We’ve been sending our child here for a little over 6 months and could not love it more! Our son doesn’t even glance back at us at drop off, he is too eager to see his friends and get started on his new adventures for the day. Each week has a theme with complimentary art, music, books and activities. It’s the perfect environment to keep your little one engaged, independent and helps grows their curiosity. The team is absolutely fantastic at Nook West Town as well! You’re making the best decision when you choose to send your child here.

My daughter has been going here for about a month and I have to say its been the absolute best decision for her development and care. Truly, my husband and I are so happy to have found the Nook West town! As a first time mom, I was worried about where to get the best care for my daughter developmentally, emotionally, and health wise. All of the teachers are extremely easy to contact and communicate with, they send so many updates daily on how shes eating/sleeping/playing (even cute videos and pictures!). They answer my questions and offer advice when I ask for it - which always works and helps us at home. I was worried about how my daughter would do in a world full of masks (they have great sanitary precautions here!) since she is a COVID baby and hadnt seen many people in masks much during her first few months of life. Much to my joy, she has adapted wonderfully. The teachers clearly care and love my little girl; she smiles every time she sees them for drop off and pickup. She is extra cuddly with them too! Our family sees our daughter progressing in her development and we love finding out the weekly themes for her classes (songs, books, sensory activities, outside time, etc.). My friends and family are also so impressed when I tell them about the Nook and show them all that shes doing! We are beyond thankful to have our daughter there and would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone!

As an employee, I would like to say that I love working here. It brings me joy having such a wonderful and dedicated team. They all bring their own set of quality’s to this space, making it a positive and healthy working environment. Individually reaching a child’s physical, emotional and educational needs is something we have been doing successfully and strive to continue doing day by day. The relationship and communication between the parents, students and staff members is terrific. I have so much love for our children and coworkers , I could not have asked for a better place to be

I have to admit, as a first time mom I was dreading the idea of sending my 5 month old to daycare and returning to work. I was nervous about how he would sleep, how he would eat, if he would develop and get the love and attention I wanted him to have.. basically worried about everything! However, after sending our son to Nook West Town these last 4 months, I cant tell you how happy I am. First and foremost, they communicate so well with parents. They answer all of my questions, give regular updates on how our son is doing (what he is eating, how long he slept, any new observations, what kind of activities he is participating in). Emily is the infant room lead and she is so wonderful about giving advice and tips when it comes to how he is doing and things we could be trying at home, which I very much appreciate. It is so obvious to me that she and the other teachers (Ms. Fushawnda and Ms. Deja) really love and care for him. Everyday at drop off he lights up in a big smile when he sees them and couldnt be happier when I pick him up. He has made so many developmental leaps while in their care as well, and I am certain it is due to all of the fun daily activities they do. I honestly dont know how they come up with all of them but they are SO creative. From sensory activities like body painting and art projects, to daily songs and reading times.. all coordinated in weekly themes! They really do such a wonderful job. We love the Nook West Town!

Our daughter has attended the Nook since she was 1, we have loved every minute. She started in the infant room and is now in the toddler room. The activities are engaging and creative every day. They communicate through the app which is awesome, we get to see pictures and updates throughout the day. All the teachers and director have been wonderful, I would highly recommend sending your child here.

We randomly stumbled upon the Nook while using their Hopping In program (which is seriously a life-saver for parents!) to enroll our 13 month old daughter for several days, and we were so impressed that we decided to enroll her full-time several months later. We absolutely love this daycare facility. The director, Pavlina, and her wonderful team of teachers have really gone above and beyond to provide outstanding care, and have been diligent in communicating with the parents during the uncertainty of the pandemic. The teachers use the Brightwheel app to send updates to the parents throughout the day, and it is such a joy to get pictures and videos of them throughout the day. We are so impressed by the creativity that goes into planning the daily activities, as well as how loving, patient and attentive the staff are. Our daughter is truly thriving here, and we feel so fortunate to have found this facility. This daycare is the best!

I love working at this daycare! The Nook’s Reggio education style makes my job as a creative person and teacher all the more enjoyable. The teamwork at this center guarantees that every child has their educational, emotional, and physical needs met. Management has a great relationship with their staff and parents and is a large part of why there are so many wonderful people working in their centers. The Nook West Town is brimming with potential and love for their students and I can only hope that our center continues to grow :)

The communication is top quality, they send photos and videos of our son throughout the day, and they support diversity and inclusivity. We are so glad we chose The Nook!

I`ve been working for Nook Childcare company for almost seven years, and as an employee prospective I cant express my gratitude and affection to this company! The staff, the owner - Sholom, the general manager- Mandy, are always there to help, support, and uplift any hard working employee! Every year we have Nooksgiving, and many more reasons to gather and be as a family! The motto for the company is Love, Learn, Collaborate and we represent it in every daycare center of ours!In Nook West Town I met such hard working, loving, dedicated teachers like Emily, Kathy, and Jose, and I am beyond proud to call them part of my team! My little nugget has been going to Nook since she was around 6 months old as a drop-in at the Bucktown location. There is literally NO other daycare I could find in this city that had this type of program where you could go online and look for openings on Hopping In for the next day to use the daycare. IT IS GENIUS! Anyway, as she grew older it grew harder for me to bring her with me for work so we spent more and more time dropping in until I bit the bullet and just enrolled her part time as a 2 year old at Nook West Town. First of all, this location is so close to my house in Ukrainian Village its much easier to get there and back in the morning. Secondly, everything is brand new. The facility is filled with light and close to a large park that is empty 99% of the time and newly built. The #1 reason I continued with the Nook is the director Stephanie. When we were in Bucktown she was all hands on deck, managing all these kids and adults and parents which is no easy feat. I distinctly remember walking into her carrying my little fat baby around the toddler room so they could start cleaning up the littles room at the end of the day. As a business owner, I appreciated that she was organized and could have easily had my one baby hold up the entire process of an entire end of day room clearing until I arrived but instead grabbed her and made her at home in her arms. I toured a few schools before she turned 2, all of which were more expensive, and I still kept coming back to the Nook. The other daycares felt too stuffy for me or too crowded. The Nook West town toddler room only has a few kids right now and I am milking every second of it! The Regio (?) model is followed but they also learn real life skills. Also they serve breakfast, lunch and snacks plus use Brightwheel for communication. We are very happy here especially the ratio right now in the toddler room is about 4/1 so you are in a great position to start. Even if you did part time, its easy to add extra days if you need to. Very happy and our daughter loves going to School shes learning a ton that I frankly dont have time to teach her.

Our daughter has been attending Nook West Town for a little over two months and we couldn’t be happier with our choice in daycare. As a first time mom I was nervous to drop her off, but within minutes of her arrival each day the staff upload photos of her engaged in the activities they have planned. Each week has a theme with a corresponding daily lesson involving a book, music, sensory play, and fine/gross motor development. The staff is wonderful and we love it here!If you’re looking for a daycare, look no further.
