I really dont know whats going on with this place. They were pretty good for a minute then after that like a dead fish floating in a tank. Havent been able to get in contact with my brother. Voicemails are full or the phone just keeps ringing..And really now you want to send me a 1-800 number. Like how is that going to resolve the issue right now? A lady finally contacted me and then I literally after that I wasnt able to contact her again. Its really discouraging when you have a third party try to resolve an issue.

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES THERE! NO ONE RETURNS YOUR CALLS, I CANT GET AN APPOINTMENT TO SEE MY MOM! THE STAFF WAS VERY PUSHY ABOUT PAPERWORK AND COULDNT ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS I HAD ABOUT WHAT I WAS SIGNING. IT IS AN OLD RUN DOWN HOLE! BE AWARE 🤬

I have been calling everyday to talk to my friend but they do not put the call through. Most of the time the voice mail comes on asking to call back later. Or they deliberately hang up the phone. If I am lucky to get past the receptionist it gets hung up at the nurses station. My friend is very sick and cannot come to the phone. They have only one cordless phone that gets passed around from patient to patient. If I leave a call back number they never call back. It is very frustrating to deal with them. I have no idea how the patient is doing. Consider yourself lucky if you reach the patient once in a blue moon.

My mom arrived with a bone infection which is causing severe pain. The hospital could not discharge her until her pain was control. Today the doctor felt my mom could go to a facility with the pain medications they have her on. This is the facility that took her. The nurses I have talked to made sure the pain prescriptions were at the pharmacy before my mom was transferred. However, my mom has been at the facility for 5 hours, in severe pain, and the pharmacy is telling the nurses that they cannot get authorization from the facilitys provider on-call. This is NOT acceptable to allow a patient to sit in your facility in misery. I get that this is Thanksgiving for the providers but it is also Thanksgiving for my mother and she has been in severe pain just because a provider wont answer a phone call. Get a new system or a new provider. She arrived at the facility around 4pm and it is now 9:20pm. This is too long.Update:The nursing staff have done everything they could to get my mom’s pain management back on track. They have listened to and responded with compassion and action. Covid restrictions have made this transition in my mom’s care difficult so I appreciate their communication and professionalism

I like it here a lot. The employees are very happy here. They bring me water often and will bring me a snack if I ask for one. They brought me paper and markers so I can draw and color. That was nice because I used to donate my art in my 20s. I also loved the therapy dog that came in.

My experience almost felt like I was at home because of how the staff is so respectful and friendly. Ive been calling this place home. I enjoyed activities such as the coffee and conversations. The cooking class was fun. I would like to volunteer here for activities in the future.

Mission Carmichael provides outstanding service. The employees are very thoughtful and caring. The facility is always well taken care of and clean. It is a blessing to have a place like this. Thank you to all the wonderful people who keep this place up and running so smoothly.

I have been here for 8 months now. I like the care here because they listen to what I say. The employees serve my food on time everyday. The activities keep my mind active. I enjoy the bingo and coloring. I like the atmosphere around here because the nurses are bubbly.

I was admitted to Mission Carmichael from the hospital after hip surgery. The staff was very nice and caring. The physical and occupational therapists were very professional and thoughtful. The food was good considering it is hospital food.

I love to sing with the radio that they provide. I like Michael who comes in to play music for us. I wish he could come in more. The violinist was amazing. Toni was very helpful. I would like more Catholic and Christian preachers on Sundays.

The CNA’s are very professional, respectful, and very helpful. They check on you before you go to bed to see if your needs are met. It was fun being here because of the art classes and the music performances. The staff is very nice. Thanks for having me.

I have been here for almost 7 years now. The staff has always been great and Ive never had any problems with them. I would like more activities to be provided such as mini bowling, wii, or mini pool instead of coloring and basketball. Bingo is the most popular activity here and I would like more activities where a lot of people are involved. The kitchen doesnt have the door open for residents to get snacks so if they fix this, that would be great.

Mission Carmichael is passionate about the care they provide to their patients and customer satisfaction to patients, their families and friends. They do a wonderful job in making patients feel at home and staff members regularly check the comfort and safety of their residents. It’s a first hand experience when I accompanied my friend to visit her dad. I wouldn’t hesitate to place my own mother at Mission Carmichael when the time comes.

I sent my mother here and the service was great! The staff was very friendly. After a month of her staying here, she was able to go straight to a care home because of all of the great services.

I have felt welcome since I got here because of the friendly and caring employees. The staff check on me regularly. I’m enjoying my stay here.

The CNA’s all do excellent jobs. They are very nice and professional. They are a special group of people. I get along with them all and they are very easy to talk to. My CNA Soon goes out of her way to bring me ice, snacks, and cookies without me asking. Exceptional service.

I feel all staff employees are very very helpful & kind toward my husband and myself all needs were always taken care of immediately excellent Jonas well. Patients also there was very pleasant. Staff in the kitchen was also very excellent they work with me helping plan Malik meals. Administration excellent job on top of things right away. I do have one suggestion that they start taking patient who are able to go out for outings like Walmart, Casinos etc.

My uncle died from covid, he was bedridden recovering from a stroke. Not as sterile nor sanitized as it should be.

They took care of me when I had a stroke and kidney failure. My CNAs took very good care of me by nursing me back to good health. They have a top notch nursing staff, however the food is something to be desired. They have great activities to keep us busy and our minds active. I spend most of my free time playing BINGO and winning. They also have excellent WiFi.

I wrote a review and dont know if it got swiped or posted. It wasnt finished. I will start over. Everything else is fine, but there are some fundamental complaints about noise level and cursing. Loud cursing tenants should be reprimanded on their vulgar speech. How can this be handled to where it is stamped out? There are two tenants in this hallway.. one who verbally makes sounds as though hes in constant pain.. and another who calls out loudly in the hallway from his wheelchair, at times using vulgarities. What can be done to stop loud tenant cursing?

Please do not leave your loved ones there. The staff brushes you off when you express any concerns. My aunts TV hasnt been working for months now. I have been repeatedly calling the staff to see if it has been replaced and all they say is we have reported it. My aunt is paralyzed the only thing she can do is lay in bed and watch TV. When i went to see her she was crying because the staff hasnt replaced it yet. I have been getting the run around. I thought their main priority was to focus on the well being of their patients but it seems like i am being proven otherwise. We have had previous incident to where she wasnt getting her teeth brushed...REALLY??

My sister was admitted on Friday & Tuesday she had infected bedsores! She didnt have any bedsores on Friday! Worse nursing staff I have ever seen or interacted with. And Im a retired nurse! The people at this facility have NO COMPASSION, NO CONCERN. They spent the 3 hours I was there visiting with my sister...talking and laughing with each other behind a locked break room door. And when I asked for my sisters nurse, I was told she was on her lunch break, for 3 hours??? DO NOT SEND SOMEONE YOU LOVE HERE, they will not get better.

My mom has been here at Mission Carmichael for the last 29 days and by reading other peoples reviews, I was skeptical! But from thr 2nd day to the 29th day this place has been a blessing. The staff has been very professional, caring, and sensitive to my moms needs. The nurses, CNAs, and janitor have impressed me with their quick response to any of my moms needs when I asked for them. The management and administration have been a god sent. Kimberly, Joe, and Kayla, and Mary especially and everyone else have been so helpful. Physical therapist Bryan has been very caring with my moms situation and took the time to talk to me especially with her condition and spending time talking to me about how Im going to care for her when shes released. I have been through this with my father at another place which was several years ago and the place was more clinical and matter of factly I didnt feel the caring and warmth that i did with Misson. I highly recommend this place.

It is easy to find. The care is adequate for the people who stay there. It offers registered nurses.

This place is an ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING DONT Send your loved ones here.1. They gave my dad medication he was allergic to then started laughing at me on the phone when i ask them to go into his room and remove them.2. When my dad arrived he was put into a room that hadnt be cleaned AT ALL after the last person. The night stand was cover in something sticky the floors were not clean (pictures above) There was a shaver left in the bathroom and soiled clothes in the closet.3. They did make sure my father was taking his medication (he has Dementia) i ended up finding over 135 pills in his night stand. Then the could tell when he had taken them last because they were entering it the computer as taken. AFTER A FORMAL MEETING WITH THE MANAGER SSI WORKER AND STAFF and them promising us they would properly watch my dad take his meds...I came back to still find 2day later to find more pills in his room4. I had to go out of town for a week i visited my dad and when i came back on the 8th day my dad WAS IN THE SAME clothing they were soiled with dryed POOP and he had smelled so bad that when i hugged him the smell transferred to my clothing. They didnt bath or change his clothes for A WEEKI COULDNT GO ON AND ON ABOUT MY DAD STAY HERE IM IN ABSOLUTE SHOCK THAT THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS TO PEOPLE HERE ITS TRULY HEARTBREAKING!!!!!!!

Thank you for all your help and support in spite of my ankle injury you were right there to help and do the things that I couldnt do for myself and I appreciate it and I would give this place at a trading out of 10 thank you so much and God bless you all

This place plans to send my mom with very clear dementia home instead of trying to get her sent where she needs to be. Not one single person from this hole returned my call either.

Getting someone to call you back in this facility is next to impossible.
