Came here to get make up and hair done for a maternity shoot. Loved how my make up looked as well as my hair. Love the fact that this is a great option for getting makeup and hair done in the same place at a reasonable price. Make up artist was great and friendly and wore a mask, and the hair stylist great too and wore a mask after I asked since pregnant women are extremely high risk. I appreciate how they were accommodating and just awesome people. Will definitely will be coming back here.

Got my hair and makeup done last Saturday for a wedding and was so pleased with how great both my stylist and make up artist were! I got so many compliments on my eye make up and hair. They really listened to what I wanted and I loved how everything turned out. I had a WONDERFUL experience at Blo Blow Dry Bar Carlsbad! The staff are kind, knowledgeable and really know how to pamper their clients well. I loved the scalp massage, blow dry/curls and I’m so happy that my hair lasted several days for a special event. I would highly recommend Blo Carlsbad! I would give 10 stars if I could - they are AMAZING!

I had a great first experience with Blo Carlsbad! I made an appt over the phone and the receptionist was super nice and helpful. The atmosphere was really nice and very clean. When I arrived they had me wash my hands as well. My stylist was very friendly and talkative. She did a great job on the blowout and I have curly hair too! This was perfect quick and easy before my event!

Brought my teenage daughter and her best friend here for her birthday. The salon was exceptionally, sparkling clean, with every stylist very friendly and the receptionist super helpful. They did an incredible job, the girls were thrilled, and I couldnt recommend them more!

The decor was shabby, all of the client chairs were ripped and dirty, the make-up chair was uncomfortable and too high, the make-up artist did not wear a mask and was inches from my face. The beach curl I wanted fell out of my hair before I even got home and I had to recurl it myself. I was not informed that the price I was signed up for on the website was not correct and was charged the higher rate $119! It was confusing and I did not receive an adequate explanation. The rates are definitely TOO HIGH for the experience I was expecting. Other similar salons offer beverages-none here. I had a much better experience 8 or so years ago when it first opened. I will not return.

Really nice clean place that offers outstanding hair styling and blow drying services! The owner is extremely nice, and my appointment and style were done on time without issues!

Everyone Ive had here... Like probably 15 different stylists. All of them are great. I always like my blowouts to be extra straight...they use the flat iron to give it that extra sleek look.

This place is adorable! Also takes safety seriously (takes temperature, makes sure everyone washes hands, questionnaire etc.) Sade is a miracle worker and made me look like a millions bucks! Will definitely be coming back and would leave 10 stars if I could!

I had a fabulous hairstylist. She created exactly what I wanted & a pretty braid too! I loved it. Great atmosphere. It was a perfect way to pamper myself before taking holiday pictures. My hair looked amazing & the photos turned out fantastic!

I absolutely LOVE coming in here! It’s my no-weekly “princess” treatment for myself. Pampered for 45 minutes and lasts for 2-3 days!! Hayez is amazing and such a sweet person to talk to...I love everything about this place! ❤️❤️

Blo is amazing! The staff are all super friendly and helpful. It is beautiful and so clean inside. Janelle was a wizard and made my fancy beach wave dreams come true! She even took the time to give me a little tutorial so I can try it myself at home. And the 10min head massage add on was divine! Alpana and all the staff are so kind and fun. I can’t wait to do a GNO party there (soon hopefully;)!!!

Deb was extremely professional and took the time needed to listen. She did an outstanding job and really cared about all the details. The salon is definitely welcoming clients back and taking extra precautions. They wiped down all the chairs, practiced good social distancing and were very aware of cleanliness. They spaced out the clients as well. I was very pleased with the experience and I would highly recommend Blo and stylist Deb.

I can always count on Blo in Bressi Ranch to achieve any of my hair goals. Whether it is a professional round brush blow out or a big beachy wave kind of look - the professional staff at Blo always come through. I love the clean salon and fantastic Unite hair products too!

Love this place. First of all they just happen to use the one product line I’m not allergic to, Unite. Secondly they all are trained to do beautiful blow drys, from simple to fancy. When I get it done my hair looks good for a couple of days. Jessica is great but everyone I’ve tried is good. You get a discount if you go Monday through Wednesday.

Blo set me up with a bridal package for my upcoming wedding. Alpana was very helpful. She answered all of my questions and explained the service I would receive in detail over the phone and set up my services.I had a styling session with Ashley to create a style for the big day. Ashley was amazing. She listened, offered suggestions and created a beautiful style for my wedding day. I am happy to know I can count on the service and clean environment at Blo.Will definately be back and refer friends.XO

Nice visit. The deep conditioner I added on to my blow out had an amazing outcome on my hair, super soft. The blow out was great. My technician was very sweet and did a great job. I apologize, I dont remember her name, but she has very long sleek black hair. The restrooms were very clean and the front receptionist made sure we had a beverage. Thank you, Ill see you again.

Every time Ive been here my hair has turned out stunning and it just makes me feel extremely happy.Every stylist Ive met is on point, and I can feel the confidence and experience in the way they interact and perform.They just have that intuition of knowing the style that would complement and make you look gorgeous!!!Everybody is Ssooo personable including the owner Alpana who made me feel sooo at home and loved!Loved how accommodative they were while they opened in June/July despite being very protective with Covid restrictions, cant wait till they open up again!

This was my first visit to Blo. Hayez washed and styled my hair. She did a fantastic blow dry and style. I was happy with the results!Alex did my make up. He selected neutral tones and I loved the finished results!They rocked it!I recommend Blo for a great way to pamper yourself! Thank you!

I was so excited about this location and trying out their bridal service package! To say disappointed would be an understatement. We came to try out their bridal experience for potential booking for wedding day. I have been to blo la Mesa and they were wonderful for a regular “blow out” AND such pretty styles, but explaining any type of bride to bridesmaid hair, a braid or loose curls was not something they could complete. The hair styles were horrible and one on the girls was so rude and had such a bad attitude. They girl at the front desk was looking at her cell phone while I was waiting to check in. Makeup wasn’t horrible but I didn’t feel like after explaining a look we were going for they were able to capture it! We were told when we booked the appointment to try out the services the manager would be calling to discuss the total bridal package and explain prices and how this worked the day of and after a week + there was never a phone call. The location is so cute in Carlsbad and the blow outs looked good but I wouldn’t recommend this for another service.

I absolutely love how efficient all these girls are especially because I have long very thick hair and they always get me in and out in an hour! Ive been here many times and have had many different girls and theyre all very nice and friendly. They always listen and do exactly what I want. I love coming here when I have an event to attend or if Im just having a girls night out they always make me feel gorgeous!

Disappointed in everything. Stylist was rude and my daughters curls came out on the drive home. Do not recommend.

Perfection every time!!! I love the Unite products and the fun atmosphere. I have had many different stylists and have loved my hair every time. Even the hot tea selection is legit!!!!

They always do a great job. Its just super expensive, about $45 and with tip, it hurts! Definitely reccamend for a Special Occasion
