My family and I have been coming here for many years and I only have great things to say. Dr Amneh is friendly, kind, and always talk through the plan, and most importantly does great work. We are all appreciate her.The office staff is friendly, personal, and always checking in to make sure they are taking care of you. The office is clean and comfortable.

Everyone was extremely pleasant. Havent had great customer service in a while. I also noticed the COVID precautions in place. Including, wiping down equipment etc.

I am being conservative and giving 4 star. There was nothing to complain. The staff was friendly and doctor was knowledgeable. Overall good service. Good hygiene and sanitation including restroom.

I have been seeing Dr. Najjar and his team for several years on/off for my orthodontic treatment and follow ups. Since he worked with me to start and finish my Invisalign back in 2017, my teeth still carry a perfect smile. To this day, Dr. Najjar and his staff, including Abril and Gloria, bring the best of care and respect to their patients. I am a loyal patient for life.

They used to be great ..I recommended a lot of ppl in the past . My insurance changed through medicaid ..they rescheduled my appointment 3 times in 6 months . Then failed to notify that I would have to pay $110 after my visit . I told the dentist I had a cavity ..they couldnt find it on the x-ray ..then when I came back she said the tooth was rotten and I let it go too long and it had to be pulled ..but she couldnt pull it ? Either not qualified or unable to . The first 3 years they were great . Now they have become really bad especially the way Ive been treated by staff . They insisted I was aware I would have to pay but there was nothing in appointment reminders ,emails or texts that said I had to pay $110 or I wouldnt have kept the appointment . I had to use part of my rent money . I dont know if its new management or bad dentists now but in the last year Ive been insulted by the dentist , told the cavity was my fault and that she couldnt do a root canal or extraction . Is she even a dentist ? Then charged $110 to be treated badly .

This is my first time doing a review for this location; I have been coming here for a while now; certain assistants are very supporting and nice. The front desk assistant Gloria is nice and informative; the other young adult who also takes payments over the phone needs training on her call etiquette and phone demeanor she is really rude and gives attitude over the phone. Overall dentist who saw me was really nice, she was understanding and also explained throughly the situation that was happening. The manager there was also very nice, she explained how the payments were going to go; and since at the time in the year of 2019 I didn’t have dental insurance till a later date they were flexible with payments. Four out five stars due to the young assistant at the front desk who needs to work on her phone etiquette and attitude.Overall clean location.

I would recommend this place to everyone,specialy for braces,as we are seeing Dr.Anas Al Najjar for about 18months now, I am very pleased with his outstanding care for my teenage daughter.Also, I really appreciate the office manager Najoua A.who keeps things running smoothly during your visit.After having little issue with one of new receptionist ( in training at time) she reached out to me and apologized for any inconveniences it caused me.I must admit,that the customer service really did improved and I am definitely coming back for any dental needs for me and my family.Thank you for excellent service,and we love our Bosnian dental assistant,who has very gentle touch when adjusting my daughters braces or while cleaning her teeth.

I went in for a cleaning and Adriana did an amazing job!!!!!!! She took her time with my teeth and was super gentle.On a different day I went in for my invisalign and Lupe was super sweet and professional.

My son and I have been coming to this dentist office for over 6 years. The staff is always friendly and remembers our names. Hence, we look forward to seeing them too. Theyre always interested in catching up in how we are doing. Not to mention their prices are very fair. So grateful that we have a great dentist office and staff to go to that we are comfortable at. I had a broken tooth, and they helped me right away. They did their best to fit me in since it is difficult for me to take a day off of work. The front desk was very friendly and informed me of delays. There were several people working, and they communicated well with each other. Everyone knew what was needed and gave me consistent information. The dental hygienist was very gentle. The dentist took care of my issue, did my check up, and cleaning in one visit. (Fortunately, I did not need a filling). I will definitely return in 6 months.

I love the staff at 1st Family Dental. Everyone that works there are caring, helpful, respectful, & understanding. They helped to get Medicaid pay for my daughters braces, in full. They are also very patient with my son, especially since he hates needles. When it comes to working with children, they are all highly trained, professional, & most important, caring.

Been coming here for a year and thought about giving this place one more shot, but ultimately the ladies at the front desk have attitude and the dentist would just come in for a second, not really speak to me and walk out. He wouldnt even inform me if I had cavities or not, literally just walk out the room. I had more communication with the assistants than with the dentist.

I had a very bad experience with this dentist. I went in for an exam and basic cleaning. Without notice, authorization, or consent they performed a different type of cleaning and rang me up for several different code types than what my insurance covers. I was unaware it wasn’t a standard cleaning, until I was presented with a bill for $200 and informed that I actually got a really good service. As a patient I find this a huge violation of trust. The office has a responsibility to inform patients as to what charges may apply when change service types, and the doctor should communicate with the patient before providing up requested services. I strongly suggest avoiding this practice.

This place is awesome!!! Was able to schedule an appointment no problem. I brought my 4 year daughter in for a cleaning, and she enjoyed her experience. The dental assitant and dentist made her feel so comfortable, and put cartoons on for her! You can tell they really care about their patients. Super impressed. Very friendly staff! Very clean! Highly recommend coming here. I just scheduled an appointment for myself. Im so happy I finally found a great dentist office.

The dentist, the Bosnian dental assistant, and the whole staff were absolutely wonderful. Dr. Hsuan Hsai did a really great job on my dental cleaning. He was very thorough, he answered all my questions, and his dental assistant was such a sweetheart. I felt that I was really being cared for!! I will definitely be returning to this dentist way more often even though it is a long commute for me.

I am seriously considering putting a strong complaint in the office of consumer protection - Illinois Attorney General and another in the American Dental Association. When a patient goes to a clinic, he does so with pain and concern about his health and the least he wishes is to be treated with respect, love and professionalism by a doctor who is obliged to do so by oath, which must provide assistance and support his diagnosis with empathy and Cause knowledge after having assessed her patient carefully. I tell you that today I am happy to have taken the decision to prevent that doctor working in your clinic from performing a procedure with which she would destroy the health of my tooth. Thanks to my decision my tooth is healthy today and in my pocket the 700 usd that her wanted to charge me for it still remain.I have been a patient at his clinic several months ago. From the first time I attended I was forced to perform a procedure with which I did not agree, which cost me 680 usd that I had to pay in cash because my insurance did not cover it. I just wanted to have a filling done in a tooth and I was forced to undergo a deep cleaning as a precondition for my tooth to be filled in, given the doctors refusal to perform this last procedure if I did not carry out the first one. That time they took x-rays of the four regions of my mouth. After the deep cleaning was done, I went back to his clinic to fill in 2 more teeth. I was always treated by the same doctor, which is fair to say, he always behaved very professionally. The last time I attended his clinic I called to make an appointment because I felt an unease in my tooth or at least I thought so. At no time did I say it was an emergency. I even changed my first date for the next day. That day I arrived an hour and a half in advance and I disciplinedly waited for my turn. When they called me, I was attended by the nurse to whom I explained what happened to me. I told her that I thought he could have hurt the gum with the use of dental floss or that in his defect he could have damaged a filling that he previously had in that tooth. I explained the sensation to the temperature changes and she proceeded to take two x-rays. After twenty minutes the doctor appeared and she wonder what happened to me, I repeated the same thing and the nurse explained. She looked at the x-rays and proceeded to practice two tests. First he poured water into my mouth and she wonder what I felt? I replied that nothing because that water was not cold. The second test was to cool a solid instrument and put it on top of my tooth. She asked me again what I felt and told her nothing. It is natural that I felt nothing because obviously my problem was in the gum, not in the teeth. She immediately proceeded to indicate to me with certainty that I needed a filling in one tooth and in the other I needed a root channel. I was not at all satisfied with that diagnosis and asked her to explain to me, I told her that I did not believe that this was my problem and immediately she showed me in a very unkind way that this was her diagnosis and that she was the doctor.

The first and last time. The ladies in the front desk have attitude and one of them kept me waiting and took the phone call instead.The two stars are for the dental assistant because she is super nice. However, the cleaning was not how I expected, the doctor spent like 10 minuets cleaning and that was it. I came back home and I still have stains on my teeth. Disappointed!

Omg I have amazing experience today with doctor Shima and her assistant Senida. I had a big pain because of my broken teeth and I am in 8th month of pregnancy, so I was so scared and lost. At the same time I was afraid that I will harm baby if I take any medication but on the other side I also was scared of any dental process because before I had a very bad experience with another dentists. But this ladies were so gentle and patient with me, I didn’t feel anything. Also it’s beautifull and comfortable office, it’s smells good, you do not even have the feeling that you are at dentist. I am so glad that I went on this place today. Thank you so much!!

Extremely bad experience on this site. They only care about money, not the health of their patients! I was a patient of that clinic for 4 months. On my first date, which I attended for a toothpaste filling they told me that if I did not do a deep cleaning, they could not perform the tooth filling. That procedure was not covered by my insurance and I had to pay it in cash, 680.00 usd. When I agreed I had the procedure the same day, I didnt have to make a new appointment. It is fair to say that the first doctor who treated me was very kind, that day they took more than 10 x-rays. After performing the deep cleaning, the same doctor performed a filling procedure on two more teeth in subsequent appointments. Only 4 days ago I started a discomfort in the mouth, this discomfort was located in the first premolar and began after using a dental floss, so I thought I had damaged some old filling of that tooth. I felt a bad sensation when ingesting cold and hot liquids and foods. Call and make an appointment. I never asked for an emergency appointment, I even postponed the appointment for the next day. The day of my appointment I arrived an hour and thirty minutes before. When my turn came they called me and ordered me to sit down. The nurse asked me what I had and when I explained I took 2 x-rays of the area and told me that I had to wait for the doctor. Upon arrival I wonder what happened to me and explain the same. I check the x-rays and he said he needed to do two checks. He poured water into my mouth with one of his instruments and wondered if I felt something to which I replied that the water was not cold enough. The second test was to apply some cold compound to a solid object and put this on my tooth. I didnt feel anything either. After this, the doctor told me that I had to make a filling and also had to make me a root canal in the adjacent tooth. That procedure also does not cover my insurance and cost 600 usd. When I told him that I didnt think that was the solution because of the idea I had of what could have happened to me, he got very upset and told me that that was his opinion and that if I didnt want it, it was my decision but all in a little way Friendly, rather nasty. On that second occasion and in return to tell me that this was his opinion that he was not obliged and immediately left. I asked the nurse that if they werent going to do the filling and she said no, that I had to make a new appointment because that was just an emergency appointment! I replied that I could not lose work time, that it was already there that please attend me, but it was all in vain. They told me that they couldnt because the doctors were busy with other cases. When I left I saw a doctor sitting in front of a PC and the doctor who attended me walking down the hall. Obviously this doctor does not have the slightest idea of ​​what love and empathy means with her patients. They are only interested in money. How is it possible that the first doctor who treated me, after so many readiographies and so many procedures did not detect that I needed that procedure and this last doctor in less than 5 minutes if? 1 hour waiting and we do not attend appointment at 4 pm and almost 1 hour and do not attend only see that people go inside is good 10 or 20 minutes but an hour is not good need to check if appointment system that serves to be cited if you are going to wait an hour or more
