The staff was extremely friendly and professional. They were thorough in their evaluation and detailed in their understanding of what I needed as a pilot flying small aircraft, even down to the effects of the aircraft windshield (in relation to the type of glasses I wanted) and the difference if you are in a plane with a glass cockpit or in a larger or newer aircraft. I highly recommend Black Diamond Eye Care to everyone.

Staff was very helpful. They informed me of my insurance options and worked with the insurance company to best address my needs.The Technician and Doctor explained each test and shared the results with me. They were also upfront about any concerns they had with the test results. I felt that I was respected and treated professionally.

I have been coming here since 2014 or even earlier, don’t think I have had any problem here, with exception of minor hiccup not worth mentioning. The staff have always been helpful and kind to me, and that’s huge. The products and services have always been top notch. They always know what they are doing. Just super helpful. Sometimes they are busy and you may wait a short time past your time to see a Doctor but be patient, they are doing best they can and I assure you it’s worth the wait. Doctors here (I saw three different ones) are great, and I like them all. So you are in good hands! Rest easy!👌🏽

My son hurt his eye and they worked really hard to get us into the office that day and save us a trip to urgent care or the ER. Dr Putnam was so sweet and did a great job of keeping my son calm. We will definitely be going back for our regular eye exams.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Ortman and his staff. My daughter had a foreign particle in her eye...they got her in right away. Afterwards, to no fault of their own, she was in so much pain, they got her back in right away and helped her feel more comfortable. They all went way above and beyond what I was expecting.

One of the best doctor visits and experiences in recent memory. An extraordinary team of high end professionals from start to finish, front of house to back. Debbie is outstanding at her work and so kindly and thoroughly explains everything you need to know, including your insurance coverages and what you should expect to pay for the services youll be receiving. A+Jennifer is incredibly friendly and caring, she thoroughly asks questions to discern necessary information regarding your eyecare history and runs preliminary tests and prepares you before you see the doctor. A+.Dr. Brenner is one of the friendliest and most sincere Doctors youll find. Her level of knowledge and delicate manner in dealing with patients is remarkable. She covers every single detail and explains in easy to understand terms whats going on with your eyes and vision. But most importantly she cares and its completely genuine. I am currently due for my annual exam and unfortunately, I will not be going back to this facility. I only switched from my previous provider because Black Diamond had recently opened and was much closer to home. Nicola, the woman who helped me order my contacts, was wonderful. She is the only reason I give three stars. The young doctor was kind of rude and forceful in putting me in a brand of contacts that I did not want (and ended up not liking for this entire year). The contacts did not last the full month, either tearing or irritating my eyes at about the third week. The doctor refused to write a prescription for the brand I had been so comfortably wearing for a couple of years, claiming they would be discontinued soon. I just looked up those specific contacts today, and I can still order them if I wanted to, not discontinued at all.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating for my whole family. When my son and I arrived for our appointment we were greeted by the friendly staff. The staff and doctor were very patient during our entire appointment.

Everyone was so attentive, and patient with me when it took me ages to put in my contacts and when I tried on every frame in there. They are also making a great effort to keep everything sanitized which made me feel safe considering everything going on right now.

Even more exciting and Big Kudos go to Dr. Courtney Putnam who gave one of the most thorough eye exams. I am an avid runner and was falling during some of my runs. I truly thought there was something wrong outside of my eyesight. Dr. Courtney found that the prescription I had been given by another eye doctor was incorrect. WOW, what a difference when you have a correct prescription. Life looks so much better now and I dont fall when I go on my runs. Thank you again, Dr. Putnam.
