I worked here for a day. D.O.N made me work over time even though it was my first day and I was not comfortable. So I told him I’m leaving that it’s illegal to make someone work pass 8 hrs. He had the nerve to text me on my personal number and tell me off. I told him he was unprofessional and I only seen staff neglect residents. He told me they don’t get payed to be professional to just be there and show up. Disgusting place all around.

I’m reading the reviews on this facility and I’m so disappointed to read all the negativity. Why hasn’t the government been involved in this situation?. This should not be tolerated, the people that live there should be treated with love and respect. Shame

I feel so sorry for the residents that stay here. They are treated very poorly overnights, majority of the times there was only enough diapers for residents to be changed once throughout the night! The facility treats staff like trash and doesn’t pay anything! If you care about your loved ones DONT PUT THEM HERE!!!

The facility is older but what it doesn’t have in amenities it makes up for care. Specializes in Hispanics elderly with Spanish speaking staff. Staff workers really hard to create the best possibleExperience for my loved one.

I brought my mother to this facility back in November of 2014 for rehab following right-knee replacement at UIC. Our experience at the facility was horrific to say the least. Some staff members were outright rude and very condescending. Nursing staff often failed to give her medications on time or not at all causing her blood-thinner levels to drop to dangerous levels; one time she nearly missed an appointment with her cardiologist at UIC because nursing staff had misplaced her clothes after she had to be moved from her room due to a bedbug infestation. Some of the residents that I have spoken to have complained of neglect and rude behavior from members of the nursing staff. Some of the nurses seem to be more preoccupied with issues such as payday, vacation time, etc. rather than focusing on their responsibilities to their patients.I do not recommend this place at all and strongly advise Latino families from sending their elderly loved ones to this facility. At first I was impressed with this location after reading their brochure and learning about how their provide care to their residents. I was very disappointed on the first day. I would have my mom to another better facility but money was the key factor at the time. This place is a major disappointment and an insult to our Latino elderly.

They treat their staff members like trash and have no respect for their service. This place forces their cnas to work with 43 people at once by themselfs. This is the worst place to work for. Their is people quiting everyday because of the abuse this place does to their employers. They also think it okay to hire a employe that has stole from the company and residents. Also the administrative want to threaten their employee. I have over 8+ years of working here and I guarantee you who ever reading this. This is a terrible place to be at. Lawsuit will be happening soon.

Today I went to see a lady that I appreciate a lot And the truth is that I did not like it. The hospital told me that I was going to recovery but I saw that she would not have the attention that she needs. This place is very old. It does not look comfortable. something of conveniences. the places of dining rooms I saw them without chairs. Our old men need to be well, they already gave much in this world to not have a more comfortable place. But he recovers soon and returns to his house of her.
