Dr. Qazi has been one of the most caring and compassionate doctors I have seen. He takes time to answers all questions and never seems to be in a hurry. My 102 year old mother was his patient. He went above and beyond what any doctor would do. She loved him and so do I.

The doctors really know what theyre doing. I gave them three stars because 3 out of 4 times I come to the office, I waste at about an hour of my time waiting. And if they would have a list of where youre at in the queue that would go a long way to help and theres no one to ask usually cuz theyre too busy

Dr. Rieger is an excellent diagnostician. I woke up with broken blood vessels in my eye. The office got me right in. Dr. Rieger told me what it was and gave me advice to relieve the discomfort.

This was my wifes appointment and she said everyone was very nice and doctor was also cute. she had missed her scheduled appt. but they still were able to get her in.

I was very pleased with my visit at Pepose Vision Institute for an annual eye exam. My visit started on time, and Dr. Rieger gave me a thorough exam and also answered all my questions. He also volunteered information on which vitamins would be useful in my situation, and which would not. I also appreciated that there was a way I could pay for an image, and not have to undergo a dilation. Finally, I would like to give a shout out to the young lady who scheduled my appointment. During our phone conversation, she gave me great information on how to deal with the very dangerous left turn issue when you are driving away from the office.

I’ve never been treated so well. I recommend to a lady to get laser surgery due to my success. She thought she was to old. I explained how I feel younger because I can see so much better. She took the card and ran downstairs to make an appointment.

COmpletely disappointed. I have been going to Pepose for several years now. Initially for eye surgery and every since for follow ups and vision exams. Dr. Qazi. I have to have an annual check up for medical reasons so every year when I am there I schedule one for the next year. So everyone knows it will be coming. This year I received a surprise.Rather than keeping my appointment I receive a call a week before letting me know Dr. Qazi needs to cancel my appointment to me surprise. The reason he scheduled a surgery appointment. Now mind you it was told to me it was an emergency especially since it would still be a week out.So putting off a promised appointment that was made a year prior I get cancelled. WHile on the phone speaking to the receptionist she mentioned if I can see a different Dr. she would see what she could do. I was relieved since I had already scheduled time off work that I could not easily recover if I had to miss my appointment (made a year ago). She found one and made it for the same time as the original. All was good, I wouldnt lose me promised appointment form a year prior no adjustment to the time I already took off work.Then the Monday before the appointment I get another phone call telling me they need to cancel my appointment. I think surely this is a mistake and call back as soon as I can. No mistake, they said the Dr. they moved me to decided to not be available afternoon that day and my appointment was at 3pm. I about fell over. So twice you cancel an appointment made a a year prior within a week of the appointment.I spoke with the office manager, informed her of what has happened and how this will cost me money and reminded her this appointment was made a year prior and now at the last minute without time for me to make other arrangements you cancel on me. Of course Im extremely upset. SO she was going to speak with the Dr. whom I was transferred to and get back with me. Tick Tock Tick Tock. No return calls. I call the following day and ask to speak with her. She gets on the line and informs me well I hadnt called back because I have not had a chance to speak with the Dr.With extreme disappointment that told me how much concern they really have about me as a patient and how concerned they were about keeping their word. Completely lost my trust and respect at that time.I informed her amongst all her apologize (like that really helps) to not bother the Dr. and waste his time asking if anyone could inconvenience there selves for me after a year in waiting. I would simply find another business to go to, so she neednt worry.Disappointing, but I will not be going back or recommending Pepose Vision.

I would not go to any other for my important eye care. What a wonderful group of doctors and staff. I annually drive 600 miles one way to have my eyes examined at the Pepose Vision Institute. You cannot find better eyecare in the world. I have been truly blessed because a friend in Belleville, Illinois told me about Jay Pepose and his institute. Dr. Rieger tended to me on my last visit. You can have no better reference for your talent, skill and character that being a part of the Pepose Vision Institute.

Excellent staff and very thorough eye exam appointment before cataract surgery next month. I did have very long wait times (1/2 hour after being seated in exam room until a staff member came into the room to take records, then 1/2 hour after records until Dr Pepose came into the room). I would still highly recommend Pepose Vision because of their expertise and earlier excellent results with previous treatments.

Horrible , i visited this place for eye doctor examination and check up. First of all, once i was still asking doctor questions a nurse barged in and started looking for something on shelves was very awful, made me think they have some kind of stop watch by what they track doctors time with patient or does doctor have some secret button to ask to be barged in if they feel we cant cut deep pocket. They ran lot of all tests and kept on keeping record of each thing. After visit when i requested for record copy i was asked that i have to pay for that plus 3 times i had to call for same reason afterwards. Ultimately they said i need make another appointment for vision test then only....i gave up blah blah blah . I didnt get my records. Horrible humans. They only look to your pocket how to empty that STAY ALERT FOR THERE CON SUGAR COATED TALK.

Going Pepose Vision Institute was a lesson in how an office and staff should be picked and ran. The staff both in the Office and the Surgery Center were extremely professional and at the same time caring. They are always willing to answer any questions you may have either about a procedure or aftercare. They are also very understanding if you have issues such as PTSD. They go out of their way to make you feel as secure and comfortable as possible. Dr. Pepose goes over ever detail and addresses any question or concern you may have either about testing or if needed surgical procedure, including before and aftercare.As far as I am concerned they are the epitome of Eye Care both in Knowledge and Care for their patients. My husband went to his appointment (has gone there numerous times over the years). Needed new prescription but now they wanted to charge him $69 additional to write out the script. Really??? I thought we paid for the appointment? Want a doctor to explain? No, unless doc isnt going to CHARGE for what I was paying for by going there in the first place. Nope, sorry. Being generous for the 2nd star.Unbelievable and unprofessional. Sad to be so disappointed when have previously been a happy client.

My husband has been a patient of Dr Holekamp for many years. She is an excellent doctor. She is not only very knowledgeable but she is good with her patients. She always listens and takes time to explain the treatment and diagnosis. She always answers any questions that you may have. We drive from Evansville, Indiana to see her which is about 3hrs each way. We do this because we trust her with his vision. She is also up to date on new treatments.

All doctors’ offices are sweating the details of minimizing Covid exposure. This one is no exception. The “desk” up front was a little chaotic—screening questions had to be asked, temp had to be taken, papers (why so many?) had to be passed back and forth, payments handled. Invest in electronic record keeping. Your staff will thank you for it. You could even get online registration, and skip the shake down at the door. Your patients will thank you. It is so tedious filling out the same forms each visit. With EMR, you could simply update the changes. I really had a good experience with my clinicians, they were 5 stars. Check in, and the girls at the eyeglass store were 2 stars each. The latter couldn’t be bothered with so much as a “Hello, may I help you?”

I’m disappointed and do not recommend. First Visit. Be aware of these issues as they will not be communicated to you. Plus, allow 45 minutes in an oddly empty waiting room to see your eye Dr.First, if u want a copy of your records and treatment plan emailed, u must send pymt of a “records fee,” unless u want to use patient portal web which isn’t working and no one knows why. Second issue, when an Appt is made, ask for complete exam because if u have an issue you want addressed, they treat that issue ONLY and any routine tests will be scheduled for another day and u pay office visit fee again. I also found out by speaking with another eye doctor that the procedure Pepose recommended for cure is actually not a cure, requires repeated treatment and is not normally covered by insurance. Did I misunderstand? Can’t get the records to see. Please, Pepose Vision Chesterfield, don’t rest on your laurels and set your customers expectations up front so you earn your claim of being the best.

The office is well managed!!!There is seldom a wait.The staff is excellent!!!When I called for a post operation question they got back to me within the hour. When I needed extra eyedrops they provided them.Dr. Pepose did my Lasic procedure in 1998 and I am pleased to have had him do the cataract surgery and with the new premium lenses now in 2021!

I have always had excellent care at Pepose V.I, Except on my last visit 01/06/ 2021 I did wait 40 minutes in the exam room after vision was checked until Dr.Qavi came. I had lasik surgery in 2001 with Dr. Pepose and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I had been wearing glasses and contacts since 2nd grade and my eyes were pretty bad. Nineteen years later, I developed cataracts and decided that the best place to go to get them removed was back to Dr. Pepose. Im glad I had both lasik and cataract surgeries with him and could not say enough about the pleasant and helpful staff from the front office, to the scheduling office, to the lady taking my temperature because of covid. Its not the cheapest place to go, but I dont want to take any chances where my eyes are concerned. Very professional, very clean, and very up-to-date on the latest procedures and information.

Dr. Holekamp did a wonderful job on my husbands retina eye surgeries. She listened and understood what my husband was explaining to her on what he was experiencing with his vision. She went into great detail on what was happening with his eyes and how she was going to repair the retinas. Dr. Rieger does an excellent job in examining our eyes yearly and explaining any changes we may have with our vision.

The physicians at Pepose Vision are the best. I personally am a patient of Dr. Qazi, Dr. Holekamp and Dr. Rieger. The care I’ve received over the years is exceptional including multiple retina and cornea surgeries. It’s the “one-stop shop” for eye care.

Although we have been very happy with Dr Holekamp, I am very frustrated with the Pepose Institute. We go regularly for eye shots and have been going regularly during this Pandemic shut down, following all the rules of wearing masks, taking temps, social distancing etc. That is no problem. However now at this appointment they have decided for no logical reason that I cant accompany my 90 year old mostly blind mother. Why this change? I checked in, had my temp taken, had on a mask, and was sitting with her in an empty waiting room, when suddenly they decided I couldnt be there and made me leave. At 90 years old, my mother needs me there to hear what the doctor has to say and to help her get from place to place. At no time was I a danger to anyone. There was absolutely no one else in the room and we were following all COVID rules. VERY disappointed in their LACK OF CONCERN FOR THEIR PATIENTS just to appear politically correct.

Ive never had a bad experience here. I had lasik years ago by Dr. Pepose and recently had the Lipiflow done for my dry eyes. It worked! I can actually see if I look closely the natural lubrication coming from my glands. Your eyes are covered the entire time (12 minutes) but there was a wonderful tech who talked to me the whole time. I used to use expensive Xiidra drops but this gets to the root of the dry eye problem which is a healthier way to go. Wish I had done this years ago.

Dr Rieger and staff were great! He took the time to make sure my contact lens fit was good and is ordering some small correction. It’s been a couple of days and my lens feel great. I’ve not been able to wear contact lenses until now. Due to my condition other lenses were very uncomfortable after a short period of time. Pepose vision took the necessary tests to determine my condition. I was not a candidate for lasik, but they were able to fit me with very comfortable scleral contact lenses. Definitely recommend Pepose for your vision professionals.

My experience at Pepose Vision Institute has been a good one so far. I have only been through the testing and consultation at this point, but the staff is great and very helpful. I do plan to have surgery there as well. I will keep you posted on how that goes.

I had been wanting to switch from glasses to contacts for sometime, but was unable to because of my dry eyes. Dr Branstetter explained how he could rectify my dry eye issue with an in office treatment. I had the procedure done with great success. I have been wearing contacts now for a couple months with no complications. Thank you Dr Branstetter.

My visit was prompt and professional. I was especially impressed with my young intern. She was thorough, competent and friendly. I very much enjoyed my time with her and felt well cared for. Of course my doctor was excellent as well. I tell all my friends that if they must have cataract surgery they should definitely come to Pepose .

Re: cataract surgery with lens implant (left eye) - everything was first-class - diagnosis, explanation of procedure, risks, pre op instructions and ordering of eye-drops, the operation itself, post op instructions and follow up appointments - everything was on-time and well done - just cant beat their courtesy and competence! Looking forward to reviewing again after surgery on the right -eye (today!)

Incredible (UN) Ethics at this InstituteI called to make an appt for Cataract Surgery. I was told that I needed to have Exam, etc prior. I inquired, and they checked, to see if I was in network. Indeed I was, I was told, by them and my insurance.So I went through all the diagnostics -- and then -- when the diagnostics were completed and I was trying to schedule for the Cataract surgery (as was my chief concern from day one) -- I was told that the Surgery Center was in a separate network!!! And that I was NOT in that network!!!All of this money that I spent (after insurance), not to mention the time and the inconvenience, was completely useless -- because other opthalmalogy clinics need to do their own diagnostics.Pepose knows this -- it is incredibly UNETHICAL not to tell me, when I call in to obtain Cataract surgery, that their diagnostic clinic is separate from the surgical clinic ... and that they are both in separate networks.Worse than all of this unethical behavior was the snarky incredibly smug and unsympathetic billing manager - Elena. She is incredibly bad to work with. She would offer not even the slightest compromise on something so unethical. The whole operation seems scummy.Bottom Line -- this is a money hungry operation. They do not care about their patients!!!

So far, great, i will be getting surgery done in December for cataract and fuchs dystrophy, and i have confidence i will be taken care of.

Dr Reiger and Nick did a great job with my eyecare and answered all of my questions. They had good Covid procedures in place.

Dr Crews did a great job treating my chalazion issue. Never had it before and hopefully I won’t have it again-but other than the discomfort of the procedure-no pain or issues following the procedure and I’m about a month out. Highly recommend them

I had Symphony lenses (to see near, far and even in-between) implanted in both of my eyes due to cataracts. I am delighted with the result - no more nighttime glare, a renewed ability to read street signs and no readers for books, newspapers and restaurant menus - as long as the lighting is reasonable. They measured and remeasured and then remeasured again before the surgeries - they spent 3 hours with me! No wonder the outcome has been so great!

Saw Dr. Qazi! He was very professional and knowledgeable. I had been to 2 other doctors, including my family physician and the Optometrist and was getting no where fast! Dr Qazi made a quick diagnosis, did some test and identified the problem and referred me to a surgeon to do a DCR procedure!The only downside of Pepose Vision was the amount of paper work that was needed to be filled out! It seems to be the norm during these pandemic days!

Dr. Rieger is Wonderful! He explains everything yet listens to your concerns. Also, Alanna (the manager of optical) is Fantastic! She knows how to correctly fit you! After two other disastrous experiences at other optical places, where they had to make 3 and 4 pairs of glasses for me (none of them worked), I will ALWAYS go to Pepose (1.5 drive each way for me). They do it right!
