I have been coming here for over a year & I see Dr. Jamie- she is one of the BEST dentists I’ve ever had!! I’ve had to get a lot done in this past year, from a filling to a crown to my first root canal. She took care of all of it & made time for me to come in when it was an emergency!I highly recommend going to Jamie because she is friendly, straight to the point, hard working & always makes me feel better on my way out versus on my way in. The whole cleaning process was smooth and thorough, and Dr. Jamie is the best! She makes you feel so calm, at ease, and right at home. I had told the dentist that I had hard pain and was in tears because the pain was so bad and she gave me nothing to help with the pain. I wouldnt recommend this dentist to anyone. After sharing my concerns about my treatment the dentist called me back I went back to the office to be looked at one more time they rescheduled the same day visit with the oral surgeon they got me a prescription for something to help me get through the evenings and I am scheduled for surgery already due to the pain that I am in and I think this dentist office for taking the time to get things sorted out for me and I appreciate all that they do thank you very much for your help and making appointments and getting meds thank you.

I have been to several dental clinics in the twin cities, and this is by far my favorite. I have been a patient for about two years now. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, and every staff person I have spoken with has been warm, friendly, and helpful. I always feel welcome and comfortable in the office, and also that my concerns are thoroughly listened to without being rushed. I have a rare genetic condition that has various implications for dental care and treatment. Most dentists I’ve been to throughout my life had never heard of my disorder. Not only have the dentists at Relaxation Dental heard of my disorder and are already aware of the complications, but they also have taken additional time outside appointments to research treatment ideas before making a recommendation to me. I greatly appreciate the level of diligence my dentists here have had. I can always trust that when I am given a treatment suggestion, it will be the best one available for me.Five stars. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great dental clinic with outstanding dentists.

We had taken him to a pediatric dentist for a consultation and they wanted to fully sedate him, which we were not comfortable doing. Our son to say the least is a difficult patient, but Dr. Jamie and Hygienist Amanda were wonderful! I would highly recommend Dr. Jamie and her team to anyone! They are great at what they do!

Best Dentist and the best staff, everyone is always friendly and very attentive. They stand by their work and take care of your needs. I left my previous dentist 11 yrs ago and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made for my personal health as well as my families. After my first visit i immediately switched my entire family over. If you live in Chaska or Caver Country this is the best place to have as your dentist office. Relaxation Dentistry is always great, but today they made me feel as though I was visiting family. Due to Covid I didnt have care for my 4 year old and 7 month old; so they came with. The staff was very understanding and their calming presence helped lessen my anxiety and stress. The hygienist and doctor did what they could to speed up the process, but also took the time to answer my questions and explain procedures. They even got the 4 year old to get his teeth cleaned in the next room. My hygienist was amazingly helpful and kind. Thank you Relaxation Dentistry staff!

I am very anxious at the dentist. I told my dentist this and her assistant this and they immediately made me feel more at ease, told me quick story that made me laugh and took my mind off of being at dentist. Very kind and understanding. It was my first time with this dentist but when I told her I was anxious she made me feel it was ok to be nervous but also that everything would be ok and was very kind.

The entire staff at Relaxation Dentistry make my appointments a pleasure, which is not a word usually associated with dental appointments. From the moment I arrive until the moment I leave the staff is committed to making me feel valued and satisfied. My whole family goes there because of the excellent care we receive.

My hygienist was so sweet and fun to talk to. I have severe dental anxiety and she helped me through it and showed so much compassion. The dentist I saw was super great too. Avoided over loading me with information and gave me a clear understanding of what was causing me pain. Only a little disappointed that they wouldn’t attempt my root canal in their office because now I’m anxious to see another dentist.

I have a lot of dental anxiety and the all the staff at Relaxation Dentistry live up to there name!!!! They are GREAT!!!! Thank you so so much for taking such good care of me❤️

Outstanding! The clinic is beautiful, staff is very friendly and the practice is very current with their technology and processes. I literally showed up there at the end of the day with no appointment. I had never been to that office and I expected nothing more than a look around and maybe a consult, if I was lucky. There were other patients being seen and waiting and they still accommodated me. I was filling out paperwork immediately from the most comfortable recliner. Not only did I get a consult but I got a full set of x-rays and three fillings done right then and there. The staff really put me at ease. I had not been to the dentist in 7 years and it was quite anxious as a result. They did not lecture me or make me feel bad which is common in a lot of other clinics. I was able to watch Netflix with headphones on and the dentist was very gentle and explained what she was doing the whole time. We created a treatment plan that includes two more appointments. I’m very pleased with everything, including their costs. Highly recommend!

Wonderful service as always! Took extra time to explain some concerns I had about my wisdom teeth. Also are excellent at explaining the following steps for Invisalign.

My crown broke last night. I was able to get an appointment today. I expected the dentist just to look at my tooth and to make another appointment to get the procedure done. Much to my surprise, the dentist was able to fashion a new crown and attach it to my tooth TODAY! I really appreciate the same day crown replacement.Also watching TV and listening via headphones helps me relax and not think about what’s going on in my mouth.I would highly recommend Relaxation Dentistry to other people. Just be sure that Relaxation Dentistry is on your insurance’s list of providers. I made the mistake of switching from one Deltal Dental policy to another Dental Dental policy and Relaxation Dentistry was not a preferred provider on the new policy. I switched and now have two dental insurance policies (I have 2 full time jobs) one of which Relaxation Dentistry is a preferred provider. Between the two polices I am very fortunate that the insurance policies pay for almost all of my new crown.

The staff are always so friendly at Relaxation Dentistry! I love how you can sit in a massage chair and have a warm neck pad while waiting in the waiting room for the dentist or hygienist to see you. Plus, they dont recommend doing work until the time is necessary.

I have terrible anxiety in general, and unless Im given nitrous oxide, I stay away from the dentist because of this. It had been several years since Ive been to see a dentist, and when my usual dentist told me they wouldnt take my insurance, I was glad to make a call to Relaxation Dentistry, as Ive always wanted to try it out. As soon as I walked in, i felt more at ease. A fireplace, soothing colors on the walls, and instrumental, spa-like music overcame my senses. Every staff member I met welcomed me with a smile. It felt less shameful to request nitrous oxide here than at my old dentist, and I was usually treated like I was a pain in their behind for requesting it. By the looks of the flyer I picked up at the front desk here, they offer many spa-like amenities such as warm blankets, essential oils diffused in the room and pillows to get more comfortable, all for free! Sherry, my dental hygienist was awesome! She listened to my concerns, noted certain things Id listed on my health forms, and made me feel very comfortable and at ease. She did a wonderful job cleaning and polishing my teeth as well, and gave good advice about how I can do better. Dr. Ruoho stepped in for my exam and she was great as well. It truly felt like a laid-back, friendly, and no-judgment approach to dentistry that was sorely needed on my part today, being I hadnt been in for a teeth cleaning in years! I have nothing negative to say at all, and I will definitely recommend them to people and return twice a year now myself!

This is a 5 star dentist office from the front office staff to the hygienists and dentists. Friendly and relaxing would describe the atmosphere here. Amanda is our hygienist and she is so gentle and does a thorough cleaning for me and my kids. Dr. Ruoho is very thorough as well and communicates clearly with patients. The front desk is knowledgeable and communicates the billing process clearly and informs patients of the costs for procedures prior to the procedure being done. We love Relaxation Dentistry and highly recommend it for your whole family.

I am very disappointed. I have been going to Relaxation Dentistry for the past 2 to 3 years and never had a problem. Until recently, last Wednesday I had to make an appointment because the pain was unbearable. I called they said I could come in because the doctor was in for so many hours. So just to get in the door180 something. My insurance covered some, but then Im charged for After hours ?? Thats not the worst part. They do the root canal, and if course its infected. I ask about meds and in told to take Tylenol and ibuprofen. Its worse the next day then before the work! I call and told to wait until Monday it should be fine. Im in so much pain I end up missing work on Friday to see my doctor yes put my self at risk to find out that I should have been put on antibiotics at the very least. My blood pressure ( of which I take meds for) was very high, so my doctor also prescribed pain meds as well. After 48 hours Im feeling better. No thanks to any of you. Im really disappointed and will be looking else where for my dentist.

You do not dread going to the dentist anymore!! Everything about this dentist is amazing... Massage chairs in the waiting room, heated lavender neck wrap, tv with headphones while you have your appointment (which is great for me since I can not stand the sound of a dentist drill), oils in the room while you have your appointment, and most importantly: the best care team out there. You are taken care of the moment you set foot in the office. Once you try it, you will fall in love with Relaxation Dentistry like I have.

I was going to rate Relaxation Dentistry a four but only because I have to drive so far to get there. I absolutely love RD. Dr Ruoho makes each visit a pleasure. Her work is excellent. The staff at RD are super and the atmosphere they provide is superb. I have set RD up as the primary for my kids and they love it. I highly recommend RD. Recently I decided to move away from the dentist office I had been using for a while and needed to go elsewhere. Upon my first visit to Relaxation Dentistry I was immediately impressed by the environment and thoughtful evaluation of my teeth. Unfortunately, or perhaps luckily depending on your point of view, I was diagnosed with a rare condition that required an immediate root canal. This was a shock to me, but validated by an x-ray that revealed serious issues. I had the root canal performed today by Dr. Jenny Ruoho and I felt she did an outstanding job. Prior to the root canal we discussed the procedure at length given my condition and during the procedure she was prudent to get the job done well and not rush. The dental assistant Chris was outstanding and did a great job making me feel comfortable during such a long procedure. I dont if anyone loves going to the dentist, but Relaxation Dentistry cares very much about their patients feeling safe and comfortable which makes the entire experience enjoyable.
