Dr Balan was incredibly helpful and went out of her way to help get me some dentures b4 my trip to New York. She only had maybe 10 days and pulled off a miracle!!Sent me on my way looking like a million bucks!!! Great place and staff. Lori was very sweet and professional in explaining things to me during xrays. Dr Balan was caring and very professional during my exam. Brittany the hygienist is intelligent and professional at what she does. She explained things through the process. Great office !

Not too long ago I had a negative experience, but I was very pleased and grateful that Dr. Balan took the time to call, fix it and be sincere and caring about my experience. My husband and I have been going to Discovery Dental since 2015, as long as my dental care continues to be good and the office remains safe, especially during COVID, we will continue to go.

My family and I have been coming to Discovery Dental for years. Theyve been reliable, honest, and effective. My employer recently changed our insurance coverage, which Discovery doesnt accept (hence 4 instead of 5 stars), but Im not switching dentists because Ive had some sub-par experiences with other dental offices. This was a first time appointment for my teenage son. As the parent, I was thoroughly impressed with the entire staff. All were pleasant and very caring towards my son. The doctor explained in detail to my son why (Pop, aka soda) is horrible for our teeth. My sons reaction was typical of a young adult. Hopefully, he will adhere to her guidelines and keep his perfect teeth!!!

Dr. Balan and all of her staff are just wonderful! After recently moving to the area I needed to find a new dentist and I am glad I found Discovery Park. You are welcomed with smiles and you leave with a smile because it is that enjoyable of an experience. No one really enjoys going to the dentist and with having hypersensitive teeth it is very painful for me to have an exam, or cleaning done. But, Dr. Balan put all of my fears at ease and also used numbing gel so I would be comfortable during my exam and cleaning. So, if you were like me and dread the dentist or looking for one, you can’t go wrong with them!

I had EXTREME tooth pain and had been waiting since before the new year to go see a dentist. I was lucky enough to stumble upon Discovery Dental!They got me in and immediately went over options of what our next steps would be to get me out of pain. I had to go the weekend for my antibiotics to take effect before she could do the procedure and luckily they were able to get me in a day early.The staff was extremely friendly comforting me during my time of panic over whats going to happen next. We went over the different price options for either a root canal or having it pulled and adding a bridge at a later point.I went with the pulling due to it being cheaper at the current moment.The procedure was PAINLESS. Im a big baby when it comes to mouth pain and everyone did a great job of relaxing me and informing me of every step. When the Dr. told me to bite down after just a few moment I had no idea I was already done! I was sitting there wondering when the pain was going to start.I hate having to have a tooth pulled but if I have to go that route again, or if anyone else needs to, I HIGHLY recommend giving them a visit.Ive gone from new customer to life long client now!Going back in Feb for a few fillings and im not the least bit nervous anymore.Also the Dr. gave me some tropical numbing stuff that instantly reminded me of being a kid having my teeth cleaned. Im sure she thought nothing of it but it was a nice trip down memory lane to relax me.

Ive always had a positive experience with Dr. Balan. Shes never made me feel pressured about my treatment plan however complicated it could be. The office atmosphere is serene and it helps calm your nerves especially while being operated on. I would definitely recommend Dr. Balan and her staff to friends, family and co-workers.

I feel as if everyone has said it already - theyre amazing. I came here mostly because they were conveniently located to where I work, but now Ill keep going because of how great Dr. Balan and her staff treated me today. In regards to suggesting treatments you dont need I didnt experience any of that. I had a very thorough exam and cleaning, in which some issues were found that all my previous dentists have missed. I was then given a treatment plan along with a quote and told that I could make an appointment any time I like, and there was no rush. Great experience all around!

Lost crown several months ago while traveling to visit my grandchildren and called the staff at Discovery Dental. Let me tell you, they did everything possible to help me. The entire staff treated me like I was the only patient that day. They answered all my questions regarding my treatment and explained my dental insurance coverage . I felt so comfortable with the staff that I opted to complete my treatment with them instead of returning to my regular Dentist. In fact, I became a regular patient. If you need any dental care from filling to cleaning (hygienist is the best I have been to). I highly recommend Discovery Dental in Cedar Park, Texas.

This review is for people like me who sometimes dont make the right adult decisions in life such as waiting 10+ years to go to the dentist even though you have good insurance. After many years of my wife being in my ear about going here, I finally scheduled a visit.The staff is very friendly and I did way more shaming of myself than they did about my poor dental care choices. Dr. Balan did a thorough cleaning followed by showing me the x-rays and pictures of my teeth. She pointed out the areas she was concerned about, and was able to schedule me the following morning to start the repair work. When I arrived the next morning, she had a complete treatment plan ready, explained how wed break it up into multiple visits, and we began.In total, I had to go in four times, including the initial assessment and cleaning. Despite her very busy schedule, she fit me in and all the work was completed within ten days. I will say in no uncertain terms that she is an amazing professional at what she does. I am kicking myself for waiting so long.If this situation sounds familiar, do yourself a favor and schedule a visit to see Dr. Balan - you will not regret it.

Ive gone to many dentists who were only concerned w/getting me in the chair, doing as little as possible & getting the insurance $$. This is NOT the case w/Dr. Balan and her friendly and caring staff.I broke off a large section of a front tooth, and Dr. Balan worked me into her busy schedule. I didnt have a dentist in the area, so I relied on the reviews to guide me. Her staff got me in the next day.Dr. Balan took over an hour to assess the damage, give me a comprehensive treatment plan & check my insurance for coverage, before she started to address the broken tooth. After making repairs to the broken tooth, she took care of two others that were fragile & chipping.She made recommendations for the fragile front teeth so as I continue to age, the breakage will not continue.I have never met such a dentist who was a complete professional explaining every detail to me, performing gentle and effective care, and insuring I was comfortable during the 1 hour procedure.If you want a dentist that cares about your teeth and your health and doesnt worry about TVs in every room and fluffy pillows, etc., then Dr. Balan is the dentist for you. She and her staff are kind and do their jobs in an excellent fashion.

I rarely write reviews, but I saw a negative one I felt needed to be rebutted. Yes, the initial visit was lengthy and thorough. I liked my prior dentist but had to change when I got new insurance. Dr. Balan and her staff identified many conditions my prior dentist had overlooked. The catch-up of reworking my mouth cost several thousand dollars. But it was worthy every penny. Im still in an intensive cleaning mode ... but I hate to contemplate where I would be if I hadnt found Dr. Balan when I did. Most reviews mention her compassion ... and theyre right; but on top of that, shes just a good dentist. She also chooses her staff carefully and theyre all good, too. Thats important, because youll spend more time with the rest of the staff than with the dentist.

I always have a great experience at Discovery Park Dental! Dr. Balan runs a pretty tight ship. The front desk staff always smiles and gets me checked in quickly and efficiently. Theres usually little to no wait time, which would be frustrating. Scheduling and payment are always a breeze. Theres never any doubt regarding the logistics of my visits.The dental hygienists are very meticulous and I always leave with a super white smile. Dr. Balan always pops in at the end of the cleaning to double check the work of the hygienist and to give me advice on how to keep my teeth healthy.I was scheduled for X-Rays on my most recent visit. For the first time in my life, my hygienist actually affixed the apron properly. Every other time that Ive gotten my X-Rays, the apron had just been placed on my chest. Gayathri was very thorough. She gently wrapped the top of the apron around my neck and fastened it with velcro on the backside. There was no doubt that my organs were protected.My only complaint was that the X-Ray equipment was worn out. As careful as Gayathri was, the arm of the machine would sometimes slide out of place. It was definitely frustrating for both of us. She assured me that Dr. Balan would correct the problem ASAP. Ultimately, the deed got done, and my X-Rays came back clear. I didnt have any rotten teeth, and hopefully Ill be able to chew solid food when Im 80+ years old. Of course, thatll be on me to floss everyday.For good dental work, visit Dr. Balan at Discovery Park Dental in Cedar Park. You wont be dissapointed.

Discovery Park Dental has been my dentist since I moved to Cedar Park 3 years ago. Dr. Balan and her staff are compassionate, kind and the atmosphere at Discovery Park Dental is so friendly and warm, making for a no-stress experience regardless what your dental needs might be. Some people are blessed with perfect teeth and are looking for a dentist to tell them how beautiful their teeth are. I am not one of those people. Going to the dentist is something I typically dread. I have long standing insecurities about my teeth and my dental issues only get worse as I age. Dr. Balan never makes me feel like less of a person, nor does she make me feel insecure about my less than stellar mouth. She never sells me on unnecessary work, and in fact she might give me reasons why I could consider replacing the failing crowns, but she is very clear that we are safe watching and waiting. There have been dentists in my life that made me feel like a target for all they think I need and if I dont do what they suggest I feel even worse about my teeth than when I went in. Not so with Dr. Balan, in fact it is the exact opposite. I feel so safe around these people, being attended to by people who care about me and my well being, like family. They care about you, not the bottom line and any recommendation Dr. Balan gives me, I take to heart. Any negative comment someone makes about these people is not true...they treat you like family!!!
