The staff and doctor are always professional. The very first time I visited the North Michigan office, while waiting to be seen I received a very disturbing call. The staff was so gracious and took me to a part of the office where I could have some privacy. The eye doctor always is very detailed and makes sure I not only understand but that I am comfortable with the decision made for my eye care.

The experience was wonderful. In the midst of COVID-19, Rosin has taken precautionary measures to ensure the well-being of customers. I had an outstanding visit. The staff are highly professional and cordial. The timeframe to schedule my appointment was great. I like the way that staff worked with me to select several pairs of glasses. The glasses really reflect my personality. The feedback provided by staff was excellent and the follow up was the top quality and exceptional.

I absolutely heart Rosin Eye Care, I started at the Cicero location seeing Dr. Vandenbrook because I have many risk factors for Glaucoma. Dr. Vandenbrook moved to the Downers Grove location and I moved with her. Even though I dont drive I still stayed with the practice Metra took me there. :). This office has a large variety of frames, designers from Zac Posen to Gwen Stefani, but also Rayban and others.The doctors are patient and very knowledgeable in their skillset. Most recently I went to the NorthCenter location and it didnt disappoint. Great customer service and again outstanding frame selection. I only have one con, my appointment was at 10:15 and I wasnt called until 10:45. I asked the guy at the front desk to double check my appointment time and yes it was 10:15. He went on to tell me they were short staffed, I wish someone wouldve told me that w/out me asking.

I got my eyewear at HP Rosin. Couple days ago one little screw fail from my glasses at this time I was walking very close to Hyde Park location of Rosin store so I knock on the door and ask if they can fix that quickly and suggest that I will wait outside. No that was the ANSWER!!! In that store never again Really bad.

This was one of the best experiences I have ever had with a doctor. The scheduling was quick and easy, the doctor saw me half an hour early, and the appointment itself was wonderful.

Very disappointed at the behaviour of the doctor towards my husband today, she abandoned him and didnt come back while giving treatment while he was doing his eye mask (which he brought from home) that kind of neglect and careless attitude is scary and cant be tolerated as the whole point of eye compress is eyes getting heated up and the doctor should do the procedure right after that not when its already cold. Just disappeared never warned about delays.

Overall, my visit went pretty well. This was my first visit to this location due to new insurance. There were special instructions in place due to Covid posted on the wall that unfortunately I missed. There was a desk outside the entry doors, but no one was there to guide. One of the young ladies at the reception area was very abrupt when I opened the door prior to them giving me the okay to come in. The tone & manner in which the message was conveyed was very unwelcoming & somewhat condescending. I didnt look forward to the return visit to pick up my glasses because of the experience. However, the representatives that helped me pick out my glasses and then helped with the fitting were both awesome.

Went in this morning for an appointment with an Opthamalogy doctor after having some minor post-cataract surgery issues. I had done some research beforehand and had an idea of what was going on. Met with Dr. Weisberg. He was very professional and down to business. He confirmed my “self-diagnosis” and was able to take care of the problem on-site. I do not have your typical eye situations and the doctor was extremely patient with me. This was a relief, as going to the doctor in itself is stressful.I was in there for just over 2 hours but a lot of that was waiting for the drops to work and filling out paperwork. For a first visit this was standard to me and I had no issues with that.COVID procedures were fine. Temp checks at the door and everything was very clean. Front desk staff was super cool and made scheduling the follow-up appointment very easy.Despite the limitations we are all facing right now, I think Rosin did an awesome job and was exactly what I needed. I would recommend them to anyone.

Amazing customer experience! Was a pleasure dealing everyone from the receptionist, optometrist, consultants, etc. The Optometrist was so knowledgeable and made the entire session enjoyable and informative. Selecting the glass frames was quite memorable as well, I felt I was on the runway! Was so much fun! The team helped us select the perfect frames.Thank you!!

I have gone to the other offices as well as this location. I see an ophthalmologist annually and am always happy with the check ups. I wanted to get a pair or distance only this year to try out and the floor staff got me exactly what I wanted, an inexpensive pair to try out. Friendly efficient and professional. There is a reason I have stuck with them despite a move.

Everyone was so polite and extremely helpful. My optometrist is amazing and funny. Love this place.

The Covid restrictions were in place during my last visit and everything seemed to run smoothly. I wasn’t looking to change frames for my new prescription but unfortunately the frame that I had purchased last year was no longer available. While chatting with the person assisting me, I mentioned that I did have a small problem with the frame that I had purchased from Rosen a year ago, otherwise I would’ve used it with my new lenses. One of the decorative embellishments on the side of the frame popped off. When I called Rosen to inquire about what could be done about this, they basically told me that there was nothing that they could do because I did not buy insurance on the frame. I never thought that I needed to buy insurance for anything other than loss, theft or breakage...not design features on a brand new frame falling off. I was a bit disappointed that no one even tried to give me some assistance with this. It would’ve been very helpful if someone had mentioned to me that the frames were under a 2 year warranty by the manufacturer. I would’ve been able to get the frames either replaced or repaired if someone had just taken the time to help me with this.

Rosin Eyecare talks about customer service, but they are horrendous. Not only did my wife had a rude receptionist who was not willing to explain anything. I recently had a terrible encounter with the manager. My prescription was wrong, but they were not willing to see me again. My previous prescription according to them changed and so I trusted them. Got my glasses and its way off. Including the axis. Additionally my contact prescription was for a set of contacts I cant find anywhere but at the center. I feel ripped off. For a good customer experience all they had to do was see me again and fix their wrong prescription. The manager had the balls to talk about liability, when in fact they have given me the wrong prescription.

I love how profesional everyone is and how beautiful the facility as a whole is. Keep staff and even greater service!

First class operation. Im not interested in coupons or discounts, Im emphatic about professionalism and quality of service. Reminds me of the days when people cared about their customers and getting glasses and proper prescription is of utmost importance to me. So heres my take: Price, very reasonable, not the cheapest but totally fair. Regarding turnaround time, fastest Ive ever experienced. Staff, couldnt be friendlier and nicer. Took a while for me to select a facility to buy two new pair of glasses and was ecstatic that I chose Rosin Eyecare.

I really appreciate this place. They did a lot to help me get more contacts at the start of the covid-19 lockdown. Their customer service person went between me and the doctor to figure out what I needed since I couldnt get my regular contacts without an appointment, and she also took the extra step to make sure I got free samples of the new contacts that the doctor recommended.

They gave me background and knowledge on the services they were performing as they did them. They also walked me through all of my queries surround Lasik, should I go down that route. Called to make an appointment and was told I could be seen about an hour later. On arrival, I was greeted with a smile and filled out some paperwork. After the quick 3 pages, I was taken to the back waiting room and waited about 2 minutes before I was seen by the doctor. She was extremely thorough and even checked my right eye twice to make sure she had the right prescription. She answered all of my questions and was very knowledgeable and able to explain things well. Afterward I was taken to the frames area. The person helping me helped me find exactly what I wanted, and we narrowed it down to two frames. Pretty much everyone there then gave me their opinion. Everyone was very kind and eager to help. The staff also explained my insurance policy to me well and what each charge would be. Overall, it was a great experience, and Im happy that I found them.

The location is very convenient and the staff are wonderful. There was a delay in my glasses being ready and that would have been fine except I was not made aware there would be a delay until I called to verify my glasses were ready for pick up. It ended up being only a few days longer but they could have called me to let me know. Other than that, I would give them a 5 star rating!

They called me to change my appointment time due to the doctor not being available, but they were able to get me in the same day. It was very fast and efficient. Staff was very friendly.

I don’t care about cleaning or whatever. Respect is the biggest issue and important for me when I deal with anyone especially a customer.. I come today trying to use my insurance in order to get sunglasses and they refused because I have to get a prescription. I told them, I called last Friday to make an appointment for the exam and they said “ you don’t need to do exam if you are ok” but everything change when I get there. I showed them the call for last week. They wast my time and said sorry “ they don’t respect my time and I try to do everything before” you should hire someone who’s know how to talk and keep the customer.. I won’t ever come back or deal with this company.. respect my time so I can respect your but thanks god that we have other options that we can get what ever we want. 👎👎👎👎

I had my eye exam and bought my first ever pair of glasses at Rosin. Their staff is extremely friendly and professional and took the selection process serious, allowing me to take my time and really think about what I wanted and what looked good on me. They have a great selection of frames and are upfront about costs. I had gone my whole life not needing eyewear so I was unsure about the whole process and had to put a lot of trust in their hands, but it was 100% worth it. They even sent a hand-written follow up thank you card :)

I am happy that I found Rosin Eyecare. My former eye doctor passed away and I found a new doctor but it wasn’t a good fit. Dr. Benkeser was a joy to meet. She listened to me and my concerns and is very thoughtful and knowledgeable. In one visit I feel like my eyecare has been taken to a new level.

I visited the office in Naperville on Ogden Avenue because they were able to get me in right away, a few days before Christmas. I hadnt been to an eye doctor in a few years, had been planning on it, but my frames broke one evening and decision was made for me. Went on line on Monday night, appointment made for Tuesday morning, had my glasses (which I need to see more now than ever) in about ten days. Was able to pick up on New Years Eve at a location closer to my home. Great service, staff very professional and helpful, and selection was larger than I was led to believe. Would highly recommend them if in need of eye care. Will return for annual checkup.

Tried this location while visiting Chicago in October 2016. Very clean & professional office. The employees were very friendly and the doc was very approachable and knowledgeable. The place looked like it was just recently renovated, so everything looked new. Only minor annoyance was that the entrance to the building is on Erie, not Michigan Ave, so it took an extra minute to find.

I appreciated the attention I received from Jennifer when choosing my new glasses. She also did a great job straightening damaged frames.The eyeglass selection was varied and I recommend the company for the value and quality of the selection.

The providers are thorough, knowledgeable, and kind. The opticians are helpful, patient, and willing to help you find a good deal. The selection of frames is great!

Kevin Brown is an exceptional employee. I was having trouble removing my contact lens due to dry eye. He patiently took time showing me a couple of ways to remove the lens along with demonstrating how the plunger works. On another visit he asked how things were working. I said it was still problematic. He then offered some samples of a drop to put in eye prior to inserting and removing the lens. This really has worked well. The drop is far superior to Blink previously recommended. thank you, Kevin fro your interest and suggestion.

Ive been going to this place for about 3 years at the beginning everything was great. The last couple times i do not know what is going on but the front desk staff is extremely unprofessional. I called today because my trial contacts came in when i called the lady on the phone said come in we close at 6 and just hung up. So i went in and low and behold they look at my trials and tell me i need to see the doctor and make an appointment which is what the lady could have done when i called had she not been lazy and asked for my name. Now i work midnights and finding time to go there is hard enough when i do go finding parking is hell not to mention is $10 to park on the street. The doctors here have been great to me but i am done with this place because the people theyve been hiring to work the front and answer phones are straight garbage. There are plenty of optical stores Ill take my business where they treat a customer with customer service. Shame

Wonderful doctors and staff. I appreciated the personal attention to my cataract situation - surgery wouldnt provide the outcome I was looking for at this point. Also tried daily wear multi-focal contacts provided by the office, but found I preferred my 30 day contacts for more clarity.

My review is for the Rosin location in Hyde Park. have a very complicated eye issue and I was referred to Rosin Eyecare because they have a excellent reputation for handling situations like mine. Dr. Mehta is extremely knowledgeable and very attentive. i like the fact that she does not mind answering questions. When I arrive for appointments there is never a long wait or a waste of time. From the moment I walk in, I feel like I am a priority.

My appointment was at the Streamwood, IL location Very professional on time service. Everyone treated me like I was their most important client. They are friendly and very helpful. If I had any complaint it would be they way the frames are displayed the most expensive ones are given prominent positions and least expensive are hard to find had to ask for help finding them. I have several eye problems and felt the exam covered everyone of them. I have great confidence in how thorough the exam was. I would highly recommend them.

I have been to Rosins Michigan Ave location twice, once this past winter for my initial eye exam, and this July, seeking a contact lens fitting. I had a pleasant exam with Dr. Szafranski, who was attentive and patient. Also, Kevin Brown was very helpful in orientating me to the process and making me feel at ease in the office. I was comfortable enough coming back this summer for a follow up appointment despite my general anxiety about certain doctor appointments.

I was able to book an appointment the next day. The eye doctor was very nice and the appointment was easy and quick. The woman who helped me find glasses was very patient and kind. Everyone was very nice and made for an easy appointment and choosing glasses.

Dr. Graves is the guy to see if you wear gas permeable contacts! I had seen another optometrist (not at Rosin) and had gone back multiple times because the lens didnt fit correctly. She ultimately gave up and sent me to Dr. Graves. He got it right the first time! Everyone in the office was helpful and professional. Ill definitely be back for my future eye exams.That said, my glasses have taken a MONTH to make and are still not ready. Ive been told multiple times that theyll be ready in a day or two, then they arent. So maybe ilI go to Dr. Graves for the exam and contacts, but buy glasses somewhere else next time.

Ive been going to the location on Michigan Ave. for about 3 years and have greatly enjoyed it. The staff is always professional and kind, and the doctors could not be more helpful. Greatly recommend for anyone looking for professional and very informative eye care.

Great collection, not so great staff & serviceThey have a great collection of eyewear & pricing. The staff however is not so focused customer service. The person I was assisted by was not just unfriendly but actually made some not so nice comments around the process. Moreover, they need 10 - 12 days to get my frame ready whereas Accuvision needs 2 days.I wouldnt buy again.

I was in town for a football game and was having problems with my left eye that I thought were serious. I was trying to find a place to go and called eye doctors listed in the downtown area. The Rosin Eyecare clinic was able to see me right away which was both convenient and comforting.

We were in town on vacation and my son forgot his contacts. They were very helpful in getting some replacement samples so he could enjoy the weekend. I highly recommend them.

Very Slow turnaround - due to an attempt to nickle and dime on inventory costs most likley. Rosen Eyecare has the multiple location footprint and optical insurance contracts of a large scale regional optical company, but still has 2-3 weeks turnaround on glasses. I ordered replacement glasses and was told 1-2 weeks. It is now going to be ~3 weeks of my squinting at a computer screen versus luxotica being able to do almost all glasses same day. I understand that Rosen only has 1 lab, but fedex is 1 day either way, so one lab is not the issue.The issue is they reorder the frames from the manufacturer (1-2 week lag time), instead of using the frames that you try on in the store. Then instead of inventorying common lenses with a reflective coating, they wait to coat your frames until the whole thing is in stock, so that adds another 3 days drying time to the lenses. This is stupid, just coat the lenses at the same time ordered and use the frames the person tries on in the store and the turnaround would be 3-5 days including shipping from the central lab.That said, because of their insurance contracts, they know they have a captive customer base, so they dont need to compete on speed. Anyway, if you want something fast with premium brands go to Lenscrafters, if you want a 2-3 week wait and if your insurance gives you few options then go to Rosen.

Getting eyeglasses here was a breeze. I walked in, chose the frames I liked, provided prescription, and they were available in a week. They accepted my insurance, were very friendly, and have great office hours. I would recommend Rosin to anybody!

The staff is super friendly and so helfpul when trying to arrange visits. They also follow up frequent to make sure you are properly reminded for your appointments, especially if you are getting lasiks. Overall, HIGHLY recommend.

My eye doctor is great - personable, friendly, and knowledgible - and the manager goes out of her way to make sure patients and customers feel welcome and respected. As a consultant, I travel weekly for work and scheduling appointments isnt always easy. After a difficult experience scheduling (and rescheduling) a follow-up appointment, the manager went out of her way to call, appologize, and fix the situation. Its positive experiences like that you may not find at other offices / stores.

Marvelous doctor who was thoughtful and not overly aggressive about immediate treatment ... sorry to lose last doctor to California but seem to have done as well or better ... wifes last experience was special and expect the same as we move ahead ... slowly for my wife but more rapidly for myself

An overall lack of professionalism, concern for a patients well being, and an inability to effectively communicate amongst themselves all translate into a VERY poor patient experience. For the most part the staff is unapologetic, disorganized, unprofessional, and sometimes rude. Their pricing structure has recently change causing some procedures to cost 4X what they did a year ago. Taken all together, it should lead one to question whether this is the right group of people to entrust with ones eyesight.

Great place for all your eye care. Dr. Tailor helped out with all my questions and concerns. Although I would say they are a little pricey, you get top notch service.

Since I began wearing glasses/contacts. Rosin has been my preferred eyecare company. The staff are always polite and professional. I have Keratoconus which requires me to have specialized treatment and the doctors I’ve had past and present are very knowledgeable of my condition and really meticulous with my specific needs. Dr. Kowalski serviced me most recently and he was excellent! He trippled checked everything to ensure I had the proper prescription and fit for my specialized- medically necessary contact lenses. I highly recommend Rosin Eyecare (North Michigan Ave).

I went in for my yearly eye exam and contracted a serious case of conjunctivitis the next day. Apparently the procedures used for cleanliness failed. Sadly, it cost me $50 for treatment since insurance doesnt cover. I asked Rosin for reimbursement, they politely declined and told me that surely I contracted the disease somewhere else.
