All the stylist are great! Always get a Great cut when I come in. If you use the online check in you know when to arrive and there is very little wait

I have a lady in Great Clips that I like how she cuts my hair and then going to her for the last 6 months I call and make sure shes there before I go and the price is good

Absolutely Fantastic! 👍 My husband and I were walk ins on a Friday afternoon. They got us right into the system. You can register/sign-in online before coming in. That will save you time, and get you right into a chair. The two ladies and gentleman that were working were so incredibly nice and professional. The stylist that cut my hair was perfect. She even gave me great advice for the future health of my scalp and hair. She slso gave my husband a nice fade. We both left very happy with the service we received. I highly recommend the Merchant Square location for whatever your hair needs are. PLEASE, dont forget to TIP, especially when they do such a great job. Thank You Great Clips! 💙✌

Friendly and efficient staff. Courtney cut my 2 year olds hair perfectly and he didnt cry once! Nick did an awesome job on my son and husbands hair. Best haircut on my husband in a long time and hes been going to other Great Clip locations for years. We will definitely come back!

Very slow service. 40 min wait tie turned out to be 1 hour 40 mins. Very rude behaviour by the male staff working there. Hope the management takes necessary actions. Will never go to his location again.

The service at Great Clips at Merchants Square is not what it used to be. This afternoon, I checked in online, and it showed I had a 3 min wait. When I arrived, there were 3 employees cutting hair on 3 customers, with no one else waiting. After 10 or 12 minutes, 2 employees finished with their customers. One said she had to leave, and the other said he needed to go smoke, leaving me still sitting there waiting. I walked out.

Worst service Ive ever experienced, staff looks like they dont like their jobs, take frequent breaks to eat, go to the restroom or just simply to talk to each other and dont even apologize, my family and I are Hispanic and I felt neither wanted to cut our children hair just because of this we waited like 40 min and we only had two people before us, they acted like they didnt want to provide service to us, shame on you!. We walked out and went to another location. Do not recommend anymore, awful, rude and discriminatory staff.

I had been a loyal great clips client for about 15 years before visiting this location. They essentially called me a liar one day over a timed out online check-in. This prompted me to explore barber alternatives, and there are plenty of of them close that provide a better cut at a fair price. Support local businesses over this chain that is just focused on moving people in and out as quickly as possible.

Its better to listen how the customer wants it, rather than how you wanted to see me,- asked to cut just the tips of my hair all they left me tips of my hair

Got a haircut from a guy there this week (Nick maybe was his name?). He was polite and professional, but he seemed to rush through the cut as there were people sitting in the waiting area. He spent maybe 8 minutes total on the cut. He wasnt very careful and chopped off the front really short. It will grow out again, but there wasnt a lot of attention to detail. I had a lot of hair clippings on my face, ears, and back of my neck. That seems like a miss. There also wasnt any offer to put product in it, which isnt a must have but is a nicety.Ive been visiting this place off and on for 5 years. I think they were at the top of their game under the former manager (Becca I think?). Would advise on more training on attention to detail and on not rushing.

Got a great haircut from the Manager, Teresa, who has been cutting hair for over 30 years! Very convenient location and a short wait. I am very impressed with the haircut, especially for the price, but I was moreso impressed with her handling of a difficult customer making a scene over a few bucks. She remained calm, professional, and handled it in a way I dont think many people would have been able to. Props to her for standing up to someone (especially in Carmel) and not being taken advantage of. Thanks for the haircut!

I signed in on the mobile app and by the time I arrived I was next in line. Everyone in the store was very friendly and the stylist who cut my hairs name was Stephanie. She was very nice, easy to talk to, and she did a wonderful job on cutting my hair. I will definitely be coming back for my next hair cut.

I literally just walked out a few minutes ago after impulsively coming in for a trim. Stylists name was Shawna? Shauna? Sorry I didnt get the spelling! She wasnt at all intimidated by my thick hair as several people have been in the past. She trimmed up my layered bob with a razor and got it exactly how I wanted it! Totally worth the trip to Carmel from Indy. After years of searching for haircuts that are decent but inexpensive, I think I may have found the place!

Funny. I never went to Great Clips...but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express and had a fantastic cut from Leslie at Salon Loft 10 in the Merchants Plaza off 116th and Keystone. Just tell her PJ sent you!

I always don’t like to leave a review especially if I had a bad experience with someone or service, but this time I couldn’t. She destroyed my hair, the issue that I had a short haircut’s style so no way to fix it. She’s is not qualified to hold scissor.

They were really nice and very polite, they even complimented my Vemon sweater. But the man who did my hair made it a little too short for my liking. Which is okay, but what I didn’t enjoy was that he didn’t put the black cloak on me correctly and at one point he had to rip it open just to cut my hair. He also Blew at my neck to get rid of the hair instead of using a hair dryer. My work uniform was covered in hair from the collar all the way down to my pants. No amount of shaking could get it out. It’s very itchy.

Ive had nothing but a good experience here. The last time I was there the lady doing my hair was super friendly and did a great job but when I got home something about my cut just didnt set right (its kinda like a off balance feel) so I gave them a call and asked if I could come back in the next day to see if we could fix the problem. They were happy to!It turns out Im just weird(my words) and need the back shorter for it to feel right for me.They didnt charge me and made sure to make specific notes in the computer for my next cut.

AVOID - had to get my head shaved after getting a haircut there. It was supposed to be a simple mens short haircut. I ended up with hair patches of different length all over my head.The other barber shop could not do anything to save my hair - they had to shave it using number 1 clip.Avoid this place if you dont want your hair destroyed!!!

I had Morgan as my stylist. I could see no interest or inclination from her to give me the haircut I wanted. In spite of showing previous pictures, all she did was just run the trimmer amok and give me the worst possible haircut of all time. For the beard again, I showed her the picture. What I got eventually was significantly different than last time. Unhappy with the shave, I asked her to clean it all up, but all they are licensed to do is run trimmer. They can’t even give a clean shave and charge $8 for such a service. Will avoid it going in future

Not sure why everyone has a bad review, Im not familiar with all the stylists, but Seth cut my sons hair and did a super job fading him up, shaving a hard part and thinning out his thick hair. He did a great job with it. Attention to detail.

You get what you pay for when it comes to hair cuts and what you pay isnt much here compared to most hair salons. My husband did a better job, untrained in hair cutting, cutting my kiddos hair than this place. We have given it multiple tries and have had a variety of people and always there are large spots left untrimmed and touch ups that need to be done after.

The man who cut my hair gave me a bowl cut. Idk who thought it was a good idea to give a chimpanzee a pair of scissors

I checked in online and the estimated wait was 35 minutes. Showed up 20 mins. later to find the stylist, who had previously shared her affection for marijuana, so stoned she could barely walk!!! After stumbling around for another 20 minutes, eyes glowing red, she decided that she needed to go to the bank! After another 10 minutes of waiting, I got up and left without a single word from the other stylist there. Avoid this location at all costs!!!

Had a great stylelist that did excactly what I wanted. I don’t remember her name but she had she had short curly blonde hair.

I just returned from this location, I had been a long time customer of over three years. They would not accept a return of a Nioxin that was either defective or the claimed benefits given to me were a lie. In fact it made my scalp very dry. I travel for work and have had to go to other locations for a haircut, so was unable to return right away. There is no posted return policy and the manufacturers website says to bring it back for a refund, not more than 10% of the product had been used. I was not allowed to return the product by the manager and told to leave the store in a very rude manner. I have never been more unsatisfied with a small business that relies on its repeat customers for income, unbelievable! All over a few bucks! I hope that the actions of this manager were not indicative of the Great Clips brand.

I probably shouldve complained and would have if I hadnt been so exhausted. I asked for a one and a half on the side and to clean up the edges. My stylist cut off half of my side burns (vertically) and shaped up my temples by shaving off a half inch. I have thin lines for sideburns.I look ridiculous and have never experienced such a bad and outlandish haircut. The lady shaved my head like it owed her money and was distracted in conversation most of my cut. I will NEVER go back. Waste of money and time.

2nd worst hair cut everhad to point out uneven places several times and still unevenhad to request 4 times that i wanted it above my eyebrows.stylest could not explain to me what feather or layered meant.my bad, for going back to great clips.

This location is supposed to open at 9am. I have been waiting here with another customer for 20 minutes and there is still nobody here. So unprofessional and downright embarrassing for this business to be incapable of opening at their posted time.
