If i could go 0 stars I would. I took my 3 week old son here to have a severe lip and tongue tie release. After the procedure was done I was assured by the doctor and staff it was good and done correctly. though i was still having pain feeding him. I took him to a speech therapist and come to find out it was not done correctly. He still has a tongue and lip tie. I now have to put my newborn through ANOTHER procedure at a different dentist who I know will listen to us and get it done correctly.

The entire staff at both this location and Laskin are amazing. Dr Boyland is great. I have always had a major anxiety over dentist all my life . From my first contact with Shelia to my discussion of treatment options with Dr Boykand , extractions and the follow ups this practice has been amazing. Process for me is almost done . I have an will continue to recommend family an friends to this caring understanding and stellar staff of professionals.

Dr. Broylan’s office is the best! The genuine warmth and care from the front desk to the hygienist to the doctor is excellent. The front desk always wants to make sure you have the best coverage from your insurances. Kristy is the most gentle and kind hygienist. The whole staff is just nice. Appreciate the doctors and hygienists looking out for care of teeth as well as gums and oral issues. Never have pushed products or procedures that you may not need. Thank you for being so great!

I went to RB Comprehensive Dentistry for about 2 years or so after the practice sold. Everyone was nice. However, after my experience surrounding a filling I will not be back. I had also decided to keep my opinion/experience to myself as I thought the issue was handled... however, a year later I just got a bill regarding the charges from Sept 3, 2019 which means it was not taken care of as I was led to believe. Story time: their error meant xrays ahead of schedule & redoing a filling. I told them I did not want xrays because issue was not bothersome enough to warrant the out of pocket expense when I was due for xrays in 6 months. I protested but ultimately gave in after some convincing as they were worried there could be a larger issue. Xrays revealed there was an issue with how the filling was done last time & they said they would redo it at no expense as it was their error - great! I go in, they fix it, & Im told owe my portion out of pocket... sorry, what? I was then told he did additional work to the other side of the tooth that was unrelated and I owe for that. This was NOT discussed prior but whatever, Ill pay it and be done with them. Nope, get a bill for the xrays a couple weeks later... I called them, explained the situation for the 12th time, was told they would discuss writing the amount off as xrays were only needed due to their error & get back to me if I owed. No call back, no additional bills in the mail. I move on with my life with a new dentist... now a year later I have an overdue bill. It isnt the cost that is the issue it is how the ENTIRE issue was handled start to finish that warrants this review.

The whole staff is great and friendly. Dr. Patel is professional while at the same time creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. He is knowledgeable and does great work.

Very small practice, but very personable and welcoming! First impressions matter (whether or not we try to admit they dont) and as soon as I spoke with the front desk I knew choosing to come here was a great idea. The hygienist was very informative and the doctor that was in took the time to explain everything to me. I have gone to other practices around here (I wont name drop) and at that other location I felt like just another number in their system. If you are looking for a practice who truly cares about you and your health, call them now! They arent the most up-to-date in terms of technology, but I like that I dont feel like I am walking into a huge clinic, and besides - all that matters is that I have healthy teeth and a good doctor.

Both Dentist and Hygienist were completely professional, courteous and timely. After visiting Hygienist, that accommodated me by squeezing me in to get a chipped tooth filled. The Hygienist (sorry, but I forget her name) was one of the most professional, likable and knowledgable Hygienists I have ever dealt with. Thanks for the great experience.

Since recently changing dental providers I have received more detail explanations relating to my x-rays (teeth conditions) and also recently offered a fluoride treatment which I had not been offered before at other practices. I feel that cleanings are also more thorough here too. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable.

Already made an appointment for my little sister! I had my bottom wisdom teeth removed and they both healed very well. They also did a great job on my cleanings.

Love my hygienist Kristi and the office staff. So nice and the upgrades over the last few years are such a huge improvement. Dr Boylan has done a fantastic job with the practice and brought in some other wonderful dentists.

The staff is always great. They play nice music. And they usually see you promptly. I usually hate the dentist but they make me feel at ease.

Dr Boylan is the best dentist Ive ever had. I have been with him since he took over the practice years ago. He keeps up to date with the latest technology and ensures any pain is minimized if not totally eliminated.

Fike, JamesI have been a patient at the office located off Cedar Road in Chesapeake since 2007. Dr. Boyland bought the business a few years ago and has improved and updated the office ever since. My dental hygienist name is Chaz and she is excellent. She is very thorough and professional. She is a true asset to this practice. I recommend this practice highly.

I had an implant put in and it was so easy and fast my doctor was fantastic everyone that works there so personable and friendly that is the only place I will go it also is a one-stop-shop they do it all thereGwen dejesus

The staff is very friendly and I felt welcome there. Out of all the dentistries Ive ever been to, this has been the best. When I called about the tooth pain I was experiencing, they were even able to get me in that week.

New Post: Once again, I gave Dr Boylan an opportunity to demonstrate his Dental Profession Mastery. For years, hes babied my 2 front teeth with precision restorative fillings, mostly around the edges. Finally, it was time to replace them with crowns. Ive had crowns in the back of my mouth, but never in the front. The temporaries he made were perfect and had to last for a month. Before installing the crowns, he said that many times, the crowns might not be just right the first time. We do them until he and I are satisfied. Needless to say, the first time was absolutely perfect. They look better that the originals. Thanx, once more, to Dr Boylan and his incredible team of Dental Professionals!!

Wow...how could I possibly sum up how fantastic Dr. Boylans practice is from the front office to the back with Dr. Boylan himself to his assistants without writing a book of praises....this will be difficult, but here it goes. Ive extreme anxiety when it comes seeing the dentist. Ive got horror stories, way to many that one person should have. Collapsed root canals that one dentist did not do properly. Bone spurs that caused infections. Horror stories. I was with Dr. Soloman practice for over 25 years since I was 5 years old. So when he retired I had to find someone new. 4 different dental practices, all horror situations, I was in despair. I was in dire need at this point for a dentist due to some bad dental work that had been done and letting it fall way side to get it repaired due to the situation it had put me in. So after nearly 2 weeks of dedicated research, calling and actually sitting down with a couple dentist themselves....I found Dr. Boylan! Talk about a calm ocean after going through a white squall of a storm. The office staff is kind, caring and considerate, always smiling! His dental assistants who are funny and explain how and what will be done for that visit, they give a very warm welcoming vibe and unbeknown ease my anxiety levels so much. Now Dr. Boylan...amazing chair side manner. Hes through in his explanations on what he has to do and how it will benefit me and my teeth health, he discusses how it will feel, recovery time, and so forth...totally gives me comfort. Ive had a few appointments thus far with Dr. Boylan...teeth extraction, cavity fillings and all have been Amazing! Like I never thought I could say that about ANY dental practice, yet here I am...one who would tremble and break out into a sweat of panic over the dentist. My recovery time has been quicker and easier then anything Ive ever experienced. Dr. Boylan is gentle, considerate of your feelings, very thorough in his procedures. You can really tell he enjoys his job and cares about his patients. He has truly eased my anxiety and fears of going to the dentist. A true miracle worker and to boot very easy on the eyes 😆 I am a forever patient with Dr. Boylan and his practice of amazing people. If you think you have a great dentist, you havent been to Dr. Boylans practice....hands down the BEST in the 757!! And theres the book I tried not to write of a review. Now go make an appointment with this practice! Itll be the best dental decision youve ever made! I promise.

It was easy for me to book my appointment online and get seen right away. Waiting room was clean and staff was friendly. I was seen right on time by the doctor and received great service. Would gladly recommend Dr. Boylan and his team to my friends and family.
