Excellent, professional, detailed and efficient are just a few of the words I can use to describe the service that I received. I love to support BIPOC businesses and this one is just so close to me. Katherine is an assistant there that gave me a tour of the office she is just phenomenal. I have in with a stye and she was great at calming me down and reassuring that everything was going to be ok. Not only is she hospitable but she is also funny, she is amazing at what she does.Dr Chandler is so detailed and explains everything. I felt I can speak to my doctor and wasnt going to made feel dumb for the question I just asked. I would totally recommend this Office for any of your eye care needs.

Was recommend by Americans best for a piece of metal falling in my eye and creating a rust ring in my eye. They open at 8 am on Saturdays. I called at 8:05 and was able to come right in at 8:30 to have my eye looked at. Dr. Coffey was very professional and efficient and was able to have the rust ring removed and me out of his office by 9:20am. Friendly and professional front staff as well.

I have been going here my whole life and even though the doctor is nice and very through it is an all day project. I literally have to block out the whole entirely of my day so I will have enough time for glasses exam. The quickest I have ever been in and out of this office was four hours. By the way I am 27 years old and I have been coming here since I was about 11/12 years old

I enjoyed my visit with the clinic and Dr. Chandler. They are very professional and make you feel at home. They also speak both English and Spanish. They have the top technology to check eye vision and run any tests you need and overall it’s a great eye vision clinic.

Everyone was very helpful and welcoming. Joslyn was super nice and helpful while picking glasses! Really appreciated her help along with Kathy. Both awesome girls!

My family has been coming here for 35 years. I’ve tried an optometrist closer to home but came back for the comprehensive quality service. Dr Chander is very knowledgeable and I appreciate his expertise and professionalism. I’ve had some issues with my eyes in the past and he always knows what to do to help. Christine has been fitting my glasses for years and I’m so very grateful for her help. She understands just what to do to make my new glasses feel comfortable. Without her encouragement I may have given up on the new glasses. I always have her do my adjustments.

Christine (the optician) was so patient :)) I really gave her a hard time because I do not do well with change, but she was there supporting me to find my new glasses. Front desk women were very nice, and we also received a gift for being with them for 10 years! Would recommend.

Yes very good place for everything on your eyes great crew .But its the Gucci of overall price very expensive you need a loan just to perchase glasses very high priced for a doctor that writes about if money were no object money wouldnt be a object anyone would afford them. The best eye dr Ive ever been to and Ive been wearing glasses since I was 8! The staff is very helpful and friendly as well.I did 1st give 5 stars, but it went to 3. I had an appointment and ordered contacts on Nov. 5th...it is Dec. 11 and I still did not receive part of the order. So if you have a high prescription dont order contacts from here. The other excuse was the order is delayed due to the holidays. So dont visit or order anything after Nov. 1st. Ive been wearing a daily disposable pair for the last week and a half because my order did not arrive the last 2 dates they said it would. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Dr. Chander is great. I will speak of the ladies he has working there. I have been in that office for more than 10 years, but the last straw was when I ordered one day contacts, 95 per box. The lady ordered 95 boxes for me!! It was a lot of money. I did not catch until they were already there. What kind a person orders 95 boxes? That is a lifetime of contacts. I did not get my money back and they said I could change the glasses but I am done making orders there. They have a great doctor, but the prices are ridiculously high. Also the lady in the front desk, Latina, I do not know her name, is very rude and condescending. She laughed at me for getting a doctors note to work. Dr. Chander needs to hire people not for their looks but their personalities and attitudes. He is an awesome doctor and I will miss him.

I am only giving one star because of Dr. Chandler. Dr. Chandler along with the people who work in the eyeglass section are the best, but the people at the front desk are RUDE & DISRESPECTFUL!!!! It is my opinion that Dr. Chandler should do an overall check on his staff especially Renee who says she is the boss and doesnt allow anyone to speak to Dr. Chandler even if they are calling to complain about her. She is very rude. She got upset at me and my sister when we informed her and her staff about errors. They overcharged us and when we caught the overcharge she said we werent right and it ended up that we were right per our insurance company. Every year its been something with her(Renee) and her sister who also works there. I call there for an appointment and questions on my benefits, Renee states to me I can pick up my file. I stated I wanted my entire file, they said only the last year is free. They were charging me $35 for the rest. RIDICULOUS!!!!!!! I am very disappointed in the service. I pray that I can find another Doctor like Dr. Chandler, but better staff who know they represent the company. They are a reflection on the entire business. Why people/businesses dont expect you to look up your benefits I really dont understand why they dont. A person who wants to know their benefits will always check.

Great service and very comfortable to be in. The people who work here do know what they are talking about and have been professionally trained.The glasses to pick from are changed every now and then and are modern and have a sleek design that most people will love and brands that are loved by most like Converse and Prada. This not only just for adults but for kids too. They also have a section for kids glasses as well.And as a cherry on top the also give you a chocolate (FERRERO ROCHER) when you pick up your glasses.

The associates are rude, unprofessional, not willing to apologize for their behavior and they constantly talk over you! Chose this place a few years ago but now I regret giving them my business. Dr chander should really listen in on the phone calls maybe someone would be fired. I really think all facilities like this should have recorded phone conversation. The owner will always take sides with his employees without proof losing one customer may not be a big deal but I will def spread the word..

My daughter has been going here for 15 plus years and never once in our life have weve had an issue as weve had this last month weve been trying to get an appointment because they are saying that I havent been there in a whole year for a check-up when Im supposed to come every 4 months which who can afford to come every 4 months when youre paying almost five or six hundred dollars every time you have to go and you do not take my Blue Cross Blue Shield HMO card because you only take PPO and no one wants to pay that extra money just for the eye doctor when all the other doctors take that second of all that Isabella lady that picks up the cutest person in life and does not like my daughter at all and should never even be working there because when I asked to speak to a doctor she wont give the phone to him she says she cant speak with my grandma even though they take my grandmas money with no problem they bill my grandma with no problem they have no issues calling my grandma and last month are liars because last month my grandma called and they gave her my prescription and sent it to Walmart now theyre trying to say they cannot give me a prescription even though they gave her one last month how dare you I have glaucoma its not I have an eye infection I cant afford to come every 4 months when I was told 6:00 to a year and second of all when I work the same hours you work and you have no appointments available I know when I call and ask to speak to the doctor Chandler you guys hang up on me or put me on hold to tell me hes busy in the hill called back at the end of the night that is very rude and disrespectful for someone giving you a lot of time and money because Ive been there for over 15 plus years

Very unprofessional, do not recommend. Went in a couple of times and they never got my proscription right, waste of time and money.

They charge you for everything. Want to not get eyes dialated , 20$. Made an appointment, they considered important, 50$. Wore my glasses twice , had a blurry film on it. Of course , they want me to buy new glasses and say my warranty has expired.

For an eye docs office it is surprisingly large and well staffed. Youre greeted with a warm, professional welcome and their process is really quick and easy when you check in. I had the most thorough exam ever! They had machines that I never knew existed and check things that I never had check or knew that needed to be checked. Dr. Chander was so patient in explaining everything he examined and why and walked out of the room seeing better than I did when I arrived. The optical was fabulous! The girls helped me pick the perfect frames and I also learned a lot of lens technology. No one ever told me I had so many different options to really tailor my vision for different things. I was only supposed to get one pair...but I left with 3! I have an every day fashion frame, an office pair for the computer and a prescription sunglass. It was the best experience I ever had at an eye docs office! Thank you to everyone that works there!!! - Mario

5 stars for Dr Steven Chander. But one of his opticians is so rude, inconsiderate and sells the glasses too expensive (idk maybe she gets higher commission for selling expensive) Ontop of that she didnt know how to adjust my kids glasses. She needs training. He needs to observe this girl. (shes a blonde) its so sad when great drs have staff working for them with sour attitude and make their clinic look bad. I didnt place the order with her, I told her I would return. I really loved the glasses so I decided to go back and another optician took care of me and she went over my benefits with me and gave me a great deal, the other girl wanted to charge me for transition lenses (and my insurance covered it!!) ridiculous. money hungry. I would still get an eye exam with dr. chander but consider taking my rx elsewhere to buy, unless the nice optician is there.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff!

I have cornea erosion issues for about 3 years. Dr Chander found out that right away and fixed it using some special bandage. It was ok for a year, then happened again. Last July happen again. It was Saturday night when I was sleeping. I couldnt see the doctor on Sunday so I decided to go to the nearest Walmart. They gave me antibiotic and sent me to the cornea specialist. Cornea specialist did the same: bandage, eye drops and oral antibiotic. It was fine for a few weeks only! I went back to Dr Chanden. He decided to do more effective procedure: prokera lens. It wasnt easy but overall everything is ok. My eye is doing well. Dr Chander is much better than corenea specialist. They (cornea specialist) just did the same simple procedure and they knew that I had done this before with not too long effect. So I appreciate Dr Chanders HARD WORK! He didnt play with me to do the same procedure over and over again. No. He have chosen complicated and even scary way to help me. Thank you Dr Chander!

One of the worst experiences of my life. If I could give this place a zero, I would in a heartbeat. Dr. Chander alongside Maria and some of the front desk personell were okay in the beginning. The rest of the staff are horrible. Particularly some blond that works where they have all the frames on display and the office administrator. I actually left on one of my visits because that blond was acting like I was bothering her and then left me standing there for a good ten minutes while she and another girl huddled around what appeared to be their personal friend. Both her and the office administrator were extremely rude, condescending and unprofessional. I visited primary eye care several times, about four or five times. Not once was I told that there would be a copay for my pair of eye glasses. I paid to have my frames and lenses ordered on 3/6/16 but then received a call from them on either Monday or Tuesday stating I needed to pay a copay. When I called them back to find out where this copay was coming from all of a sudden, I was told by the office administrator that I would need to pay the copay upon picking up my glasses. I was upset because as previously mentioned, this was the first time after many visits and already paying them that I was hearing about a copay. I was at work and couldnt be on the phone for long so I told the office administrator that I would be speaking to Dr. Chander. Not once did I tell her to halt the order. The next day I called them again to check on the status of my order and then the office administrator tells me they didnt order them because I was upset and I had said that I was going to speak to Dr. Chander. At this point I was even more upset because I was told one thing and then another. I told the office administrator that I urgently needed the new pair of glasses and to order them asap. After bringing up my job which had nothing to do with the matter at hand and being disrespectful, she agreed to place the order. Flash forward to today 3/10/16 and I receive an email from Dr. Chander stating that if I want my glasses ordered then there is a copay I must take care of. This was the nails in the coffin. After exchanging emails between Dr. Chander and I and getting nowhere, I requested a full refund of the money that I had paid them since Saturday. Primary eye care wasted almost a whole week, playing childish mind games. So Im back to square one. I could have gone somewhere else and I probably would have been wearing my new glasses right now. I would never recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy.

We started noticing that our son (Age 5) would have one or both eyes cross towards the end of the day or on days where he skipped naps, etc.We scheduled an appointment at an eye doctor close to our house who was both an OD and an MD, which isnt too common. Before I go further, this was NOT Primary Eye Care or Dr Chander. At this other office, here is the problem - this other doctor was horrible as it relates to patient care or answering any questions we have about our sons eyes. The first doctor was old school and simply said he needs glasses. Really, so he hasnt had any issue with his eyes until now, so if glasses are necessary, how do you know exactly and how does it work when the child is 5 in that they cant really tell you if option A or option B is better than the other during the eye exam, so how do you ensure you get the prescription correct? He responded again indicating that he said my son needs glasses and if you dont think so, I dont know what to tell you. Huh? I asked about how he determines which prescription is correct when the child is a child. Instead of giving me answers about how they do it, what machines they use, how it will correct or help or if it corrects it where his eyes will not cross as he grows or if it will continue to do so any time he doesnt have his glasses on, etc. This doctor was plain and simply condescending. So, of course, we decided not to move forward in any way at that doctors office.We then looked for reviews and talked to friends and family, and we ended up finding Dr Chanders office. We live 50+ minutes away from his offices, but we will continue to go to Primary Eye Care anyway. Why? There are a ton of choices close to home, but the entire staff at Dr Chanders office is exceptional and we dont want to go anywhere else. They are very customer focused and they are always helpful. Dr Chander himself is extremely thorough, hes always answered every question in great detail and of course, one of the best things is that he explains things well and is always attentive.Today, my son has glasses and recently, he asked about if he can not wear glasses for sports and jumpy house birthday parties, etc. He is an active kid and we went back to Dr. Chander and he was fitted for contacts. They showed us how to put them in and he indicated that its not common for kids this young to be able to wear contacts, but we stuck with it and everyone is good to go. With the contacts, the crossing of his eyes is even less than when hes wearing his glasses. Hes very happy and actually doesnt mind going to the eye doctor at all after his first couple visits. I attribute it to the friendly and caring staff at Primary Eye Care.

I’ve been coming here since I been 10 or so and I’ve never had so many issue since today . First off I don’t understand how I can see a doctor who literally tells me that I can pay my bill when i get paid An then I get to the front desk and they tell me that I need to pay before they can put my perscription in. Like who don’t care about your paience you only care about your money !!!!
