They won’t see you at all if you had surgery with someone else even if was done decades ago. No second chance to help you!

I wish there was a rating less then one. The dr and nurses are great. I had trouble with the office staff. Before having two procedures done I paid the amount owed. I had the procedures done and everything went fine. I was going to have another procedure done. I was told that I had a balance due. They only charged me for one of the the two procedures. I was never told that I may owe more money after my procedure. The office staff wasnt willing to work with me or my husband to resolve this issue. Now Ive been turned over to collections. I will not be paying this balance they claim I owe.

I have absolutely loved my experience with Cedar Park Bariatrics! They are so welcoming and great at making you feel like youre at home! My insurance is making me wait 6 months for surgery...but I have had 4 appointments now, and every single one has been great! I cant wait to continue my journey!

Dr. Abando performed my VSG on 09/17. The whole staff has been amazing. I have had no complications, and my weight loss is right on track. They are all so supportive. Dr. Abando put my husbands mind at ease before, during and after my surgery. There is no other group I would recommend for anyone thinking about bariatric surgery. All of your questions are answered truthfully, and if they feel you are not a candidate, they will not recommend surgery. They want success for all patients!

I have no words for this review. Dr. Basa saved my life and I am forever grateful. I was on the fence at first but now I realized this was the best decision I ever made. The office and doctors are very friendly and care about their patients. I almost went somewhere else before coming here and you were just a number there not to mention the doctor does not even live or work in the area (he was from Dallas). They have a fool proof plan that is easy to follow and offer their own products (protein powders, vitamins, etc) which makes it easier to obtain and keep track. All health issues have went away and I am my healthiest in years. I am now 80 pounds down and still going. I highly, highly recommend Dr Basa or Dr. Abando. Thank you both!!!

Making the decision to get serious assistance with weight challenges is a difficult decision by itself. I personally did my research with several clinics and felt that CP Surgeons would be the best fit for me. It felt like a further blessing when after I made my first appointment, two random people mentioned in other conversations that Dr. Basa had performed non weight related surgeries for them and they were well pleased.The entire staff have been phenomenal in my journey. The nurses and front office folks are super nice and accommodating with appointments and other questions. The doctors have the unique gift of being highly regarded (and credentialed) in their field while making their patients feel like family. The nutritionist is amazing too!

Doctors Basa and Abondo are fantastic! They take the time to get to know you and to make sure that you know what will happen and how to take care of yourself before and after surgery. They have a wonderful staff, and are available to answer questions and concerns. I went to a different surgeon first and was scared away by how fast things were moving and how much I had to absorb. With Doctors Basa and Abondo, I never felt rushed and had the opportunity to understand the process. I wish I had not waited so long! Im a year out from surgery, and very happy with my choice.
