Best eye doctor I’ve seen in years.Dr. Gonzales is terrific. She answered all of my questions and took the time needed to make me fee like an important part of her day.Additionally, David at the Fishers location spent a lot of time helping me pick just the right frames. He knows his inventory and what looks good on his clients.

I was referred to Barrett Eye Care by my friend, Dr. Anne Clark, retired ophthalmologist.I was impressed with the efficiency and kindness of the office staff. Dr. Barrett and the technician listened to my reason for coming, and answered my questions thoroughly.At my last appointment in another eye care center, I was told my vision could not be improved. Needless to say, I was thrilled when I learned after my vision exam, I could get new lenses with a different script enabling me to see better - now that was good news for sure!!! I would not typically complain. I’ve been into the Carmel office twice, and I have called once to ask what can be done if my prescription was wrong. I’ve never had a friendly experience here. The doctor, the people at the front desk, the guy who answered the phone. Everyone is so abrupt and matter of fact in their way of communicating. It’s borderline rude. It was just an underwhelming experience from start to finish. And yes, my prescription is wrong. I guess I will just get a new eye doctor. The two stars are just based on location convenience and the fact that one star feels overly dramatic.

Expensive. Insurance doesnt seem to help (only takes health insurance--wish I would have called my insurance company before I went to get a cost estimate). Waited over an hour and saw him for 5-10 minutes. Didnt talk to me much and acted a little put off when I asked him a couple of questions. I think there are a lot more things I could have spent almost $200 on. I will not be returning.
