I am not one to leave reviews, but The Extra Smile is deserving; the 100+ other positive remarks echo my same sentiment. Not many can say their dentist is an extraordinary place, but this place has earned this descriptor. The operations are efficient and timely, but each person possesses a charisma of genuineness directed toward others care. The facility is immaculate, and from an outsiders perspective, the dental tools & technology are cutting edge. Dr. Hoftiezer is a wonderful individual who is relatable and professional, but I would be remiss if I did not state that the entire team collectively is superb. I cannot say enough great things about this practice.

We recently relocated to Indy from Dallas and having to find new healthcare providers has been one of the biggest challenges.When I drove past The Extra Smile one day, it made me chuckle and I knew that was the dentist we needed to go to. I love a pun!!My husband and I both had appointments this week and are really happy with our decision.Everyone was so kind and welcoming. Our hygienist Ashley was so smart and thorough. I was a nervous wreck about my appointment because I had seen a dentist in 3 years, she didn’t once make me feel guilty for neglecting my teeth.Dr Tim was also fantastic. He was so friendly and explained things in a way that was easy to understand.He was so knowledgeable and gave me some really good advice, and recommendations.Looking forward to future visits and I even plan and switching my 10 year old to Dr Tim, from the pediatric dentist he is currently seeing.

Love this dentist and his whole staff. Everyone we talked to today was so kind and welcoming. My husbands teeth have been hurting him for months and the pain is completely gone now. They also did an amazing job with my 1 and a half year old during his happy visit. Highly recommend!

This was a truly exceptional experience from a highly skilled and family-oriented team to a challenging problem (ie lost half of my molar , right before a holiday break !) They clearly explain everything, share financial info. before decisions are made, etc.. I was also part of the first group of patients after the COVID shutdown. As a Six Sigma level Process Pro, I was thoroughly impressed with the changes they have made to their ventilation systems, PPE, procedures, etc.. to ensure everyones safety. I have been blessed to have had some really good dentists over the years (IN, IA, PA, etc..) These folks are the BEST ! Dont give it a second thought - you are in GREAT hands ! !

As much as I dread going to the dentist I love coming to The extra smile ( when I am forced too:). I give everyone a hard time in good fun and they just smile right back at me. It’s awesome that Doc is down to earth. He tells me the truth and that’s what I need to hear whether I like it or not! Keep up the great work!!

Im pretty nervous typically when it comes to getting cavities filled but they really put me at ease. They really do a great job here. A bonus to their office is that I find them to be family friendly for my 3 kids as well. Thats huge for our family. I highly suggest them.

This is the MOST amazing dental office and I am so grateful I found them! I moved from out of state and was so stressed about finding a dentist here, but thankfully I found this practice! My hygienist cleaned my teeth perfectly and got off every single stain off and the dentist helped me on the spot with a small filling I needed and even called that evening to ensure my bite felt okay. We lost our former dentist (who was very good and we hated to leave) because of going on Medicare and had to switch to a new insurance. We finally found Dr Hoftiezer. Dr. Hoftiezer is the greatest! My family has been seeing him for 5 years. I have had implants, crowns, fillings, & everything in between which he does very well but the thing I like best is that he puts up with my eccentricities. His entire staff is phenomenal!

I had a severe toothache and called at 9am on Thursday; able to schedule me at 1pm that afternoon. Diagnosed possible sinus problem and prescribed antibiotic. Havent had any problems since then.
