Dr. Roy was the attending physician for my mom during a recent hospital stay and he is amazing. Following moms hospital stay she had to be transferred to a skilled nursing facility and we were so impressed with Dr. Roy, that we chose a nursing facility that he works with, so that he could continue to oversee her care. Dr. Roy is very knowledgeable. He is also kind, compassionate and honest! I could not ask for a better doctor!

I was seen by Dr. Roy while hospitalized at Cedar Park Regional for pancreatisis. I have never had such a terrible experience with a doctor. I felt Dr. Roy was rude, did not uphold his responsibility as the doctor assigned to treat me, and that he was judgmental. Dr. Roy was one of the many to fixate on my pancreatisis being because I am a chronic alcoholic. When he visited me he was short and had obviously not looked into my case. I was honest with the doctors and staff about the amount I drink which is no more then any other 26 year old drinks. Even after being honest with them I felt I was being judged and accused of things that were not true. Dr. Roy spent very little time with me. After informing me of my diagnosis he asked if I had any questions which I did. The doctor from the night before mentioned doing some blood work so I was curious to know what the results were but Dr. Roy didnt even look at my blood work. There was even a computer in my room that all of the other doctors were able to pull my results up on. Lastly I asked when I could drink and eat since I had been NPO from everything including water for over 24 hours and his response was that I need to quit drinking! Dr. Roy said it very rudely without considering the fact that I was severely dehydrated. After that I told the nurses that I did not want to see him again. The next day I got a new doctor that did what Dr. Roy should have done which was to increase my fluids and allow me to drink water. If Dr. Roy had listened to me as the patient, looked at all of medical records, and treated me like they were supposed to I wouldnt have been so miserable while in his care and I probably would have been released sooner.

Dr. Roy is an excellent physician. He listens and takes good care of his patients.
