They were very professional. The barber allowed me to wear my mask at all times. The place was spotless. I will be returning to this place. The haircut was cut just the way I wanted it. She did stop two times to ask me if I wanted more hair cut off the top or more off the back of my head. I liked that she did not try to sell me a lot of extra stuff. She said she would be keeping a record of my hair style, so I dont have to explain every time I come in. I think anyone would be happy going to this place.

I actually didnt get any service here, went inside to ask if they were available to cut my sons hair. They were completely booked, my first impression was the environment was very welcoming and professional. The staff were polite. I hope to try them out in the future.

I am a FORMER regular client. Roosters has a great staff, my stylist was awesome, its a nice, well kept establishment. The reason Im a FORMER client is they just got to expensive, the prices just kept going up and up, my last visit was $50.00 (plus tip). That price for a mens haircut in my opinion, is a bit much. I liked what my stylist did during my visits, she was great, but sorry, my pockets just arent deep enough to justify that expense to myself. Judging by their website, the price is up again.

The barbers are really skilled and they use quality products. After my haircut I was very satisfied but I was not convinced on spending the money every 3 weeks until the next morning when I took a shower and comb my hair, everything fell into place it was just amazing I will return over and over again.

Walked in 3 stylist stood there for 10 minutes or so no one said a word. Which actually was a good thing because when i looked around place is dirty and smelled and it was not the smell of a clean place. Wont ever walk into another one YOU MADE A GREAT FIRST IMPRESSION NOT!!!!!!!!!!!

First time here. Selected Juanita (Carlsbad location), from the on line appointment system. Mind you I had not had a hair cut in a very long time , was for my Sons wedding, and was apprehensive. I was so so glad I had selected Juanita. She was amazing, so skilled with a great personality, hit it off immediately. Made me feel comfortable showed concern and listened to understand my goals.. Best haircut ever, best stylist ever.. Wife loved the outcome as did I.. Some question price.. I question cheap and feel you dont get skills, and outcome like Juanita delivers by going cheap.. Roosters in Carlsbad is one of the best men’s grooming shops I have ever been to. Everyone who works in there was incredibly friendly and very helpful. The owner David is a stand up guy and knows customer service to the T. I had my beard trimmed by Rob and this guy knows his stuff more than any barber I’ve ever dealt with. I recommend this spot to anyone who is looking to have a high quality haircut or beard trim.

Great place for a haircut or shave

Consistently a really good haircut. This place does cost a few dollars more than the gimmicky chain places, but its worth it. If you want a quick good enough haircut, you can take your chances and save a few bucks. If you want to *know* that youre going to look good when you leave, put on your big boy pants and go see the true professionals at roosters.

I love this salon and have been coming here for over a year. My only complaint is they cant seem to keep there stylists. Ive had 4 in the last year and all have left...They were all great. Now I have to start all over with a new one

Firstly the shop is very nice. You walk in and find yourself in a beautiful shop full of happy faces and it makes you feel right at home. My barber for the Gentlemens Choice and 7 Step Shave was Rachel and she was absolutely amazing. She was a stunning example of what you wish a human to be and does amazing work. The facial treatments and hit towel were relaxing and left you feeling energized after and I will certainly be back to visit again when I am back in the area. If I could I would give Rachel 6 stars.

This is an amazing barbershop that will meet all of your expectations. My stylist Micaela was nice, helpful, and very experienced. I got the Club Cut which I felt was well worth the price. I was very pleased with the entire experience and would highly suggest this to any man who is looking for a great looking haircut.

Most of my hair is facial now rather than on top like it used to be. As such i certainly have the option to go into any typical place and pay about 15 to 20 dollars for them to do a 5 minute buzz down. I however choose to come here, pay more, but get treated to a proper grooming experience and relaxation. Clean shaved head and face with skin treatment as well as a masterfully groomed goatee with the hair I choose to keep. This is the Gentlemans Choice experience and it occurs over a luxurious hour and a half or so. So think about that as well, 20 dollars for 5 minute cut is 5 dollars a MINUTE in terms of rates as opposed to this relaxing hour and a half grooming for 60 dollars which comes to about a $1.50 per minute. So maybe not an every week thing, but take it from a man that has little hair left to cut... This place is worth it.

Been coming here for a couple of years. Service is great and they do a great job. They are popular, so you must make appointments ahead of time, but its usually easy to get an appointment a couple of days ahead.

Roosters has always been my go to for a great haircut, but was EXTREMELY disappointed to learn that my stylist, Breana, is no longer there. I researched a bit and located her at another barbershop, and went there. It was great to see her, but she was in this cramped corner of a very small shop that didnt even afford her with the equipment she needed to do her job as she did at Roosters yet they were essentially the same price...for just a basic barbershop haircut. Oh, they did not accept credit cards. A VERY SAD situation.

Go see Breanna! I have never experienced a more professional, clean, relaxed and comfortable haircut. Not only did Breanna give me the best haircut Ive had in years, I also felt the price was extremely affordable... especially for what they offer. I cant wait to book my next appointment! You should definitely try it out if your in the market for an extremely great and affordable haircut/shave/facial.

Tina is great. But, they have not been able to hold 3 of the last 4 reservations. I show up to find they put someone else to cut my hair. Its hard to imagine an organization that would be this inept.

Very disappointed. Scheduled an appointment for my beau to see Breanna, a licensed barber with great comments on here. We arrived well ahead of our appointment time, only to be told that the system says Britnee. I show the confirmation screen (and email), and no correction was made to this error. So my beau had to meet with a non-barber who could not do a straight razor fade.Also it would be great if the online appointment selection gives the military discount option. But oh well, were not returning. If you use this place, I DO NOT recommend booking online until they fix their system.

Roosters is fantastic! Youll get a much better haircut than you would at any of the Supercuts/Greatclips places. Theyll get the back of your neck with a straight razor and wash your hair afterwards. You will pay a little more, but they take their time, and its worth it.If you have the opportunity to get the shave, its awesome. It takes about 45 minutes, and the entire process is great. Its also a little expensive, but sometimes you have to treat yourself.

My stylist Tina was excellent. She offered a great consultation and had a real attention to detail.

Management is out of touch. 45 for a regular haircut? Never seen that price for this service. Will not return
