start. And catch an attitude when you ask them to do something; my grandmother always taught me to do what you love or DONT do it at all. Im currently having issues with two CNAs, Vivian and TJ, Vivian was refusing to give my weekly bed bath on my scheduled days, and TJ has an attitude problem and mostly comes in two hours past his shift and demands gratitude for him doing anything for you.

My mother was a resident at the beginning of this year. When Co-Vid hit she was isolated from April 23, until she ended up in the hospital June 13th. She developed seizures during her isolation. They did not recognize this and thats how she ended up in the hospital. She had the worst care by the staff on the Co-Vid floor (3). The sad thing was that she never had the virus. At the hospital she tested negative, but had 4 bed sores that to this day is still being treated. My mother can not walk, therefore, she needed total care. Please do not put your love one in this place. 0 rating.

This facility, with its casual staff, who spend more time having conversations with one another, than attending to patients, and professional staff who are virtually non-existent unless you scream and shout about needing to see them, is HORRIBLE! My grandmother, was admitted due to anInfection...and she wound up with 3!!! The unhelpful director seemed not to care, and was condescending at best. She began to go downhill very fast! They knew she was trying to get out of her bed, had stripped naked, AND THEY LAUGHED ABOUT IT AND DID NOTHING!!! The nurses seemed to experiment with medications, as my grandmother became very dehydrated. She was hallucinating due to the infections. At 93 yrs old, the staff simply struggled it off as ”her body breaking down” because of her age! They are trifling, irresponsible and negligent! DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE IN THIS FACILITY IF YOU VALUE THEIR LIFE!

My grandmother was there recently after being at other terrible places. The staff at Villa are so caring and would go above and beyond to give her her favorite foods and other things to make her happy. The administrator was a leader to the building but also caring and a kind. I cannot imagine how hard it is to have that job and still be so caring for all of the people who show little appreciation. Thank you Karen and the team at Villa!!!!

Where to start. I was overwhelmed with the warm welcome my family and I received when we went to visit our loved one. From the receptionist, Earline, (I think that was her name), to the concierge staff, we got so many questions answered before we even got to our destination. Everyone was friendly, all staff members greeted us with a smile when we passed them in the hallways, and it honestly just felt like home. The nursing staff, Administrator, and Director of Nursing were all tremendous and very open to all of our questions. My aunt will be discharging soon, and will be doing so with only the fondest thoughts of her time at this community. I cannot say THANK YOU enough. This has been an excellent experience for my entire family, and we would recommend The Villa to anyone in the Chicagoland area.

This nursing home is really disgusting and it starts with staff, management. Poor attitudes, staff talking on phone while changing residents, gossiping arguing with family members. The food is horrible, residents are not treated like they should. How can this place be still open. They have people write reviews to make them look good. But step in this facility and you can see for your self. I would not recommend this nursing home look somewhere else. TERRI or TERRY is the worst nurse this place has hired.

After spending 2 and a half years here, Im ready to transition to a better facility; they claim to provide individuallized care, but treat the residents the same.I get super heated when people tell me I need to go hard if I want to get out of my current situation, as if Im notot putting my best foot forward is not the best I can do, because I cant tolerate 6 hours of sitting in my wheelchair like some of these other residents can

I have visited here a few times now, the staff are very friendly and you can tell they care. I saw one of the nurse stop what she was doing, pick up a wrapper from the floor, throw it away, wash her hands and go back to what she had been doing... When I saw this, I knew she took pride in the building. If she cares about the environment this much, I can only imagine how much she cares about the patients. Thank you!
