I have been wearing multifocal rigid gas permeable (RGP) contact lenses since 2009. The first pair I got (from an eye doctor is south Florida) were great. When I moved from Florida she told me that these lenses were difficult to fit and to have my new eye doctors call her if they needed help. Over the next 10 years, I went to several different eye doctors and none of them were able to give me lenses that allowed me to see well so I ended up hundreds of dollars out of pocket each time because these lenses are expensive -- and none of them ever asked for her help. After moving to Chattanooga I was starting to plan a trip to go back to Florida for new contacts. I asked for local referral from my new neighborhood and Amy Lackey came highly recommended. So I tried her. It only took one re-prescription and I can see well again! I am so happy, and would highly recommend her to anyone needing RGP multifocal lenses.

Dr. Lackey has been my eye doctor for 25+ years. She is friendly, kind, and caring as well as very knowledgable. Unlike most doctors, she doesnt rush through your appointment but instead takes time to ask you questions and explain what she finds. Dr. Lackey is wonderful! She has been my eye doctor for many years and always takes plenty of time with me to make sure I am getting the best attention to my eyes possible. She is always willing to fit me in if I have an issue like I did yesterday. I felt like I had possibly scratched my eye with my contact. Dr. Lackey worked me in that day and eased my mind that it was only extremely irritated and time and drops would heal it.Her follow up is top notch and she makes me feel valued as a patient. I have several eye issues - dry eyes, issues due to RK from 25 years ago before I saw Amy, I am very hard to fit for contacts - but Amy is always there to find solutions to whatever issue I might have at the time. On top of being knowledgeable, she is kind, caring, thorough, and trustworthy.I happily give Dr. Lackey a 5 star review. Her willingness to go above and beyond is why I trust her and appreciate having her as my eye doctor.

Much improved!! Now that Amy Lackey is the provider over this clinic, I have received incredible service!! She is personable, caring, detailed, and thorough. My visit went so well, I decided to make her my primary optometrist. She fitted my contact and even sent me a text message inquiring how I was adjusting to the fitting. 5 stars is not enough to represent Amy Lackey and the level of care I have received from her. She has been my optometrist for many years, but recently she found a retinal tear and detachment that was so difficult to see, the surgeon who operated was amazed. I trust Amy to give me superior care for my vision and highly recommend her!

I appreciate the determination that Dr. Lackey showed in treating me and getting to the bottom of vision problems. Needless to say, after a couple of visits and some testing, I am seeing better than I have in years. Her willingness to go above and beyond is extraordinary considering the time restraints put on the medical field these days. She treated me as if I were her only patient and wanted to get to the source of my vision difficulties as much as I did. I feel so much more secure in my vision now. I visited Eyeglasses, Inc in January 2017. It is now the last of August and I never received my glasses. Every time I went by or called to check on my glasses, Roger would tell me to just give him a couple of days. The first time he actually had my glass in about 2-3 weeks. But I couldnt see anything with the glasses because they failed to add my prescription. He told me he was sending them back to have the prescription added. Needless to say, that never happened. Finally after 5 months I asked for my money back but he begged me to give him a few more days and I did. Every time I checked back with him, he always said give me a few more days. I knew at this point that something terrible was going on. So here it is now mid August. I asked for my money back once again and once again he begged me to give him 2 more days. This was on a Tuesday. I confirmed that it was for sure to be 2 days and he said yes, but he asked if I would give him until Friday and I did. When I called on Friday he was not there. He never had the decency to even call and say that the glasses were not there. I always had to take the initiative to call him and I had already paid for my glasses in full and the insurance had paid their part. On that next Monday he supposedly gave me a check go $90.00 and I questioned him and asked if I paid more than 90 bucks and he denied it. I checked my statement from January and I had pd him 125.00 plus insurance payment. I went back on Monday and showed him my statement. He gave me a check for the balance of my money. I put it in the bank and it bounced. Roger is a terrible businessman and I would not recommend him to anyone.

I am 28 yrs old and have Keratoconus, it is a condition that effects my cornea. For eight years Ive been told I wouldnt ever see 20/20 again. I visited Dr Mayo and he informed me he can get me to see 20/20, IT HAS BEEN TO MONTHS AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT ORDERED MY CONTACTS. I was so thrilled with the news, but waiting this long is unacceptable. I have called them weekly and was told each time that they would be in on Monday or Tuesday, Id call back on Wednesday and be told the exact same thing.4/25/2017. UPDATE, The contacts were received 4/12/2017. I simply couldnt see it if them. Roger checked, chuckled and said you cant see nothing! He proceeded to say, Wow I really screwed you on this one. I added instead of subtracting. Im going to have to reorder these for you. My bad! He was smiling when saying this. I called in 4/20/17 and was informed that they were in shipping and was told they would arrive Monday or Tuesday (today). I just got off the phone with them and they yet again told me that they were in shipping.4/27/17, Had been told the contact would be in today, SURPISE! They were not, I was AGAIN ASSURED, They will be in a Little After Nine on Monday. I verified my account standing with them, they told me that my account is paid in full. I called my eye insurance provider, they have processed and completed the claim. In other words, They have already paid him in full for the contacts I still have yet to have received.This to me is far being bad business.5/2/17 Contacts finally received and I am seeing 20/20!!! The contacts dont fit perfect but he made observations and started he is ordering me a pair that will fit more proper.

I had the wonderful privilege to work for Dr. Lackey for 7 years and I can attest to the fact that she is not just a wonderful optometrist, but a wonderful person. I wouldn’t trust my eye care to anyone else.

I sincerely want to thank Roger Mayo for the custom contacts he has prepared for me over the last many years - since around the year 1999, I believe. Without his seriously creative skill I honestly do not know how I would have survived. NO ONE wanted to help me after my disastrous eye surgery from Aerosmith Eye Institute in Nashville. Without Rogers help I would have either been unable to see or I would have allowed other eye surgeons to talk me into even more catastrophic surgeries. Frankly, I have never been shy about singing Rogers praises. For 17 years I have literally trusted him with my visual life.

My 4 month old needs glasses as I have been trying to get them but this place does not care at all at first they didn’t order them then they order them we go back to get them they aren’t ready we get told to come back the next day we go back and the billing guy is only there saying he doesn’t know where they store them and that we have to come back on Monday he then locked the door and left wouldn’t even call the guy to see where they are kept
