I am an autistic adult and do not recommend this urgent care to any autistic or disabled patients. The front staff was nice but the nurses and providers treated me with no respect and poor communication. It is obvious that they are not trained to care for disabled patients. They failed to provide adequate care for what I came in for and were reluctant to answer my questions. I recommend the north shore office down the street, they are kind and accommodating.

I had an astounding encounter here! I came due to an issue that had been on going yet excused at other earnest consideration places, and the specialists were exceptionally intensive in attempting to sort out what wasnt right with me! The staff was likewise exceptionally pleasant.

I visited this place a few times, cannot recommend. Most of the time you walk in and no one is even at the desk. Plus theres always too many people waiting to get seen in a short amount of time.

Went here to get testing done. Was told 24-48 hours for the results. I ended up never getting the results back and it is IMPOSSIBLE to reach anybody on the phone here - despite the fact I was the only patient in here during my visit. The front desk guy was talking on the phone to his mom about her upcoming rent and the nurses were hanging out texting. I have no idea how anybody is too busy to answer my calls.

Waited an hour and a half. Girl at the front desk missed the important part that I only wanted a covid swab, not to see a doctor. It would’ve taken 30 seconds otherwise.

The physical place is lovely BUT when tried to call in for a follow up question with a nurse or ANYONE, they have a general number that puts you on hold for as much as 25 minutes. There was a answering service that said that they could have connected us but the nurses line closed 20 minutes ago. The clinic is open ALL DAY!! So why cant a nurse be contacted??? This is so different that Northwestern. They have actual people answering the phone.

Do not waste your time coming here! I had a series of tests ran on me in early July and never heard back. I have not been able to reach anyone on the phone and yet I still got billed! Their customer service is non-existent. This place is a scam.

Arrived at 2:30 and they were done taking patients for the day. It kind of defeats the point of having an urgent care center.

Walked in at noon to a patient-less lobby. Front desk personnel was on the phone, dealing at length with someone who couldnt get their insurance info straight. After that call, called someone else to talk about the person who couldnt get their insurance info straight. After 20 minutes I left and went to Northwestern IC, where I was in and out the door in less than 30 minutes with a diagnosis, blood tests, and specialist referral. Go figure.

I had an amazing experience here! I came because of a problem that had been on going but dismissed at other urgent care centers, and the doctors were very thorough in trying to figure out what was wrong with me! The staff was also very nice.Also- they do COVID testing.

Spacious, clean, very nice staff. One star removed because it was impossible to call them to ask a question about the prescription they sent. The phone number is to Northshore general number and I was on hold 15 minutes. In the meantime I drove back to urgent care to ask my question in person, and was told that I wasnt on hold with them but with Northshore.

This review is in reference to their billing practices. I came in several weeks ago for a possible broken toe. The office is very nice and the employees are very friendly and efficient. I saw a PA. She examined my toe and ordered an x-ray, which they take at the facility. She identified my injury as simply a sprain. My wife asked if she could show me how to properly wrap my toe and the PA was very helpful. However, I was a bit shocked when I received the bill in the mail (which I photographed below) and I had been charged $87 for that 30 second demonstration of how to best wrap a sprained toe. In addition to this, they also charged me an additional $22 to have a radiologist look at the image after the PA told me there was no problem. I never asked them to have a radiologist look at the image. If the PA had said, I can show you how to wrap a toe, but it will cost $87, I certainly would have said no... as would everyone else. If they had said for an additional $22 well have a radiologist look at your x-ray of a minor injury that a PA had already said theres no serious problem, I would have said, no. These sort of sneaky billing practices are dishonest and are one of the contributing factors to the excessive cost of healthcare in this country. NorthShore is trying to expand their patient base, practices like this do not help.I would love for a NorthShore rep to tell me why wrapping a toe cost $87 and why I was not made aware that Id be charged for that? If you need to go to this urgent care, do yourself a favor and ask about costs before they do anything.

I received quick, thorough, good care. Im so used to these types of places pushing loads of treatment to up the bill and rushing me out like theyre racing the clock. Everyone i was seen by was totally dialed in to what i was saying and suggested further treatment plans while also completely respecting my agenda. This will certainly be my new go to medical spot for any future needs!

Do yourself a favor don’t go to this urgent care unless you want to spend lot more money. The Physicians Immediate care is right down the street. They are quick, nice, and affordable.Northshore is nice and clean. The nurse practitioner is very nice and professional but Jesus I went in for a flu. All they did was a lab testing if I got the flue. They didn’t even give me anything to help to relieve my symptoms. The office visit was $254 and the lab was $173 and my bill is $160 after insurance. I called and they said that is a “standard office visit fee”. This is an urgent care not a hospital!

Went here to get a COVID test and they went above an beyond. I felt safe in their large waiting room where I was easily able to socially distance from the few other people. The test was a throat scrape and I actually got my results in only 2 days. The best part though was the very kind PAs and doctors who took the time to figure out what was wrong since it turned out not to be COVID. It gave me a lot of piece of mind to figure out what was actually causing my COVID-like symptoms and I really appreciated it. Because they take the time with each patient, do block out at least an 1-1.5 for wait and appointment

Clean and spacious facility with a kind and professional staff. I went in concerned and uncomfortable with my symptoms. And I left feeling relieved as I had an attentive nurse who was helpful. She gave me helpful information, called in my prescription and promptly printed a doctor’s note for me in case my job needed it. I would definitely come back here again should I become ill.

Took my girlfriend for chest pains. They had no idea what to do, what tests to run. I dont even think they knew where they were they were so clueless. Asked my girlfriend (who has just had fibroid surgery) if she had fibroids in her chest? How are you able to practice medicine and not know that fibroids dont grow in your chest? It was terrible.

I just walked-in to this location due to illness. The front desk staff was friendly and professional. She informed me that they are out of network with my insurance and I declined being seen because it would be more expensive. She suggested another urgent care close by. When I asked a question about the other urgent care, she called them to get the answer for me. Overall, unfortunate that I couldnt be seen there but happy with the service.

Came here this morning to get stitches for an injury.. front desk associate “Pat” was horribly rude from the second I walked in, told me my insurance card was only valid for dental, I then called my agent at blue cross who confirmed it was a full policy and the same number for dental and health coverage.. He still refused to take it and call the number back, I then called another associate via the blue cross 1800 who also confirmed my number was valid and my account was paid for, he made me put the associate on speaker to confirm, which she did. He finally after me telling him to, called the number back and found my account was valid but claimed my policy, was not covered my north shore.. I have been going to North Shore clinics my whole life and have been with the same health insurance since I was kid. Pat wasted almost an hour of my time being unwilling to help and frankly rude, unpleasant and confrontational. He should not be workonf a front desk of any legitimate business. I’m now at a new urgent care, gave them the same info to which they said “it’s a dental card only but we’re happy to just bill this number if you’re confident it’s the same policy for health coverage. Are you kidding me??? Unacceptable, I hope someone advises on this review.

I injured my knee and I went here to have it checked out despite what some of the reviewers said about billing. I walked in at 5:55pm. One hour before the place closed and NOBODY was at the front desk. I waited in at the front desk for over 5 minutes thinking the receptionist is in the restroom. Nobody showed up. I knew someone was there because I saw a camouflage Bathing Ape bag on the desk. I even went to Chipotle, went back and still no one was at the front desk. I just went home because me knee was bothering me.What’s the point of having this facility open til 7pm when your staff leaves beforehand?I’ve been going to NorthShore Lincolnwood for years and thought this place could save me some time and pain from having to travel there but it did not.Get it together!

My husband went there for a rash on his hand and arm which was sensitive to the touch especially on his hand. They sent him home predisone, cream and zrytec. Four days later it was still not better and getting worse. He made appointment with doctor in his primary group practice. One quick look and it was diagnosed as shingles. He is 67 so this is something I would have thought should have been easy to spot. To bad he had to wait another 4 days of pain to get the correct medicine. Shingles is a common problem for people over 60 and should have been caught on his visit. The facility is clean and staff nice but now I am going to think again about going there when an easy call was missed.

Id avoid this place unless its your only option. I went here for a skin abscess when I couldnt get into my regular doctor or dermatologist. The treatment I received was stellar! However, the billing process has been a nightmare. The billing they send out for their urgent care services isnt billed to your insurance as an urgent care visit, and you end up with a huge bill. Instead of a $35 Urgent Care co-pay, Im stuck with a out of network physician, whom I didnt even see.

I’ve come here twice because it was the closest to me. Each time I was sent home with no medication. My symptoms ended up getting worst and I had to go to the emergency room or another urgent care facility. So my visit there was a waste of time. Do not go if you feel you are really sick!
