I am in shock with the bad reviews I am reading about Park Dental Chaska!! I have been to many dentists in my life and this one is by far the best experience Ive had! I will never go anywhere else again! The staff is always welcoming and has a smile on their faceπŸ™‚Ive never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get into my appointment. The dental assistant/dentist always talk me through the whole procedure, which makes me feel comfortable and anxiety free. Ive even have had a few times I couldnt afford to pay my bill and they were very flexible, understanding and even helped me set up a payment plan. Please ignore these bad reviews!!! Park Chaska Dental is amazing!!

Our experience at Park Dental Chaska has been an utter disappointment. On several occasions we were quoted $0 out of pocket, later to be billed up to $1,500 for a crown that they said was covered. This happened with another procedure more recently. The front desk made us to feel like we were trying to get free services when we have always paid our bills and didnt even complain when they misquoted us for a crown, costing us $1,500 out of pocket. The treatment we received from the women at the front desk was awful. They would go behind the barrier to talk about me and then come back and talk to me in a condescending tone about me owing the days treatment fee up front before any work had been done AFTER quoting me $0 out of pocket. The continued pattern of inconsistent estimates and then losing the original $0 estimate, was the last straw. I hope no one is treated as poorly as we were. We have dual insurance, adequate funds to pay our bills, so I cannot imagine how they treat people who have less funds or inadequate/no insurance coverage. This is no way to run a business that should be in the business of improving dental health and giving patients more self confidence in their smiles. Its heartbreaking really.

Chaska Park Dental discriminates against low income households that have medical insurance through the state of MN. Per Park Dental policy. Any person - child or adult can only call to schedule an appointment on the 1st day of each month or 1st business day of the month. They only reserve a certain number of appointments per month for low income households. Making sure that they have more than enough for higher incomes families who can afford insurance through their jobs. Even the Saturday β€œchildren only” appointments. Don’t bother calling on the 3rd! Or if your child has an urgent matter on the 15th- too bad for them! Oh how about if you call on the 1st and the all of the appointments are filled, better luck next time.. This is Structural Race Privilege at its finest. - who are the low income people generally?? Yes thank you.

****Be aware and avoid Park Dental****. They will give a quote as $0 dollars for a service saying orally that the insurance will cover. After the service you will receive a bill for hefty amount saying that the insurance denied. When you call back they will read the fine lines in the quote that its not from insurance and as a patient we need to check with the insurance and dont trust the dental clinic. Just getting back from my call. Holding on to a procedure for my Kid for almost 3 years as the quote mentioned that its not covered. Then I added my second insurance and I was given a quote for $0 and was told (orally) that my second insurance will cover. Trusted what they said, but ended up with a bill. When contacted the office they were telling me about the fine lines in the quote and also the paper you signed when you went to them.

The ladies at the front desk, specifically Dawn and Tina, have been extremely helpful as I recently had some insurance issues. They are very professional and make me feel like part of their family, and not just a patient. I would recommend this location to anyone! My entire family (2 adults and 3 kids) go there and everyone has been fantastic!!!

I have always gone to Park Dental in St Louis Park since I was 20. Now for the past 20 we have gone to Chaska. The customer service is excellent and they are so pleasant and helpful. I just stopped in quick today as a crown came off. Dr Hahn could squeeze me in even without an appointment. Five stars plus for her, previously Dr Owen and Dr Hagen as well. Great dental work!!!

My experience with park dental was fantastic. The ladies at the front desk instantly made me feel at home. Shannon did a phenomenal job with my check up and gave me some helpful tips on how to take better care of my teeth. I would definitely recommend and will be going back every six months. Keep up the good work Park dental!

I highly recommend Dr Fletcher and Tanya at Park Dental Chaska. They are extremely professional and provide superior patient care. We live in the northwest suburbs, but both my husband and I make the drive specifically to see these two. We can’t imagine working with anyone else!

If I could give a β€œ0” I would! I do not have dental insurance so it’s all out of pocket. Went in for a tooth that needed to be β€œpulled” so they said. After that they talked me into their dental plan for over $400. But if I got the regular cleaning later I would come out ahead is what I was told. So I go in for my cleaning and they told me I need a different kind of cleaning that isn’t covered by the insurance I bought through them and it would cost me $1000 to get my teeth cleaned! I never went back and I’m out $400! What a bait and switch situation!!!! I have a wonderful smile and no tarter. They made me feel like ALL my teeth were horrible and about to fall out. I left crying. I do not have current problems with my teeth. They are liars!! Strand dental in Chaska was SO much better! I miss them! This Park Nicollet was the Chaska location near Kohl’s. Rotten people!

I had a normal cleaning and Dr Hagen stuck his pick in between a filling and the tooth breaking/cracking it- no problem before going in, they decided I needed a crown which Dr Hagen attempted the following Monday he then broke off the tooth with his tools and decided they then needed to pull the tooth. Did not give enough pain meds and I had to make them stop. I have never had such a horrible experience at any dentist before and urge anyone to avoid this man and find another dentist!!!

I had 2 dry sockets after teeth being pulled. I called multiple times looking for help and they told me doctor said there was nothing they could do for me. I went to er and paid 450 dollars for a shot to help the pain. after 3 days and calling multiple times they got me in. they packed sockets and pain went away instantly. Also when sitting in the waiting room the people behind the desk sat there and complained about customers. They continue to harass me by calling me and scheduling appointments I never made. They also bumped the drill on one of my teeth and I now have to have that repaired. Be cautious of this place

Dr. Hagen is rude and condescending, so we decided to try Dr. Powers. Dr. Powers was kind and committed. Although, our concerns about Dr. Hagen were dismissed and ignored, we decided to try Dr. Powers. My husband had an emergency tooth situation and contacted the clinic. Dr. Hagen directed my husband not to come in but make an appointed to have his tooth pulled. (Dr. Powers was out of the office). My husband was in pain and nervous and didnt think having his tooth pulled was warranted so he contacted another dentist who immediately had him come in. His tooth was quickly restored W/O issue. My husband left Parka Dental Chaska that day. My children and I stayed as I felt Dr. Powers was a competent dentist, until, I questioned a bill that was not billed correctly - per my insurance company. I contacted the clinic re: the issue with the bill. Approx 6 months later, I was still going back and forth between the clinic and my insurance. This resulted in a meeting with the manager who sat me in her office and stated Dr. Powers said she would like to part ways with me because I am questioning the bill. I advised this is highly unprofessional that a PT does not have the right to question a bill W/O the fear of retaliation from the dentist. The communication I recd via our conversation as well as email was demeaning and a personal attack from the dentist. I would never, ever recommend this clinic to anyone due to the unprofessional business practices.

WAS GOING TO FILL A FAKE CAVITY SO THEY COULD CHARGE MY INSURANCE Recently I took my son to Park Dental Chaska only because of a recent insurance change, and during the exam with the hygienist she stated everything looks great. But then the dentist came in and said he found a cavity on the x-ray. Which was shocking since my son is 13 and never had a cavity. Due to the type of insurance we had Park Dental only wanted to fill it with a silver filling. I did not want that, so we went back to our original dentist and paid out of pocket to get his opinion After having the x-rays emailed over from Park Dental and a thorough exam he found no cavity. He even called over to Park Dental to make sure they were looking at the same tooth which they were. I believe they were going to drill into a perfectly good tooth and fill it with a silver filling all to get money from our insurance. Horrible place to go. I even think there is something illegal going on there. I will be doing some more investigating.

On 2/3/17 my wife woke up with a toothache. At 8am she called to try and get a same day appointment. The only option was at 8:20 and it was a half hour drive for her. The only other option given was an appointment on the following Monday which she agreed to. Around 3pm that day the pain was worsening. She called back to see if there was anything they could do before the weekend. There answer was no, and to go to the ER or urgent care or see about another Park dental that would be open on Saturday. After 5pm my wife did go to urgent care where she felt like it was a waste of a Dr. time. They prescribed a mild pain killer and she had to ask for a antibiotic as she was assuming it was an infection starting. She could not sleep Friday night due to pain. I called Park again early morning Saturday to try and speak to someone about the dental emergency we were having. I was instructed to leave a message by the after hour recording. My wife was in tears from pain. I tried all other Park dentals and none were open on Saturday. We ended up finding another dentist who fit her in on Saturday to perform a emergency root canal an treat for an infection. I did not hear back from Park until Monday morning at 10am responding to my message. I asked how the emergency message process worked and the response from the receptionist was I am not sure My wife ended up needing facial surgery to treat the infection that Monday which I feel was avoidable if we were seen on Friday.

I was a relatively new patient coming in for my second 6 month appointment. I was scheduled for 11:20AM Wednesday June 5th. I was taken in 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. I would never dream of arriving 20 minutes late for my appointment, I only would expect the same courtesy from you.Once in the chair I was told I needed X-rays. I indicated that I would like to skip them. I don’t believe that the are needed as often as you can bill my insurance company for them. (My father was a dentist and my mother is a dental hygienist in another state.) I was told I couldn’t have an examination with out X-rays, so I left.

Most places do a follow up survey for feedback, but since this place doesnt, Ill have to give my advice on here: have the hygienists do cleanings on eachother, so they can give eachother feedback. Most patients wont complain, as I didnt when I had Jesse a year ago. I just made a mental note to make sure to never get her again. Today my daughter had an appointment, and remarked that her cleaning was unusually painful. I asked her if she had Jesse, and she said she thought she did. Jesse is the only one Ive had in the number of years Ive been going there who was this painful.

Went in for my yearly cleaning back in May was told I have a cavity. Cleaning went great finished up and went to front desk to schedule to get my filling taken care of, they told me they could not schedule an appt. for me that day because they were booked out until July so I needed to call back on July 1st to schedule so I said fine and left. Called back today June 27th (before July 1st) and they told me that unfortunately they could not schedule me because they were now booked out until August and that I need to call back August 1st. The lady on the phone offered nothing towards me besides for I dont know why they would of told you that um you just told me that yourself so answer your own sentence. So unbelievable frustrated right now with your company, whats it gonna take me to get an appt. call in saying you can now pull my tooth because you couldnt take care of a cavity?! Yes Im sure it has ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING TO DO WITH MY INSURANCE but Im sorry I dont have a choice you can thank Obama for that

If I have the opportunity to give 0, I surely do. Scheduling Manager is the worst person in Customer Service. I asked for a revised statement because some payments that I made were missing in my statement. They refuse to do it, and regret to provide service until I pay the full amount. Never go to this place again.
