I am always pleased before, during and post with Visionary. My prescription is perfect and so are the people who work there. They are always very helpful and patient. Visionary is also on top Covid-19 procedures. I visited both locations, one for eye exams and the other to pick up my frames and have a contact lenses and both were consistent with everything!

I had heard good things about Dr Ciszek, and after having a mediocre experience with a NW optometrist, I decided to give him a try. I have a chronic dry eye condition. He offered hope and some treatments outside anything I have gotten in the past. He was kind, knowledgable and funny. It was a very pleasant experience. Also, the optician, Kay, was great!

Dr Michael is the best! I am a very difficult contact lens fit with high astigmatism and bifocal needs in my lenses. He has worked with me, tweaked many lenses, and I am lucky enough to be 57 and able to wear contacts for my everyday needs. This really takes a doctor who specializes in hard fits and has patience. His staff is always pleasant and I appreciate all there efforts. I work in the industry and know how difficult it is to fine this kind of patient care. Thank you Dr Michael

As always, my health comes first. I first came here 10 years ago to try contact lenses. I had a fear of touching my eyes. The doctor and staff helped me to overcome my fear. One huge thing I like about Visionary: the doctor is the one who listens and performs the test. I used to go to this other place where the opticians ask the questions, take the notes,and administrator the drops. I hated that because there was no real treatment for the patient. Here, its the opposite. The patients health comes first, the doctor patiently listens and administers advice. Notes are always referred to and updated according to patients health needs.

My experience was top notch from start to finish. I was sent links to fill out forms digitally prior to my appointment. There was a comment section where I listed questions I had, and they actually discussed it all with me when I got there - they brought it up. I was kind of shook cuz I feel like usually nobody actually cares about the stuff you write in those boxes. Everyones personalities were super fun, they followed COVID protocols, and I love that my prescription and other info is right there in my online portal. Definitely recommend!

From the attentiveness of the front staff to the detailed vision exam with Dr. Jamie Johnson, I appreciated the focus on my specific needs. Also, I like the modern look of the office, including the use of technology to enhance the examination process. I always have a fantastic experience at VECP (Loop), which was not always my experience w past eye doctors. I have seen several different doctors at VECP since I first started going ~5 years ago, and each doctor is friendly, easy to talk to, explains all my options clearly, and tries to help me make choices that fit my budget/lifestyle/needs. They also have gotten me in to see a doctor in a rush situation more than once now, which is very helpful/appreciated. I quit the job I had near the Loop location, but I now travel to them so that I don’t need to change doctors. Highly recommend!

They don’t stand by the quality of their product. Bought a pair of glasses after being led to the most expensive pairs, and after wearing them after two days, they were both loose and tight that I had to keep taking them off after two days. I wanted to return them, but they won’t accept them. I would have paid a restocking fee to not have to deal with them, but they never set the expectation they won’t take return nor did they provide a receipt. The receptionists would only adjust them. I highly recommend to not buy ANY pair of glasses here.

Avoid these clowns! Every time I have gone to this place something goes wrong. Glasses shipped to Andersonville, rescheduled appointments, and doctors observation room is essentially a dark closet behind a curtain. Furthermore, the front desk staff are rude and disrespectful to their customers. Buffoons. Absolute buffoons.I am happy with my glasses just not the service and hassle it took to get them.
