First real eye exam for her at 6 years old. Everything was top notch. She loved it and did not leave scared. Highly recommend. They use the latest technology to take all the uncomfortable tests of old out of the exam. Super impressed.

I had the best experience at Epic Optical. I truly felt that my care was center focus during my exam and throughout my appointment. Everyone was very thorough and my doctor took the time to discuss and explain things to me. The staff was very kind and personable and made me feel welcome and comfortable. The entire experience was great, and I will definitely be using them as my eye care provider, hence forth.

When I went back to pick up my glasses the team there was still very helpful and professional . The team still called me by name. Made sure glasses fit right and gave me magazine to read so they could check and see if Prescription was correct. I will say this again. I get very Anxious when I go to have my eye exam do to the point my blood pressure gets high after a few minutes with the Doctor and His team it was easy to relax and let them take care of me.I live in Ocoee TN and it was worth the drive to downtown Chattanooga I will be going and I am letting anyone I know to go see this team in Chattanooga!!!

I called about some serious discomfort in one of my eyes and they immediately made time to see me. The doctor even came back in after he had left for the day to make sure I was taken care of. From the front desk to the doctors, this place is amazing. I’d give six stars if I had the option

Prior to coming here, save for one time, Id only ever been to Visionworks for my eye appointments. I always figured close enough was just how glasses worked. This was the first time someone seemed to care what my exact prescription was. All these years I didnt even know I had astigmatism. Staff was great as well, they were very friendly and helpful. The place was really clean, and they had a solid selection of frames. Definitely highly recommend you stop by.

I saw Dr. Cox at the downtown location after experiencing some eye pain. I love that they open early so I dont have to take off work! The office is very nice and the staff was extremely friendly. They were extremely efficient and I didnt have to wait at all. Dr. Cox listened to all my concerns and gave me a thorough examination. I wish I had found this place sooner and will definitely be going back!

Ive been a patient at Epic for years and have really liked so many of the newest changes and optometrists in the new location as well as their attention to all of our needs (and helping patients with insurance issues as well). Epic Optical is a cool optical right in downtown Chattanooga in a neighborhood with lots of shops and restaurants. Emily and the other staff was very friendly and welcoming. They have a wide variety of frames from high-end to frames covered by vision plans. After my wife and I visited we walked around the block to a great lunch place in the same building. The optical shop is in a 100-year old building, and I like that they kept a lot of original flooring and walls and added trendy fixtures like sparkling white stone columns, pendant lights, and art.

Dr. Dell is knowledgeable and professional. He take the time to get everything perfect - a rare quality. Staff is lovely! Best selection of glasses in Tennessee.

I made an appointment two weeks in advance and was told that my insurance was accepted. I was told that my insurance was not accepted on the day of my appointment. They had not bothered to check whether or not it was accepted until the last minute. Very disappointed such a simple mistake.

Everything was great! I was seen almost immediately after arriving. The staff was all incredibly nice and helpful. I would highly recommend them to everyone!

Id received a prescription for contacts several months back from another doctors office in town, but in the past couple of months I could tell that they were wrong. Headaches, difficulty reading my computer, phone, even restaurant receipts. Frustrated with this, I walked over to Epic (which is conveniently located downtown) one afternoon to find out how soon I could get a new eye exam. They were able to schedule me an appointment within 2 days. On the morning of my appointment, I was seen quickly and given a thorough eye exam. My old prescription was way off and they got me seeing straight. In addition, they recommended some new cleaning treatments and eye drops for the upcoming allergy season.The staff was professional, friendly and courteous. If youre needing to get your eyes checked out, give Epic a call.

Worst experience Ive ever had with getting new glasses. I usually just go here to get my eye test and then take the prescription to another provider to fill for glasses/contacts. Well I finally decided I would just get my glasses here as I did not feel like shopping around. I got a very expensive pair of Oakley glasses and it took about a week to come in. Right away I tried telling the office something was wrong with my left lens. I told them I could see fine with my right and tried to show the lady at the front, but she scolded me for covering my right eye (not sure why this mattered). She told me to give it two weeks for my eyes to adjust. I called back down within 2 days to advise I cant see out of my left eye still. I came back in and the office adjusted my glasses. They told me to try them out again. Again I get the same results. So I call the office again and this time Im told to come back in. They have me re-test all the tests again and get that I have the same prescription. So the office (not the doctor) came to the conclusion that my frames were bent. The best part of this is the frames I bought were no longer made. So I had to pick out another pair. This normally wouldnt be that big of a deal, but these were literally the only glasses I wanted. I just settled for another pair. I waited another week for these glasses. Again the same exact problem. I by chance was just moving my glasses around to see if I could see any better and my vision actually cleared when I moved my left side down. I went down to the office again. This time they tell me that my Axis was wrong in the left side. I asked how this could have happened? I also figured this meant there was nothing wrong with my original pair. The office blamed the Lab that made my lenses. I just think this office really is not a good place to get glasses and I would stay away. Im never going back again.
