Amazing office. I have brought in my wife and some friends and everyone loves this office. They do what you need and are really good at it. I always feel comfortable getting my teeth cleaned from them. They don’t ever try to oversell me which is really nice. Thank you for keeping my smile amazing!

Dr. Blackwell is friendly, knowledgeable and not over selling dental procedures. His staff is all nice and helpful. The dental assistant who works with my special needs daughter is amazing.

Great experience with Dr. Blackwell and his staff. Very patient and nice. Ive had teeth cleanings and crown work and the process was smooth. I like the conservative approach and attention to detail without trying to sell you services you dont need. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent Experience. Affordable Prices!We were looking for a great dentist and we finally found one. He and his staff made my 6 year old daughter comfortable for a cleaning. I used them for cleaning and we found a couple of issues that needed to be addressed. Dr Blackwell suggested a conservative treatment plan. This made the experience great, we were not tried to be up sold other services. I would highly recommend Dr Blackwell and his staff with or without insurance.

Very pleasant experience when I desperately needed it. The whole staff treated me like gold and they did a perfect job cleaning my teeth. Folks, if you want your teeth cleaned properly AND want to be treated with decency from start to finish, you need to go to Dr. Blackwell. Period.

My whole family has been coming to Dr. Blackwell for several years now and weve always received great service. The front desk gets me squared away and the hygienists take good care of us. Dr. Blackwell will tell you the truth and get it done right for a good price. Its a relief to have a dependable service.

Do you like someone that puts their hands in your mouth without gloves and doesn’t wash them before or in between patients? Do you like things that are unsanitary and not clean being used in your mouth? Then you should see Dr. Blackwell! He wears shorts and flip flops to work as well - how professional! Also, he doesn’t even wear a mask or have his patients wear eye protection . He clearly doesn’t care about protecting himself or patients from diseases that can be spread very rapidly and easily in this environment. I don’t understand how this office is still in business with with how unsanitary it is. This office should be reported to OSHA and CDC for how many different aspects they are violating. How do I know this? I temped there for one day as a hygienist and refuse to go back -worst office I’ve been to! DON’T GO HERE, unless you want free viruses of course!!

Weve been seeing Dr. Blackwell since 1995, when we first moved to the area. The staff is friendly, and have been helpful every time weve had issues with our insurance. Dr. Blackwell and his hygienists are thorough and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him!

I (and my family) have been seeing Dr Blackwell for over 20 years, I can not sing enough praises for Dr Blackwell and his staff. They do not over sell you like many of the chains do, Dr Blackwell is always upfront about what I need and more importantly, what I dont. It is true that at times it can take a little bit of time to get in, but to know that you are treated well and not oversold, its worth the wait for me.

I called for an appointment this morning and there was no availability. No problem. The receptionist then proceeded to tell me that Dr. Blackwell wouldnt see me anyway and would need to send me to an oral surgeon since Im having pain after an extraction. Um, what? Glad I actually didnt get in. Poor service from the jump.

Did not make it past the receptionist - Not sure how Dr. Blackwell is at his job but the receptionish was certainly a horrible indicator. My family just moved here and I saw Dr. Blackwell listed for Delta Dental PPO and tried to make appointments for my family. The receptionist insisted we do x-rays first before they would do any cleanings. We had x-rays recently and my dental plan will only pay for fully x-rays once every 5 years. When I mentioned we could have the x-rays sent over, she started asking me whether we had regular dental care, then acted like it was so much trouble to schedule appointments and it would be a long way out.... I said nevermind and she did not seem to care about my response - seemed happy not to mess with appointments. I will certainly find a better provider in Cedar Park after that type of initial treatment.

We have now been to this office a 3rd times (2 times just for a cleanings) and it gets worse every time we go. One overly friendly hygenists cleaned my husbands teeth which over hearing her in the next chair really was getting past the professional point. While I got one hygenist that now for the 2nd time (when I specificially said dont give me her again this 2nd time -they did anyway! ) only talks about how the dentist is out goofing off on vacation while she has to slave away and how the front desk told her that oh you dont have to be here till 9:30 the next day and very sarcastically says oh let me get out a tissue and cry over that one (which she repeated about us not getting x-rays as well) When they reminded us about our cleanings this last trip today 7/5/12 -a day or two in advance that it was scheduled for this Thursday they didnt remind us that if we try to cancel with in 24 hours we will be charged a fee. So when I tried to cancel it (remembering how bad the last one was) due to the unprofessional service the previous visit, they seemed almost threatening that I couldnt cancel it without being charged so we went anyway. The hygenists I had was completely unprofessional (just as bad if not worse than the last time she cleaned my teeth), she made me hold my bottom lip open, hold the suction tool and seemed to barely want to clean my teeth at all. Then in conversation tells me oh its a good thing you didnt want x-rays today because that shaves a few minutes off your cleaning so I can go check the score of the baseball game (I think) Then the receptionist who seemed nice the past times we were in, comes back during my cleaning to tell her the score and they discuss it right over me as if it was important (??) at least they could have waited till our cleanings were done. I didnt say anything during this last chance to try to see if it was me, or just a bad day clearly it wasnt. When we paid to leave even the receptionist was laughing that oh the other girl is gone for the day so Ill ring you up. Then tells us I was worried about not being dressed for this side, then says the other receptionist told her Oh it doesnt matter he (The Dentist) isnt here you can wear jeans tomorrow, I am.I have never been to a more poorly ran, more disrespectful dentist office in my life with the worst hygenist I have ever come across.I am a fully licensed massage therapist who strives at superb customer service and would be (and should be) fired instantly if this is how I treated my clients.this is appauling and they all should be repremanded or fired immediately!Sincerely Distraught Never again customer !
