New dentist in town. The office is clean, comfortable, and bright. The location on Brainerd Rd is quite convenient. The staff are friendly, and kind. They listen.The Doctor is efficient but not hurried. Appears to be a good place for up to date dental services. I have been going to this office for over 10 years and am happy that our dearly retired dentist found a GOOD predecessor to take over his practice.

I have seen Dr. Daniel 3 times now, I think, and am super pleased to have him as my new dentist. Perri is a wonderful hygienist. Both are really thorough.This is an office full of really nice people.

No pain, no fuss, a really easy visit. My crown looks great! It’s like visiting friends and I happened to get my tooth fixed:) Brittany is an amazing assistant to Dr Daniel ( the best) but Ann and Catherine at the front desk and Perry who cleaned my teeth were all really welcoming and professional at the same time. Brittany Dale is the absolute BEST dental assistant anyone could ask for. New hires should seriously train under her. She was patient, kind, loving, and very empathetic to my son when he was getting his tooth pulled today. He was beyond nervous this morning, and came home so confident. LOVE this dental office because of her.

I wont do as long of a review as Ive done previously, but I definitely want to praise Peak Family Dentistry again. I went in for my cleaning a few days ago, and I very quickly discovered two things: 1) My previous hygienist, Tammy, who I had been seeing for years, was leaving, and 2) Dr. Daniel wasnt going to be the dentist to see me that day.I ended up working with a new hygienist for the first time, Perry. She was sweet, really fun to talk to, and very fluidly competent at her job. I hope she becomes my new regular hygienist in the upcoming departure of Tammy.As for the dentist I saw, it was actually Dr. Daniels father, Dr. Marty. This was my first time being seen by him, and I enjoyed every second of it. The man is really kind, has an outgoing personality, is easy and fun to talk to, is extremely knowledgeable, and he gave me VERY positive vibes about the condition of my teeth. Ive previously been really bad about flossing, and Ive never gotten into any kind of habit of using a water pick. Dr. Daniel had recommended both the last time I had a filling, so Ive been diligent about working them into my routine the past 6 months. When Dr. Marty saw my teeth, he gushed over how great they looked and praised me for my diligence in following his sons advisement. Hearing these positive words really inspires me to continue to reinforce good oral behaviors. Dr. Martys personality and approach is a perfect fit for his profession.Lastly, this part isnt a review, but I hope Tammy sees this:Tammy,Im sorry we didnt get to speak longer at my last visit, but I was in a huge hurry to get back home to clock in for work. Therefore, I thought it would be appropriate to type sort of an open letter to you here:Thank you for being so great all of these years. Ive known you ever since the Fogo & Fogo days, through Dr. Jims solo practice years, and now through the recent transition to Dr. Daniels practice. You are absolutely one of the sweetest people I know, and Ive always loved interacting with you. You always made a point to ask about important things in my personal life, and you actually retained the things I told you. Therefore, you could follow up on those things at my next visit. I know you had to work extra hard cleaning my teeth because of my lack of flossing, but you never shamed me for my lack of flossing. I never felt judged, I always felt comfortable. Hopefully youll be proud to know that I finally established a flossing routine! I just hate that you didnt get to see it for yourself.Anyway, seeing you and Dr. Jim at each visit was always like seeing family. The new staff at Peak Family Dentistry is out of this world amazing, but that doesnt mean Ill miss you any less. I really hope the future continues to shine bright for you. I had to wait an hour outside because they was having a meeting but once inside I was very pleased with the service and will continue getting my services with Peak Dentistry

I’m sold! I just put this dentist to the test with a difficult crown procedure, and he and his staff proceeded to wow me with their use of the latest 3-D imaging. This was the first time I’ve ever had a perfectly fitting crown—the first try! No filing down, no return for more filing! Yes! Then I asked the doc to check the tissue in my mouth and he did a CT scan in office (a very expensive, low radiation, piece of equipment to have in one’s office), prompting me to see ENT and GI doctors about a dangerously closed off esophagus. He forwarded the images to them so I wouldn’t have to repeat the procedure. Oh, and bonus, he’s working a plan to replace some very old, and badly done cosmetic work on my front teeth, using the latest technology which allows me to see how it will look before the work goes in! All this and the guy is both funny and personable. I can’t recommend Peak Dentistry highly enough. I’ve shopped around a good bit for a dentist who can handle my messed up teeth since moving to Chattanooga ten years ago. I’m so relieved to have landed with this extremely talented dentist and his fine staff.

I was so sorry to hear that Dr Larry had retired and his practice bought out. But I decided to give Peak Family Dentists a try. I am so glad I did. Drs Daniel and Marty are absolutely wonderful. Everyone in the office is so pleasant. I have always had a lot of anxiety about dental appointments but It was such a relief to find such patient, kind and pleasant staff. The whole atmosphere was calming.

We had been with our previous dentist, who is also a dear friend, for 40 years. Needless to say that we were a bit uncomfortable when we learned that the practice was being sold upon his retirement. After discussing options, we decided that we would both stay with the new dentist for one visit each and determine what to do next based on our experiences. Both of us required immediate procedures beyond just cleaning and we are absolutely pleased beyond measure with both of our experiences. I have been four times since Dr. Cathey and his father came to this practice. I have had two fillings, one crown replaced, a filling replaced in a front tooth where the tooth was patched, and a cleaning. My front tooth patch was fixed by the older Dr. Cathey, and he did an amazing job. You have to know that it was fixed to detect that it was. He told me he did not want it to be just good, he wanted it to be perfect. For my front tooth- it was important to me that it look good- he darn near made it perfect. My fillings and crown were done by the young Dr. Cathey. My new crown is amazing- they are using 3-D imaging. It looks really good and fit well. My gums had receded significantly and the old crown left too much space around the gum line. I am really impressed. Also, both doctors are friendly and personable. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

This Dental office is exceptional!As a patient, Ive attended this location ever since it was run by Dr. Jim Fogo. I absolutely loved this man and the amazing work he did for my parents and me over the years. Since Dr. Fogos retirement, Ive seen Dr. Daniel Cathey (the new owner and lead dentist) twice, and I can honestly say that Dr. Fogo couldnt have picked a better man to purchase his practice. Dr. Daniel (as he prefers to be called) is an incredibly skilled Dentist who listens to the desires and preferences of his patients. He also has an infectiously positive and kind-hearted attitude.As for the staff, Im so happy that Dr. Daniel kept virtually everyone from Dr. Fogos old staff. I think maybe one or two people decided to retire, but virtually everyone is the same. This staff is the heart and soul of this place, and I couldnt ask for a better experience than what they provide. Walking into this practice feels very home-like and comfortable....even if I happen to be getting my teeth drilled on a particular visit. Lol.By the way, on the topic of fillings, if you are particularly sensitive to the drilling process when getting fillings, dont hesitate to ask Dr. Daniel for extra rounds of numbing medication. Im particularly sensitive (and wimpy) when it comes to the drilling process. Dr. Fogo was always kind and patient enough to do as many rounds of numbing as I felt I needed. Dr. Daniel is 100% the same way, so definitely dont hesitate to ask him.Overall, this practice has a strong focus on comfort and a home-like environment while also introducing newer, state-of-the-art dental equipment since the change in ownership. I have nothing but positive feelings towards this place.If you are attending any other dental practice, you need to switch to Peak Family Dentistry. Now.
