Cheyenne was absolutely amazing!! First off her vibes and personality is on point. She definitely cares about her clients and it shows. I told Cheyenne exactly what I wanted and she did just that. My color turned out perfect!! I also got a deep conditioning treatment and let me just say....I could see and feel a huge difference in my hair immediately. This is my happy place! I have been seeing Lindsay since she started at Method a few years ago and I have never been disappointed. Lindsay is always great with a recommendation for color or a cut. She is great with figuring out what you want for your hair. I cannot tell you how much I love the color as well as the Brazilian bow out she does for me! I have loved Method so much I got my husband to start going too! Lindsay is my person, but I also love chatting with the other stylist and the front desk people are also exceptional! Cody and his team will bend over backwards to work with you and your schedule to get you what you need.I cannot recommend Method enough!

I was visiting from out of state and was in serious need of a trim. It had been 10 months since my last cut (I have very long, fine, straight hair) and this place was recommended to me. I scheduled the soonest available appointment with who I thought was Carla, but when I arrived I realized I heard incorrectly - my stylist was CARLOS. I had never had a male cut my hair before...After hair wash, Carlos parted my hair down the middle (without asking how I part my hair - I stayed quiet), but I soon learned this was just to get everything in place prior to cutting. After a few minutes, he parted my hair exactly where I forcefully part it, which demonstrates he paid acute attention to how it was parted before the wash. And my hair was ca-razy when I came in...4 days of rice water scrunched hair without wash! I told him the simple look I was after (get rid of the long layers but keep the length and add face framing), and he exceeded my expectations. His technique and ability to manifest what I wanted only revealed itself after I washed and (barely!) styled my hair myself. I am in LOVE.So lesson learned, dont be discouraged to try out a male stylist. He may just show you that hes just as good if not better than his female counterparts 😉 Ill have to come back to Indy for my next haircut with Carlos!

Hi so I was excited to try a nice hair salon in Carmel but unfortunately, hairstylist Liz did not pull through. 1. She commented on my thin hair and asked if I had been sick. 2. She was not very inviting and friendly, barely spoke the entire time. 3. The face framing I asked for was uneven. 4. I felt very pushed through, like she was ready to get me out of the door as soon as I came in. 5. She didn’t even offer to style my hair and had the audacity to charge $55 for a HAIRCUT. very displeased. Was expecting more. Don’t go here

I have been going to Lindsey Miller at Method for cut & balayage and she is absolutely amazing - I’m always thrilled with my hair. She has an artist’s eye for color and style! I moved 2 hours away and still drive to her. Highly recommend Lindsey for a wonderful salon experience.

Go see Uma!! She did an awesome job cutting my hair. I probably went to the wrong places in the past because I’ve never liked how my hair looked right after coming out of other salons and always regretted going shorter. I love how my new cut looks and have zero regrets!

Ive been growing my hair for a couple years and am picky about balancing a longer haircut with keeping my hair healthy. Tim understood and was incredibly thorough, communicative and knowledgeable about trim vs cut, products, and healthy styling: teaching me how to make my hair look great on a daily basis. He put me at ease right away and delivered beyond my expectations. The salon is super clean and comfortable, but totally upscale at the same time, and the staff is friendly and professional. Tim ROCKS!

I’ve been looking for a salon in the central Indiana area that I like. I’m very particular and found several decent places that I never really loved. I’m leaving method salon once again, blown away. From the atmosphere to the talent, they will exceed your expectations. I have hair extensions from a different salon and the staff corrected an issue I was having with the sew in. Their prices are great! I worked with Tim this last time and will never book with anyone again! He was hilarious and fun. The best part is that they really educate you so you can keep your beautiful hair and healthy. Overall they do amazing work, which is the most important. If you are on the fence or looking for a salon, give this place a chance. I know that you will leave happy and excited to go back. I know everyone is great but Tim is my personal favorite!

Lindsey did a fab job with my 2c/3a hair and was super friendly. I’m in from NYC for the next few months and was nervous about a local cut but this was a great experience. Prices are reasonable, service was fast and very friendly.

They have absolutely no experience in hair coloring. I have been having blonde highlights for years and I have never experienced such a horrible job and the price was so expensive. Even the owner tried to fix it. They could not get it right. I ended up going to another salon that fixed it and it was perfect. Exactly how I wanted. I don’t think they have the experience in highlights and coloring. There are many other salons in the area, and I found a gem that was able to fix their debacle.

Amy, the owner, is my stylist and I love how she cuts and colors my hair. I appear on TV regularly so how my hair looks is extremely important to me. I have been going here since I moved here 4 years ago and I would not go anywhere else! Carlos also does beautiful blowouts. Everyone is very polite and customer-service oriented. They carry the top quality salon brands, too, like Oribe and Sachajuan, which you cannot just get anywhere.

I cannot reccomend method salon enough. I have been going to Lindsay for over a year now and love my experience. I know each and everytime time I am in her chair my hair is in good hands. The front desk team is extremely professional and the products they use smell AMAZING!

Wow, I wish I found this salon and Uma 10 years ago! I have had disastrous hair experiences at other top rated salons in Indy for the last couple of years. Most recently my hair was chemically damaged and cut improperly using haphazard cutting techniques- this was after growing out a pixie for 2.5 years as a result from another unskilled, overpriced stylist that also chemically burned my hair. I knew I felt I was in the right place the minute I stepped into this salon. Uma was extremely professional with her comments when I was telling her about my past experiences, educated me during the process and I could tell she really cares about her clients. Best precision cut I have had since I went to Scandals over a decade ago. I highly recommend this salon and Uma!

This was my second time going to Carlos and I will definitely be going back to him. He is awesome. My hair turned out exactly how I asked for it both times. He took his time and made sure I was happy with the result. Scalp massage was very relaxing. Area was clean and the Price was affordable I was expecting the cost to be more.

Since COVID hit back in March, I had totally let my hair go. It was aweful! My color was faded and grown out to my shoulders, my ends were so split that my hair didnt actually have a specific length to it. Some of my friends told me about Method Salon so I booked an appointment with Uma. She is a miracle worker! My gosh, what an amazing difference. I feel so pretty! My color looks fantastic. By far the best color I have ever gotten and I am soooo in love with my cut. I feel like a whole new person. My hair looks healthy and feels great. I will never go to anyone but Uma ever again. I had the most amazing experience at this salon. The shampoo/blow dry was amazing... best head massage ever. My hair had the perfect amount of volume and I felt like a rock star! Tim was so personable and gave me some helpful tips for styling at home. I would definitely recommend!!

Tim did a great job on my cut & eyebrow arch! Like other stylists, he encouraged me to not wash my hair daily, but unlike others, he showed me products to use that would make my hair feel soft and clean on the days when I don’t wash it. The scalp massage during my shampoo was the bomb! I’m very pleased and will definitely be back to see Tim!

I don’t often write reviews, but I feel I must. I have been told over the years that due to the red undertones in my hair it is very hard to achieve the Ash tones that I so love. Kelly at Method is amazing with color, achieving for me the balanced Ash color that I want as my hair naturally grays. She always errs on the side of caution as we try new colors and styles, it is obvious that her concern is keeping my hair in great condition. She has recently introduced me to a new product line, Oribe, I love these products, my hair feels great! Thanks so much Kelly.

I got my hair done this morning and Carlos did a phenomenal job, He is truly amazing. I highly recommend him and the salon as well, everything is so clean and organized and all the staff is very friendly.

First time customer yesterday and was not sure what to expect. Tiffany was my stylist. Tiffany was patient, kind, professional and knew what she was doing. I was very impressed when she said she had to go get some of her tools from another room because she was cleaning them before I got there. I was also very surprised at how reasonable the price was when I went to pay, which means I can afford to come back more often. My hair is long and thick and was frizzy on the ends. Tiffany turned my hair into a work of art. She gave me a long layer, that also framed my face a bit. My hair was as smooth as silk when she got done. I didnt know my hair could look like that. I had not had my hair done in quite some time so I was already nervous, especially going somewhere new. Tiffany put my mind at ease. I cant thank her enough and will definitely be back.

Method Salon is great. My hairdresser Kristen has been really awesome. The staff is friendly and courteous. The salon is clean and chic. Would definitely recommend it. They also have a boutique which has really cool stuff which you can shop for.

Uma does such a wonderful work! She is very precise and communicates better than any stylist I’ve ever had. I first came to her a year and a half ago with a bad color job (which I tried to fix myself🥴). Uma got me out of the hole I dug for myself and my hair is the best it’s ever looked. Method is a comfortable salon with a cute small selection of boutique style clothing that you’ll definitely want to buy after getting your hair perfectly done by your stylist. My stylist is Brooke and she has done my hair perfectly colored and cut multiple times. I found my place!

Tiffany at Method Salon is an incredible stylist! She has succeeded in coloring my hair the shade that I had been trying to get back to since leaving Chicago (and my salon of over 13 years) in 2010, and putting hair extensions in my hair, which has suffered from hormone changes and loss following the birth of my second daughter 3 years ago. For the first time in my life, I get compliments on my hair, and it is all due to her work! Further, she does NOT over-charge you, nor does she attempt to up-sell products to you that you dont need. She discusses everything with you in advance, and offers you the cheapest and the most expensive options to choose, letting you make the ultimate decision. If an extension falls out (which doesnt happen as frequently as it did with my previous stylist, despite her charging me FOUR TIMES MORE for extensions), she or the salon make arrangements to get the extension replaced the same day or the very next day. My daughter also goes to Tiffany, and she adores her work, too.Everyone we have encountered at Method is kind, professional, and considerate. Kody could not be more friendly, and the owner (I dont know her name, despite having talked to her) is also very professional and ensures you are happy with your service. I am terrible with names, or I would list some of the other stylists and staff that I have had the privilege of talking to while at their salon.Summing it up, Method Salon is by far the best salon in Carmel or Indianapolis. I would argue that they even exceed the service I received at my Gold Coast salon in Chicago (though not even close to being as pricey!). If you want incredible color/highlights, extensions, a great cut, and incredible service at a reasonable price, go to Method Salon!!!!

Kelly is the best hair stylist I have ever been too. I have very thick hair that she cuts and styles beautifully and her blowouts lasts for 3-4 days. She always listens carefully to the look I am going for and she asks just the right questions so that I am pleased every time. My hair is almost 100% gray so covering these grays has always been a challenge for me. Since going to Kelly she has been able to cover my grays perfectly every time. I also appreciate her getting me in and out of the salon quickly without me ever thinking i am being rushed or neglected. If you are looking for a stylist who will cater to your personal needs then Kelly is the stylist for you.

Im a secret shopper. My assignment was to be a difficult customer who is upset with the options and the price. A lot of times our shop instructions dont give us a business name just an address. I went to this shop by mistake.The stylist would have failed the shop for sure and the receptionist would have scored a bit low. The stylist was very passive-aggressive. She used really cold water to wash my hair and was not super polite. She stopped speaking to me and at one point actually kicked something in anger.Her boss didnt order this so Im not mentioning any names but just wanted to warn people that the customer service here can be a bit rough especially considering its a premium salon. The hair cut was fine though and they did offer a same day appointment.

My daughter told me about Mallory at Method Salon and Im so glad she did! Mallory has given me the haircut Ive always wanted. She takes the time to find out what her clients want and then carefully constructs the perfect haircut. The Salon itself is an upbeat, well-run business. I love the Oribe products that they sell. My hair was butchered and fried by one of their stylists. All I wanted was long layers and a light trim, pretty much the same thing she did the last two times I saw her. Im not sure what happened, but she took 2 off the length and at least 2.5 straight across the back above the bottom, no layering at all. And to add insult to injury she fried MY NEWLY CUT ENDS with over drying and an extremely hot straightening iron. My hair went from long, beautiful shiny hair to looking like I cut it myself and the damage on the ends looks like I havent had a trim in 10 years.This is by far the worst cut Ive ever had and I sent a text message from the link they sent, but I havent heard one word.I am now in the process of finding a new stylist to fix the damage that was done at this salon.

She took extra time, got down to my level to listen, and went through all of the styles I had pictures of and explained how each would work with my hair. The products used are wonderful! I’ve been going to Bri for the past five years for my haircuts. She is amazing. She does an excellent job at providing her expert opinion on how to best style my hair. She has recommended awesome products to keep my hair looking healthy and luscious between appointments. I’ve received other services from her as well, such as Brazilian blowouts and color. Tiffany was my stylist. Today was the first time I had been to this salon. I merely wanted a blowout. I had a holiday party to go to, and I wanted my hair to look nice. Tiffany listened to my request and she did an excellent job on it. I tipped her well due to all the extra time she gave me on my first visit. My hair is long, fine and has damage-she made it super smooth and looked great! I will make another appointment to have her highlight my hair. I was at another place earlier today and I HAD to have been the stylists first haircut ever. Dead serious, I could have done a better job with a fork and a pocket knife. It was bad. I called Method and made an appointment with Jordan to repair it. Luckily, Jordan was able to fix it. It was a tall order, but my hair looks like it was meant to be this way and not like it was repaired. I cant say enough good about this place. Its clean, modern and looks nice. Jordan was polite, professional and gave me a great haircut. Ive been searching for a permanent place, and have found it.

My daughter HATES getting her hair cut. She cried all the way to the appointment. Hannah took it in stride, cheered her up with some Hot Pink hair chalk and gave her a great cut that she actually really loves. Her hair look so healthy now. Cost was not cheap but reasonable for a quality salon and cut. I do wish they had washed it as well for more of a full experience, but still happy with the results.

My hair is not the easiest to work with, and Hannah does an exceptional job to tame my hair. She takes her time and is very personable in the process. I would recommend men or women to this salon!

They went to Method Salon & how great a job fixing the peoples hair. I decided to try the Method Salon since the do the job right the first time. I was really worried because I am picky about my hair color so is my husband. I was matched with Jordan I love her customer service & how well she did my hair beautiful the first time. I have started growing it out again & Jordan has managed to keep my hair looking amazing the whole time. They are the BEST.

Bri was amazing! I came to the salon hoping she could fix my blonde balayage that I had gotten done at another salon a couple weeks ago. It was so uneven, chunky, and the ash blonde I was supposed to have was more of a bright yellow. Bri was able to put lowlights throughout my hair that matched my original hair color and figured out a way to blend it with the blonde. She added a toner to the blonde and was able to get the yellow out so it looks more like natural sun-kissed hair. I’m so happy with it and I refuse to go to any other salon now!

Hannah took me from a medium length haircut to a super short pixie and I could not be more happy with the overall experience! She took the time to sit down with me and discuss what I wanted, took the time and had fun, and she added her own flair to my cut which I LOVE! I will be recommending this salon to all of my friends & family in the Indy/Carmel/Westfield area! :)

See the pics of what I asked for, a pic of a previous service I have gotten in the past (from a diff salon) that proves what I asked for is achievable, and finally, what I received from Elissa @ Method Salon.I went in asking for a blonde balayage - showed them a picture of what I wanted (see in photo) and the same photo you see of my hair styled that way from a past service to prove it can be done (my hair was darker when I did this the previous time and look how light it turned out). Instead I walked out looking like a girl that graduated high school in 2007 with BAD highlights and dark hair (last photo).I came into the salon with the expectation of high quality service given all of the good reviews, but they had a three or four very novice hairstylist there--I’m talking started in January kind of novices charging $165 for cuts and colors-- Which is fine if the service backs up the charge. I’m used to pay $250+ for my hair back home and was willing to pay that here for something done RIGHT. It was not.I called a couple days after my service and said that despite enjoying the girl who did my hair, and knowing that she tried he best given her tenure, I was not satisfied with the service and wanted to provide the feedback. Cody the manager said he could get me in for a complimentary service and that people don’t always find the right stylist when trying them out, and to give them a shot to fix it before I tried a different salon. I appreciated him hearing me out and wanting to make it right, so I agreed and scheduled the appointment.When I arrived for my repair service Cody wasn’t there to speak, and Karlos (the new guy doing my repair) said he would have to charge me for the service. No, please confirm with Cody I said. Upon talking to Cody, Karlos came back and offered a partial highlight service that is NOT what I asked for and would not fix the problem. I said no thank you. I want my hair done right and you guys are doing everything to be stingy about it. Im sorry, but I don’t want you touching my hair anymore.On top of all of this, because Cody wasnt there, the girl that did my hair wrong had to check me in, and I had to explain to her face what I didnt like. I told myself that was the karma I got for coming back, and anything I said to Cody should be shared with her, so I did, but please note that Cody ASSURED me it wouldnt be awkward, and it was exactly that throughout the entire experience.This has been the worst salon experience of my life and I would not recommend Method Salon or Cody as a salon manager. Zero class or accountability.

LOVE Uma, shes been cutting and coloring my hair for 5+ years! I have thick coarse hair and keep it short. She knows how to take the weight out of it while leaving it stylish. And shes create a master color combination that I always get complimented on each time. I sometimes sit in her chair and let her do what she does best...never disappoints! She also does and amazing job with curly hair (my daughter always looks forward to getting her hair done with Uma)! Definitely worth the drive for us from midtown!

Jordan is the best at color and cuts! She listens and I love that she provides recommendations when Im unsure. Clean and friendly salon with high quality products.

Brooke is the BOMB! She can do it all. I am SO picky about my hair. She took me from dark brown to blonde flawlessly! She is very talented, kind, and will remember you personally! Managemnet hit the jackpot with all their employees. This is a clean, judgement free and very welcoming establishment. Excellently managed and the owners are the best too. If I could give fifty stars I would.

I love Bri at Method Salon. Bri knows how to cut and style curly hair - it isnt easy to find a stylist who knows the ins and outs of curls! Every time she cuts my hair, I leave with a smile on my face knowing I just received a great cut. She listens to me and makes suggestions based on what I am willing to do to style my hair. I owe all the compliments on my hair to Bri! She is great and I would recommend her to anyone who wants a great stylist!

Uma is the best stylist! I have been going to her for many years. I literally drive from Chicago to Indy every 6 weeks just to get my hair done by her. Im extremely picky and she has never disappointed me! I have tried a few different places, but no one compares. Driving 3 hours is worth every second for what I get in return. The salon is also very trendy and they use great products.

I went into method salon to get a summer blonde look, and that’s what I got! Lindsey did an incredible job lightening up my hair with a Carmel blonde balayage along with a fresh cut. She is personable and talented with what she does - I would recommend her to anyone looking for a good stylist!

This place is great and Angela Middleton is a rock star. She is great with blondes and color, a good listener and I would recommend her to anyone, whether youre looking for a new trendy style or something more subtle.

I LOVE Method Salon! They have such as chic yet comfortable atmosphere. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. I cant say enough about my stylist, Mallery Neff. I have been with her for almost 10 years and she is simply fantastic. She always makes my hair fabulous but at the same time we have a great time at each appointment. She is so talented and I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a new stylist.

I have followed my stylist, Marie, to this trendy salon. Marie has been doing my hair for the last 13 years!!!- and I always leave a very happy client. Well I found my happy hair Salon! Method Salon! Amy is the best! I have tried for years to get really great blonde highlights and they were always golden or yellow but Amy is magical! She really knows her stuff. My hair actually changes when I go there. The blonde is perfection! The texture is what every lady wants! The feel is amazing! I am not lying when I say GO TO METHOD SALON because they really know what they are doing. Amy really truly knows her stuff and she is very passionate about what she does! I have a layered stacked hair cut and I have never had anyone take the time like she does to get every cut and snip down to perfection! I have lived in Indy for 16 years and have never taken the time to write a review but now I am because Amy and her salon Method Salon are the best!!! Dont believe me? Want great color and someone who will give your hair TLC??? Go to Method! Trust me you and your hair wont regret it! Its truly magical!!!! Do something amazing for your hair.....go there!!! They forget to greet and smile and its comparitevly expensive ! I dont think I want to go there again! My stylist was good though but the receptionist was full of attitude for no good reason !

Not only is Julie an amazing hair artist, Method’s environment is welcoming and current, without being to over-the-top trendy.
