In a hunt for affordable quality in dental care i came across Whitestone Family Dentistry on Google search for affordable dentist in Austin.What i like:My call was answered right away and after the detailed explanation of my financing options i decided to start with a basic evaluation of my problem. I was offered an appointment within 2 hours to fit in my schedule. I received the link to an online intake form which was easy to fill on my phone.The entire visit took about 30 min. I was offered a few financing options, which seems to address the strain from different angles.What i didnt like:Although very detailed and longer lasting solution was offered, it wasn’t what i was hoping to get done. Which leads me to seek a second opinion. Sure thing, i am not a dentist, but i had enough dental problems to know that often there are more practical solutions which can be sacrificed for a better profit over the patient packet.Still, overall, the price was in a mid range for the offered solution with helpful financial arrangements.

I moved to Austin 4 days ago. I knew I needed a root canal, but I couldnt find a dentist that could see me. I made the earliest appointments I could on Whitestone Family Dentistrys page for a week later. Amber read my request and called. They fit me in today! I literally walked in to the office (after calling to notify them I was outside) and straight into my appointment. I was super impressed! Cant recommended them enough!

I absolutely adore this office and the staff. Amber is amazing, very helpful, thorough, and kind.My kids love Cynthia and Dr.Hsu. They are very gentle, kind and very good at explaining things to myself and my kids. My kids were extremely comfortable with everyone.I just had my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr Mun. Everything was great, and recovery so far has been going smoothly.10/10 highly recommend.

I am so ecstatic about the service that we received today. My mom, who is having a lot of pain from a tooth that broke off yesterday while I was at work, they were able to see us and we are going to be able to go back tomorrow to have not just that tooth taken care of, but two others that are also causing her a great deal of pain! FRIENDLY, CARING, and KIND!!!! This team is an answer to prayer!!!

I had a comprehensive exam last week. Came in today to get two root canals and two crowns. Needless to say it was a long appointment. On my way in I had to take my cat to the vet whom was in a bad place . I will say this is the most caring and professional experience I have ever had at a dentist . I was super comfortable. They know what they are doing . They would stop and make sure I was comfortable if needed . I walked a way with a great smile. During the experience, the vet called and my cat died. They were very loving and caring. And it helped me get through knowing they cared. Dr.Hsu is extremely knowledgeable and extremely caring . I felt so comfortable having him work on my teeth . Cynthia is just a doll. She is his dental assistant. I must say, she is great ! Amber, the administrator will help you with any questions and is on top of her game. This is my dentist family. It feels great to finally have one .

This by far was the best dentist I have ever been to. Not only did they make me feel at home right away, they made sure that I understood every step of the process while I was there. I’ve never had a dentist that was concerned with educating me about my teeth. I definitely recommend going here.

Hsu and his staff are a group of wonderful people. They can make you feel at ease with all they do. I heard a child in the room next to me who was not at all to sure what to think. But, they had her laughing and talking in no time. They inform you what they have found what it is they have to do to take care of it and hold on to your seats they do it there!!! That’s a big win in my book. I really do like this dentist and his staff. Thank you all so much. I’ll see you all on my next appointment. 😇As for my past experiences with other dentists;I’ve had other dentists and staff make it feel like having an appointment was bothersome and then not providing the right treatment such as taking care of cavities. I was told well they aren’t that bad we will look at them again in a few months. Geez! Or you need an extraction but we don’t do it here so you need to go to this other office. I don’t have time to drive into Georgetown, Roundrock or even into Austin to get another procedures done.

I booked an appointment based off an advertisement and I’m so glad it arrived at the right time. I got an appointment ASAP. The entire staff is so kind and ready to help. I have nothing negative to say about my experience. No critiques to give. I cannot adequately express my gratitude and appreciation for such a wonderful dental experience! I do not like going to the dentist. I feel like I’ve let every dentist down by not taking care of my teeth but there was nothing uncomfortable about my visits here. After reading great review about Dr Hsu in the Nextdoor neighborhood chat group, I decided to give it a try as our family need to find a local dentist. From the emails I first exchanged with Amber asking about appointments and range of cost, her friendliness comes right through the screen! Typically my young elementary kids are scared of going to the dentists, but the minute he saw me getting my x-ray done first, he was put at ease. Every staff we met from the door to sitting on the chair with Dr Hsu were sooooo friendly & kind. They welcomed us with gigantic smiles (yes, we can see the smile even throughthe masks!) and treated us with gentleness & care! Everything was explained to me in detail before any action taken. They didnt try to sell me on more treatments than I planned to get. Ill be back bringing the rest of the family there one by one in the coming months!

Whitestone Family Dentistry was a great new place to go. I felt very welcomed and cared for by the staff and Dr. Hsu. I was a new patient and they gave me the best welcome pack Ive ever gotten from a dentist. That made me feel special and like they really appreciated my business. I called in for an emergency situation. They got me in and out in an hour.They went over what my options were and made sure I understood the cost before we got started. No one likes those surprise bills in the mail.Through out my visit both the Dentist and his helper made sure to ask how I was doing. What surprised me was the following day I received a call to ask how I was feeling and how I was handling the meds they prescribed.I have had way more experiences with dentists than I would like to admit. By far the the best I have come across. Military dentist and private practices.

I bought all three of my kids in to this practice as first time patients. To top it off I asked their grandmother to take them. No small task! My family was greeted with warm smiles and the kids absolutely loved everyone in this practice. We are so grateful to have found this practice and will be patients for life!

After our dentist retired, finding a new dentist seemed like a daunting task. We searched many, read lots of reviews and settled on Whitestone. Dr. Hsu and his staff have been wonderful. They performed services, as part of their standard. that neither my wife nor I had ever received at our other dentists. They were friendly, the office is clean, and they all made us feel comfortable and explained everything as we progressed. The Whitestone team is our now our dental health team.
