Not super helpful customer service. And less than 6 months after the exam I wanted contacts and was told it would have to be an entirely new exam because things can change in a few months. Really turned me off as this was a money making scheme, as I subsequently confirmed with another doctor. There was no flexibility on the matter. Went to custom eyes and was much happier....

Dr. Rad has been excellent and very clear explaining what we needed for my daughter’s first glasses. She and Steven have helped my family at every visit and I could not be more pleased. We’ve bought multiple pairs of glasses and are happy with quality and the speed they came in.

Great staff who were friendly and efficient. My exam with Dr. Rad went very well. She did not rush and took time to answer my questions while giving me information related to what I was inquiring about. Everyone was kind and things went smoothly with care and a professionalism that wasn’t cold or hurried. I had an excellent experience.

They are only getting 1 star because I cant give less. I had been going to this location for several years and I had an appointment with them. When I checked in, I asked the man at the desk if he would mind buffing my recently scratched glasses, he stated that they dont do that. I asked if they had changed management recently and he went on to say, he was the general manager and had been at that office for a year, and 5 years total with the company and never, have they ever, buffed eyeglass wear because it damaged the frames. I explained that I did have my glasses buffed before, but ok. I sat and waited for my initial eye exam, and when he called me up to do what they do, he said he looked at my file and found I had my glasses replaced, but never buffed. I agreed and said that was the 2nd time I scratched them, but they were buffed the first time, but again, okay! I was asked to wait to see the doctor and so I decided to look at eye glass options and forgetting we are in a Covid era, I picked up a pair of sanitized glasses to try on and the woman in the shop who was tending to another customer, snapped at me, Dont touch the glasses! Im not sensitive or fragile, but this is not the way to correct someone. I apologized, stating I forgot, just like we sometime forget things, and put them down to be resanitized. I walked out never to return. Learn to speak to people, we all make mistakes! And for the record, I did get my glasses buffed, protocol or not and I doubt that warranted a note in my file!!!

My visit went great. The staff was really friendly but my problem was how expensive glasses are here. I only wear my glasses before bed so I didnt think it was worth paying $500 for a pair. After I left I went online and found I can order glasses online for a third of the price (through my insurance). I asked them to cancel my order and they make it extremely hard for you to get your money back. They mail you a check that takes about 3+ weeks to get to you. The corporate office and I have been trying to get in contact with them so they can verify my return with my insurance. I would recommend them for an eye exam but glasses are way to expensive here.

Appointment was fine. Their frames are a little too conservative for my taste, so I tried to get some from an online retailer. When contacted about my prescription, they told the retailer that I had to call them and authorize it. So I asked them to fax my prescription to the retailer. They didnt.Next, I called and asked them to send my prescription. They sent an expired prescription from a year ago. When I pointed this out they had... oops!... lost my prescription and had no idea where it was. They would get right back to me, they said. They didnt.Terrible place. Just avoid it.

Been going here for years but my most recent experience with this location really disappointed me. If you are late by 10 minutes or more, they wont take you in even if you want to wait. The reception people are very cold and firm about rescheduling. Feels like you get your hand slapped for being late. On top of that they dont provide free parking. I paid for an hour parking just to have the door slapped in my face. Never going here again.

Weird vibes from this place. Needed some new glasses and felt like I was putting them out for being in the store. The person who helped me was crabby and made me feel bad - like I was an inconvenience. Ive never left a review before but was so put off I had to check to see if people had the same experience and noticed a few similar callouts.

Shout out to the guy who fixed my glasses on the spot today! While running errands, my glasses fell out of my pocket (I had swapped them out for sunglasses), and I unwittingly stepped on them. Totally mangled. I walked in the store, told him my sad story, and he took them into the back and worked some sort of wizardry on them. Totally fixed! THANK YOU!!!!

I would have given at least a 4 star review, but after the conversation I just by phone in regards the status of my order, I decided against it.Last week I called in regards to my order, and spoke to one of the male clerks (both of them very nice and professional) He put me on hold and checked on the status. He advised that the order was delayed, and apologized and said the order should be ready by Monday 08/10/20. I called today and spoke to the young girl, the one with the attitude problem, and asked about the status of my glasses. She tells me that they were not ready, and they will call me. I told her my order was suppose to be ready a week ago. So instead of apologizing like her co-worker did last week, she just will call you when they get here and rushed me off the phone.

Very friendly/knowledgeable front office staff. The physician was excellent she carefully assessed my needs and adjustments my prescription to best tackle my astigmatism. She took the time to discuss my options with lasik and educated me on where I was in terms of that being an option. The turn around time for my frames was reasonable. I would definitely recommend.

I just bought new glasses. But not from MyEyeDr at this location. Why you ask? Because the woman who was working there tried everything to get rid of me. I walked into the store, with my old glasses that didnt work for me anymore, because (as I now know) they were scratched up. I asked the woman if she could take a look at them. She didnt move a muscle. Well, she said, it could be all kinds of things that make your lenses cloudy - whats going on? Are they scratched? Thats why I am here, can you look at them?, I ask. No, apparently not. Then somewhat befuddled I asked, if the lenses are defective can they be repaired or replaced? No. I guess not. Can I buy new lenses, I keep asking.... at this point throwing the my business basically at her? No, we only sell glasses. Okay.... can I buy glasses. Well, she says... you need your prescription. Without prescription I cant do anything. I have a prescription, but you know... nevermind. You have a customer walk into the store...... you know.... why dont you try to sell him something... I dont know, thats what I would do.Walked into a different store, the guy started out by cleaning my glasses, showing me the problem, explaining what could be done, was open about pricing and in the end got my business.Sept 7, around 1pm.

Very friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable! They also have a very wide variety of frames.Edit: The doctors here helped me find the most accurate prescription Ive ever had, so naturally I came back. This time around I wanted to try contacts, and they worked with me to find the perfect set, and allowed me to trial several lenses. The doctors really know their stuff, and the other staff are very helpful as well!

I had an okay experience at MyEyeDr, but I wont be coming back. Because I had an okay experience, I recommended my partner go there for an eye exam as well. Because glasses are expensive and American healthcare is a joke for many of us, she took her MyEyeDr prescription to the same business shes been buying glasses from for years. The new glasses gave her headaches and dizziness in a way shes never had before, and MyEyeDr refused to entertain the idea that they got her prescription wrong, that they should maybe try again to be sure and listen to their patient. So the customer service folks for the company that sold her glasses made her a new set based on the MyEyeDr prescription. Same problem.Target Optical resolved the problem, though it left her paying for a second eye exam (yes, for a different prescription than the one MyEyeDr insisted was right). Its been a few months since this happened, but I was inspired to leave an honest review because youve sent me half a dozen texts about getting an eye exam.

I called a week ago to schedule an appointment for Saturday, 10/16 at 10:15 am. On the day of, I called a half hour prior to my scheduled time to confirm my appointment because the young woman I spoke to over the phone didn’t seem too confident during my original call. To no surprise, I was informed that I wasn’t in the appointment book. I’ve been out of contacts for a week and wanted to visit an eye dr local to me. I will continue to stick with my out-of-network provider because of this less than ideal situation. Ridiculous.

Ive been a customer of Spex for a number of years now but a recent experience with this location has caused me to look for another provider. I last had an exam here in March of 2017 and was running low on contacts. Since I had no changes in my vision I chose to order replacements via 1800Contacts in February of this year. After placing that order I received a call that my prescription was for one year and had expired so I needed to make an appointment to receive new lenses. Since I knew this was an error I planned to call to correct them but then my order from 1800Contacts shipped so I assumed they realized it was a mistake and authorized the prescription. Fast forward to a month later when I open up the contacts I received to use them and quickly realize the prescription is very wrong. Instead of a -6.00 power theyre +6.00 power. I explained the situation to 1800Contacts and they happily agreed to replace them with the correct ones, however Spex refused to authorize the replacements because my prescription had expired between the time the original order was placed and the replacement order was requested. I contacted Spex to explain the situation so they could authorize the replacement but they were neither helpful, nor understanding and honestly, not very friendly about it either. The 1800Contacts representative that was helping me attempted to resolve the situation with them as well and the woman at Spex wouldnt let her finish talking when she realized the situation. Im disappointed that I was mislead when initially placing the order about my prescription being expired, and then when they refused to take responsibility for authorizing an incorrect prescription and not being willing to own up to their mistake by authorizing a refill for the correct prescription.

I have scheduled an appointment to this clinic, to my dismay, my booking was apparently not finished by their attendant over the phone! You were given date and time, you will still end up having no appointment when You get there! How would you entrust your vision to an eye clinic that could not even handle appointments well?!! I would say go find a new eye clinic immediately!
