I had been dreading going to the dentist since the pandemic started, so even though I’m usually in that chair every six months, it had been two years since I’ve seen a dentist. I know, I’m embarrassed. Such dread, such anxiety going into the office for a painless 20 minute experience. Dr. Groh was wonderful, everyone was kind and I was in and out. Thank you so much!

The Dental Salon is the best dentist in town! First of all, they are one of the only dental offices that are open 7 days a week… that’s right; they are open on Sat and Sun AND have evening hours. No more taking days off work just to care for your teeth! Additionally, the dentists are experts and very skilled. The facility is beautiful and the staff is caring and professional. I have had several dental emergencies and the Dental Salon has always been there for me! Upfront about pricing and treatment plans. More than just cosmetic, they care about the health of your mouth! Love this place!

My wife and I both went here for the first time and were blown away. They were thorough but efficient, kind and welcoming. They use special instruments to clean your teeth without painful scraping. Best dental experience we have ever had.

I don’t leave reviews… but in this case I had to. Due to some nerve damage and eventual discoloring, I went in to get my front tooth replaced (full root canal). Dr. Khanna absolutely did his thing man. I feel brand new and my smile is back baby! I love seeing young(Er) folks killing it in their profession. Dr. Khanna is one of those young folks. But not to be outdone.. their staff in general was amazing. S/o to his assistants and the new young lady with the glasses who started at front desk recently. The actual dental office was cool too. Much more laid back than your parents dentist office. Keep it up guys. I’ll be back!

Dr. Khanna is amazing! As long as he works here, I will be going to see him at Dental Salon for my teeth!After my previous dentist completely closed their doors with no warning, I was extremely hesitant when trying to find a new dentist in Chicago. I found Dental Salon through my insurance, and it seemed to have the best reviews. It did not disappoint!The receptionist discussed my options and was kind and courteous while I babbled anxiously about my concerns for my teeth. He explained I could choose an emergency visit (get in ASAP) or wait for the one I scheduled, and I ended up waiting.Then, the practice sends a Google questionnaire to your email, asking you questions about your past dental experiences, particularly any traumatic or negative experiences. I went into depth on this, and Dr. Khanna read my responses and asked me about them.He clearly explained what he was doing, the purpose of the different tools/cleaning methods, and would switch to a manual tool when I experienced (unavoidable) pain because of the plaque build up.Both he and his assistant were fantastic, comforting, and answered all my questions. Im very comfortable with this choice, and Ive convinced my roommate to check them out next!

This place is wonderful! Dr. khanna is the best dentist I have ever had. Hes very compassionate and mindful. I had tons of work that needed to be done he made me feel reassured the entire time and was able to save one of my teeth that I thought I had to have removed. The front desk staff are all wonderful. Yuri is great! The dental hygenists are also fantastic. Additionally, as transgender person I felt very seen and considered. They asked my pronouns and consistently have been great about it. I highly recommend them!

Doctor and techs were great. Assessed my issue quickly. I was 7 minutes late but with parking 15 because I was new to the area and office and couldn’t find a space. Female receptionist was completely understanding when I called to say I was running behind and trying to find parking. She kindly said she’d let the doctor know. However as soon as I hung up I received a call from a male receptionist who informed me I was 12 minutes late (while I was trying to park). He then proceeded upon my arrival to let me know I couldn’t be seen in the future if I am 10 minutes late. Obvi! As if I would try to make a habit of being late. I understand the 10 minute rule from school and didn’t need to be reminded of it while I’m rushing in in pain from a tooth that fell out. Perhaps just put it in writing or inform me post my appointment in the future.

I truly enjoyed my experience here! Both the Dental Assistant and Dentist were great and explained with detail why my teeth were reacting to new temporary crowns. I plan to go here again when I need more dental work later.

I would recommend Dental Salon to ANYONE looking for a dentist. They are compatible with a lot of insurance companies and, as a college student doing most of this stuff by myself for the first time, I can say that they are very thorough and are willing to work with you/explain whatever you need. I’m so great full I found them!

I had a wonderful experience on my visit to Dental salon yesterday. Lana and Dr. Khanna made me feel comfortable and at ease during my dental appointment. They made me realize that dental appointments do not have to be scary. Elle also did a good job of explaining the financial part of it.

Dr. « Al » as he is known is the best dentist I’ve had (I’m 55 and care for my teeth) and I’m thrilled with Dental Salon. He worked on a super tough root canal in which I had to return many times due me waiting far too long to get it done. It was one that most dentists would just yank and implant. Not him. Three months later - it is stronger than its been in years and it feels great. He did a front tooth filling that looks so natural I cannot believe it. He does not suggest anything needless - as other dentists have. Go to him.

The dental hygienist was very kind and quick with my X-rays and cleaning, and Dr. Patel had a comforting presence, was reassuring, and had helpful education points to help me take the best care of my teeth. I was very happy with my experience here.

I had my first visit today and I was very nervous! I have a LOT of dental problems. Everyone I dealt with was incredibly kind and non-judgmental. They were very gentle with me, and put me immediately at ease. Ill need to be coming back pretty frequently, but thats fine, Im sure Ill be well taken care of.

1. Scheduling is usually easy and the receptionists are friendly and efficient.2. Ive been to the Dental Salon at least 3 times and never seen the same doctor (dentist) more than once. Now reading over all the other reviews my experience makes sense.3. The hygienists stick around longer and I had the same ones do cleanings, but there is also some turnaround.4. My main issue with the DS is their cleaning service. It takes at most 10 minutes, more like 7. Polishing takes exactly 30 seconds. Efficient? Are you serious?? Im honestly surprised some of the reviewers are raving about in and out in 15 minutes... Havent they had cleanings done elsewhere? I miss that cleaned teeth feeling... And this is especially bad when it is your mid-year visit, without a dentist follow-up.Hygienists could also be friendlier, though it is definitely very secondary to the actual cleaning quality.

It was absolutely, hands down the best dental experience I have ever had. And I’m so anxious about dentists. They were soooo nice and educational and painless and wow.

My appointment was at 12:40pm. I texted to let them know I was there, which is their Covid protocol. No response. At 12:51pm I received a text that my appointment was cancelled. So I went up and said wait I’m here! I was just waiting for you to invite me up per your protocol. They informed me the hygienist was “triple booked” and had to move on to the next patient. I already spent $20 Uber to get there. Now spending $20 Uber to go home. No tooth cleaning. I will never, ever go to this place again. It’s old, the interiors haven’t been updated in a good 20 years. It looks unclean. The equipment failed multiple times in the middle of my surgery. Your dentist will move on to a new office and they’ll just pass you off to another dentist half way through crown procedure with no explanation. I paid over $5000 out of pocket for dental work at this place in the last year. 4 partial crowns. I have waited in that office for 20 to 30 minutes every single time and said nothing. But I’m not even late, just waiting to come up and 11 minutes later they cancel me via text. It’s just so infuriating. I will never, ever go to the Dental Salon again. Also stupid of them to send a follow up text asking me to do a survey on their service. Clearly, it is terrible.UPDATE: the Dental Salon office manager contacted me and offered to credit my account for my Uber trips which was very kind. The owner also reached out. They obviously tried to make it right afterward, which goes a long way.

The service provided is consistently prompt, I am seen at the time of my appointment; professional, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always solution focused; most importantly, Dr. Reddy reviews my dental history prior to my visit and provides in depth options for treatment and a clear plan to move forward.

I visited Chicago Dental Salon for a last minute visit after chipping a tooth over the weekend, simply because they were available to see me sooner than my normal dentist. I am beyond pleased with my visit and am going to make them my primary dentist going forward. The building is easy to find, clean and brightly lit. I only waited about 5-10 min after arriving to be brought back to my room, where I explained what happened to Dr. Khanna. From then on he explained the situation (needed to be fitted for a crown), the procedure and how long it would take. They were also able to do it on the spot, which is really helpful as I was traveling in the coming days.Every step of the way I was explained what was happening, which really goes a long way in settling nerves. Dr. Khanna constantly checked in to see if I was in pain (I never was, just minor cold sensitivity in which I was given more anesthesia). The process was quick, painless and easy, and I couldn’t be more thankful for that!Would recommend this dentist to anyone!

One thing I like the at Dental Salon are the technicians, like Teresa and the two Black women that I forgot to ask their names. It is good to see some diversity in a dentist practice and professionalism. However, I had a good dentist Dr. Dallas who would listen and explain the procedures that unfortunately left the practice. Last Saturday, I had the displeasure to have Dr. Stec as my dentist. I was trying to explain him my pain and asking questions, explaining what I was experiencing, giving suggestions and he was laughing, literally mocking at me. Very disrespectful with little patience to listen to the patient. It was enforcing his ideas with force in how I should floss my teeth without any gentleness. Some people should never be a dentist.

The best dental experience of my adult life. I’ve gone to the same dentist since I was a child, but I moved and chose Dental Salon as my new dentist. Everyone was super friendly, and the Doctor cleaned my teeth perfectly, no pain or problems.

I am gratefulnthat they always have spot for emergency dental check ups, during pandemic it was hard to get an appointment for dental routine, my dentist friend recommend the clinic. I took a chance considering its almost a year I did not have dental check. I am glad they took me right away in my most convenient time.

I had 2 wisdom teeth extracted. It was quick and not as painful as anticipated. Dr. Patel talked me through it and it was done before I knew it. Ellie the receptionist was very patient with my insurance situation and went above and beyond to ensure my billing was accurate and I could be seen. I was also able to get an appointment for the day after I called to request one. I will definitely recommend The Dental Salon.

Dr. Khanna has done great work restoring my teeth. I had to get multiple crowns, root canals and an implant. He is very patient and explains all necessary steps, even when it took me forever to decide on the shade for my crown. He provided multiple options until it was perfect. Highly recommended.

Love going to the Dental Salon. Dr. Dallas has made my dentist apprehensive husband not loath going to the dentist. We have been going to get our cleaning here for a few years and also had a crown on my front teeth. And being my front teeth I was so nervous as those are the teeth you really see! But they did a great job and took the time to make sure it was a well matched color. I had to go to a specialist for my tooth color because it was naturally whiter that what they typically see so I appreciate that care to detail!

My appointment was at 12p and I was on time. I was left in the waiting room for 20m after my appointment time. Then I was taken to the back and waited for another 10m in the chair with no communication as to why my appointment was delayed. I said something to the dentist Dr. Hannah Groh because out of professional courtesy someone should have explained what was going on because if I was late I would be charged a fee or my appointment canceled. She immediately jumped on the defense instead of apologizing. She asked me if I want to reschedule to further inconvenience me instead of again apologizing. She asked me twice if I wanted to reschedule because she clearly didn’t want to apologize or service me because I said something to her about the lack of communication. There was no empathy but plenty of attitude. Also, my daughter had an appointment with her right after me so I was still stuck there. They also have you pay before services are even rendered which I thought was odd and funny because now that they had my money oh I could reschedule how convenient. Then I was asking questions about my daughter future appointment because I’m not a dentist and she was irritated. It was like how dare I ask her for clarity. She was rude and dismissive. In the end I asked to be switched to a different dentist because she was unprofessional and rude. The rest of the staff was friendly but Dr. Groh made my appointment a very unpleasant one! Then I received an email later from their office saying they were canceling my future appointment and that me and my family should find another dentist, which I fully intended on doing anyways. My co-workers warned me about their office because a few of them also had issues with them as well and ended up going elsewhere. Dont be fooled by the great reviews left by those who did have great experiences, read the not so good reviews and see how the owner responds that will give you a good idea of how they really feel about their patients! You see he came and said I slandered her as if he was there. He flips it and says I treated her poorly, not that she was rude and dismissive to me because I asked why no one communicated to me why my appointment was delayed and general questions that anyone should ask. They took no accountability and were unprofessional! If you read the owners comments to anyone who gives them a poor review they are nasty to those patients. That doctor could have been having a bad day which may be why she was so rude and dismissive, we all have them but I stick by what I said!

My husband and I had an awful experience here. Let me first say the reception staff is extremely friendly and helpful. However, they are not upfront about costs. Don’t be tricked by their no-insurance package that they offer. My husband ended up having to pay an extra $550 just for a cleaning.When I arrived they wouldn’t complete the basic cleaning that I made the appointment for (over the phone) because I was pregnant. I was very clear on the phone that I wanted just a cleaning and there were no problems then. I rearrange my day, as most do, to accommodate this appointment.We could not be more disappointed and frustrated.

Such a clean, modern and professional office with state of the art instruments. All the staff were friendly and provided excellent customer service. Dr. Groh answered all my questions and took her time to listen to me and address any concerns. The dental assistant Gabriela was also superb! I walked out very pleased and happy I chose Salon Dental Chicago as my new place of dentistry.

OIve been going to the Dental Salon since 2018.Had Invisalign done for 18 months. Finish it took a while for me to see another doctor because the doctor I was seeing no longer worker there. I was placed with another one who never was on time for my appointment so I asked to be place with another one. So on March 31 I had permanent retainer to my upper teeth and partial dentures for the lower teeth. I’m not please with the partial dentures because they are very loose. They don’t fit properly to my mouth. Now I am back a square one on how to get these properly done the right way. I called back to the dentist office as soon as I got home and realized when I started talking they kept falling out.No respond back from the dentists These are supposed to be the ones I can eat and talk with.

It was my first visiting the dental salon and I was apprehensive because I’ve had bad experiences with previous dental offices. I had to say that the dental salon, Dr. Groh, and all other staff are phenomenal. They know how to treat their patients with care and respect. Dr. Groh was very nice and patient during my cleaning. She assured me that no pain should be felt during my cleaning. I actually didn’t feel any. Her dental assistants were very awesome as well. I appreciate them and I will be coming back. I finally found a dental office that I can call home. Thanks so much dental salon.

I had a dental emergency while visiting Chicago for the day on a weekend. I dialed over twenty places and none was open or has availability. I was surprised to be able to get a same day appointment two hours after my call at this place. The office is clean and sleek and the doctor and staff were super professional. I got two wisdom teeth pulled on the spot and the copay was way cheaper than a lower range price I would pay in New York. The doctor personally followed up with me a few days later. I would use them as my dentist if I ever live in Chicago.

I was very disappointed in my visit to the Dental Salon. First I sat in the chair for about 15 min before anyone came to see me then the dentist came in and out so quickly Im not sure how my teeth got clean. Then the person who polished my teeth missed half my teeth I feel. Theb when she flossed my teeth she didnt even go between my teeth to the gums. She literally touched the top of my teeth and that was is. She did not floss between my bridge as they always have. I asked her about it and she said the Dr didnt and no he did not. This is what you get with a corporate dentist office. Its about in and out. Money money money. I will not be returning. Shame on all of you.

Ive been going to the Dental Salon since they opened. Dr. Stec is an excellent practitioner. Hes done everything from simple periodontal cleanings to dental implants, all using the latest dental technology. Today I got fitted painlessly for my new implant. U highly recommend Dr. Stec and Dental Salon. You wont be disappointed.

Being able to make an appointment via text was very convient.I was also surprised at how much one on one time I got with the Dentist. Dr. Dallas was thorough, informative and very professional. I’m in my 50s so I’ve been going to the dentist for a long time. I’ve been going to dental salon for the past few years. I think this last year I’ve seen the best service ever. Wonderful experience!

This was my first extraction and a Great Experience, Friendly Staff, informative and patient. Easy peasy wisdom teeth removal. Dr. Stec, You da man !!! Keesh, you aiiight, lol no seriously you were exceptional and very precise in getting X-rays done, and prepping me ! Theresa and Ana, you guys are very hospitable, thank you. Extraction done in literally 7 Minutes, recovery was speedy and just as easy as the procedure.

My experience was ok, but some things could have been better. The dentist was about 50 minutes late, which was a little annoying. The biggest issue was that they took 11 bitewig X-rays, which feels excessive and dangerous for the patient health since X-rays cause cancer. They also had no thyroid shield. So I’m pretty upset about that. The dental hygienist was also very aggressive when flossing which hurt my gums. I’ll probably keep looking for a better dental experience.

This has been my dentist since I moved to Chicago in 2016. The staff is extremely friendly, professional and light hearted. I also completed Invisalign here and was very pleased with the outcome. Highly recommended! My last appointment for a cleaning was done in less than 30 minutes!

We have always been happy with our visits as the staff takes their time to completely explain what is going on and what options are available.
