I have been going to Dr Golden for over 10 years for Botox, he is the only one I trust. Last year I decided to try fillers from a practice that was closer to where I live and did not have a good experience. I was hesitant to ever get it done again. Yesterday, I went back for my botox to Dr Golden and decided to try fillers again. I didnt want to look over done or uneven like the previous place I had went to. I cannot stress how obsessed I am with Dr Goldens work. His attention to symmetry and creating a natural look to perfection was the the best experience I have had. This is why I will continue to drive over an hour to see him. Also, wonderful staff, professional & very informative during the entire process putting my nerves at ease. I love Dr. Golden as I always feel like Im in good hands. Hes caring and if theres an emergency, like I had yesterday, he accommodates.Hes got a great staff, very hands-on. Moreover, he offers a lot of great services that you wouldnt necessarily expect. I was impressed that he offered to give me a flu shot saving me a trip to my internist. He carries an amazing skincare line and his eyeglass selection is awesome. I come from a family of optometrists (out of state) and going to Dr. Golden is like going home.

Excellent customer service and excellent doctor attention to detail. If you want to get an eye exam that is more comprehensive than anywhere else in Illinois go to doctor Golden. He has followed me for over a decade and today he showed me the changes in my eyes over time. Impressive. I know any issue will be identified before it becomes a problem.

My visit was great from the time I arrived until the time I left. Check in was smooth. They enforced hand washing, checking temps and disinfecting stations in between clients to ensure safety and sanitation. The doctor even gently but quickly reminded me to keep my mask over my nose and mouth at all times when he saw I had pulled it down. All staff demonstrated great customer service! I highly recommend.

Dr. Golden is a fraud. His staff said that the eye appointment purchased on Groupon would include a prescription and a PD. We show up to the appointment and he then says that it will not include the PD as promised. After waiting for 45 minutes and filling out personal history information and redeeming my Groupon, Dr. golden then said he was refusing to do the eye exam. I explained that we had already paid for the exam and he still refused and told me to contest via Groupon

I visited dr golden today and my experience was wonderful the staff has wonderful customer service and dr golden was very attentive and friendly and not like everyone else trying to push there Product and least but all not expensive seeing i was paying out of pocket I recommend them to everyone looking for the perfect eye doc

I wont go to anyone else. Dr. Golden is simply Golden! You can see by his loyal following of patients lined up to see him in the lobby. The staff is amazing, supportive and so patient. They are a great team and just like Dr. Golden they treat their patients with respect, kindness, sensitivity and patience. They answer ALL your questions and take their time to give their personal touch which goes a long way to give you the best treatment. I tried high end optometrists and ophthalmologists as well as cheap online stores and they never measure up to the service and value I get consistently with this practice. Dont know what Ill do if he ever retires! They moved from 15 to 18th floor in beautiful John Hancock building right off Michigan Avenue. They follow strict covid protocols which can be especially challenging in this specialty. If you arent covered by insurance they work with you so you can get the tests and service you need, plus theyve added new staffers, Richard optometrist and technician Irene for microneedling services as well!! Its a one stop shop for face, eyes and lips!

I am very grateful to have found my “golden” ophthalmologist, Dr. Mark Golden of Doctors for Visual Freedom. As soon as I walk in, the assistant has me wash my hands, takes my temp and checks my oxygen saturation. I always get excellent, empathetic care as I have Sjögren’s Syndrome, an autoimmune disease that gives me dry eyes and a lack of saliva. He is one of the best, most attentive physicians I have ever had.

Dr. Mark Golden and his staff are extremely professional and during the Covid pandemic you can feel very comfortable with their level of compliance at their office. Very sanitary! While at his office, I was able to obtain a Covid-antibody test - hassle free. I have been his patient for 15 years.

I can’t explain just how great of care Dr. Golden gave me. My corneas were badly damaged but he gave me quick, excellent treatment and my vision has been quickly recovering. He has checked up on me every week to ensure I have made good progress and won’t have any permanent damage. I can’t recommend him and his staff enough!

I had a great time visiting a few weeks ago for a check up on my eyes. I had undergone PRK five years ago with Doctors for Visual Freedom to correct my eyesight, and the surgery and after care exceeded my expectations. I am still so grateful five years after the surgery - and this is from someone who had previously worn -8.75 in contacts w/ astigmatism! Dr. Mark always has something new and innovative to teach me about eye care and beauty enhancements, and I am excited to try out some of the new treatments. The staff is very friendly, too and the office is beautiful. I fully recommend this place.

The actual procedure was fast and painless. Now that they are fully healed, I feel like Superman. My last checkup came in at 20/20 and the crispness of my vision is exceeding my expectations.If you are debating whether or not to get Lasik, stop wondering and just do it. I just had my six month consultation with Dr Golden, and I am still amazed at my sight! Dr Golden and his team have been phenomenal since the start, and I can certainly say that this has been a life changing surgery for me. I have worn glasses since I was 12, and later switched to contacts for sports. Many people take their good sight for granted, but for those of us who know the day in and day out hassle of contacts, or the activity limiting situation of glasses, we understand the desire for unaided, perfect eyesight. That is what Dr Golden has given me. I now easily see 20/15, and am capable of seeing 20/10. Meaning that what most people can see from 10 feet away, I can see from 20 feet! Super sight! The day after surgery I could see perfectly. Never in my life have I been able to see this well. I can only relate the feeling to the first time I put on glasses, realizing what I had been missing. Leaves on trees, bricks on the tops of buildings, I see it all now!From the consultation through the day of surgery and follow up visits, Dr Golden was professional, helpful, understanding, and straightforward. He also happily answered any questions I had. Needless to say, I scheduled my surgery appointment soon after the consultation. The eyedrops before and after are easy, and the surgery itself was a walk in the park. Actual surgery time...ten minutes! A major reason for the positive experience was going into the surgery center with no anxiety or fear. I trusted Dr. Golden 100%, and in that type of situation there are few things more important.
